Hello, i have a problem and need help.
I installed the Android Pie Xiaomi.eu version 8.9.20 and it's fine for me, but when I reboot the system it not boot.
Take too much time to boot and when appears the screen where I have to put the SIM code suddenly the screen goes back and the phone don't respond....
I have to force a reboot pressing the power button for a while, but when reboot the fail repeats.
The only way to solve the problem is restoring a Nandroid Backup Up.
The last time it happened, I did try to make a new Nandroid Backup but the progress didn't leave the 0 %.... But when I cancelled the process and select restart the phone booted!!
Anybody can help me?? Thanks!!
EDIT FOR REFER THAT I DON'T NO SURE BUT MAYBE THE PROBLEM BEGAN AFTER FLASH MAGISK. WHEN I DID THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT THE PHONE DIDN'T BOOT. I restored the Nandroid Backup and booted...so I have not installed magisk. Thanks again.

ok so i used this toolkit for the MI A2 from this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/how-to/mi-a2-toolkit-unlock-bootloader-root-t3834585][Tool]
to unlock the bootloader, root the phone and enable camera2 API. And i had a little bit of issues with that as well but i got it working.
Now that was a few weeks ago and last night i accidentally slept in while watching videos on the phone without the phone plugged to the wall. So it drained and as i woke up i plugged it in and tried to turn it on but it was stuck on the boot screen (NOT bootloop, just stuck at android one screen) so i tried to fix the phone with the toolkit but then i suddenly got in bootloop (that problem i had the last time) so i tried to fix it the same time as last time. Said "last time problem" was that while trying to go into TWRP i got stuck on partition B (in my case normally the empty one) which resulted in a bootloop and i also couldn't access fastboot. It would always bootloop, so i tried to let it drain and then plug it in and immediately go into fastboot which seem to work and there i could change the partition back to A.
This time i thought it may be a similar problem and tried to solve it but i failed now i cant flash any partition (will add screenshot with prompt from toolkit), both of the partitions are bootlooping, i can still enter fastboot (now anytime i want to) and with the toolkit i can still access TWRP where i also tried to wipe cache (didnt't help) restore the phone (same) or wipe all the data and all resulted in failure. now im kind of lost at this prompt of the toolkit and my amateur guess is that my last resort may be the EDL mode but i dont know much about it and therefore i seek out for help

NEVERMIND, the phone started now as factory restored BUT i can't do anything really because i always get the prompt "Google-Framework-Services repeatedly stopps working" (my phone is in an other language so i translated it roughly). what should i do next? i dont want to mess this up more.
Edit:
Also i am currently on slot/partition B
You're probably trying to install a downgraded version, I highly doubt Mi A2 toolkit has been updated with the latest stock rom, you're better off downloading the stock rom from here and using the flash_all.bat file to do it.

Hey there,
Suddenly my mi9 started frequently to reboot itself into recovery mode. This happenens with different frequency. sometimes it works for hours and then it reboots after it just finished booting. It happens in lock screen as well in Home and in apps. I don't have good wifi right now so a hard reset is not an option. Is there anything else I can do?
Best regards
what rom are you using? did you flash magisk?
MIUI global 10.2
I didn't flash Magisk or anything else
No root
It happens Everytime I put it into the Lockscreen using the power button. But it also happens randomly while using it.

I believe factory reset is the way to go here.

Yes that's what I did now, works again like a charm.
Best regards
I think I have the weirdest soft brick ever. First of all my device works. I can use every feature with no issues till I reboot.
If my device is rooted and I try to reboot, it stucks on bootloader for about 30 seconds and loops on fastboot. There's no single reboot process gone smooth.
I could earlier fix this issue by flashing system, cache and boot all together from my back up. Now it doesn't work, at least it loops on android booting screen.
My device is MI 9T Pro 128 GB Global.
I flashed Xiaomi.eu 11 latest stable rom via the official TWRP and rooted with magisk.
I tried different TWRP's and OrangeFox to flash Magisk or formatting data but no solutions so far.
First time this happened I also tried to flash 'magisk uninstaller' but it didn't help.
I'm really new to this phone and triggered by this annoying issue. It's been 6 set-ups in 10 days. If anyone can help, that'd be highly appriciated.
So my Mi9 has this problem that after been flash with stock rom via XiaoMiTool V2, the only that worked out for me, its boots like usual, but after some time it goes to that MIUI colorfull logo and won't return back, rebooting does not solve, just flashing the ROM again, but still with that problem, any solutions?

How long have you waited? Changing ROM will reset everything, like, everything. It may take unusually long (I'd say 30 minutes but could be more or less).

When i flash the ROM it boots up normal, take like 10 minutes to load to the greetings screen, to first configure the phone, but it only lasts less than a minute, it goes back to the MIUI Logo and never comes back.
Hi, exactly the same thing happens to me, simply that I have never flashed it, I have only changed the screen. Did you find the solution? sorry for my English
Thanks

can you go into twrp
i don't have twrp installed

the bad thing is that I don't have USB debugging enabled ,
can I install it anyway?
I just tried and it won't let me install twrp
I just wanna ask after the oct update i got bootloop now when i try to go to service center they told me that the problem is the motherboard. When i explain to them the reason i just update it then bootloop they always tell me the problem is motherboard. And i need to fix it and the cost is half the price of the phone. Now i need some help. When i try to turn on its stuck to androide one then off whne i try to go to fastboot its okay. When i charge it it turns on and off. I jus need some help.

is your bootloader unlocked?
If so, have you tried booting latest twrp image from fastboot?
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
Sounds like you may at least have to try to wipe and format your phone at the cost of all data.
But then you could use the situation to install a good custom ROM..
If you were doing a normal update, your phone should revert to the previous slot after a few attempted reboots.
Keep trying to reboot.
If nothing else works, try flashing september version from EDL (search it on the forums).
I flashed and still couldn't boot at first. I tried restarting a lot of times, until it got on the "Retry" or "Power off" option. I let the phone sit on this screen until it shut itself off. After tried booting up a few more times until it finally did.
I was not plugged in during this.
I'm not going near that october patch ever again.
Hello everyone,
I'm using mi A2 (64gb). It is rooted and was running on Resurrection Remix 8.6.2. Somedays earlier, I let my phone idle, suddenly it starts rebooting, just like bootlooping. After seeing that I booted in recovery and wiped dalvik and cache then rebooted and the phone rebooted in system successfully. But then I noticed the power menu appearing continuously on the home screen, I tried to dismiss it but it rebooted again and so on. From then, only the splash screen appeared for 8 seconds and it reboots again. I can boot into recovery or fastboot but only for 2-3 seconds then it reboots.
I've searched on the internet and was flashing firmware manually from fastboot but accidentally, I flashed an image file in a wrong location and the phone screen turned off and nothing appeared. Then I found that it had entered in EDL mode. but still it is rebooting and I can't flash firmware from mi flashing tool as fastboot wasn't working.
This is the problem of my phone. A help would be amazing! Thank you!
Ps. I'm new here and it is my first post so if anything is wrong. I beg your pardon and sorry for my bad English.

Try shorting testpoint in motherboard then enter EDL mode,
Then use mi flash tool.need to remove battery first.
How? Watch youtube, for mi6x. Mi 6x = a2, sort of.
~yes, you need to remove/open the phone.

Thank you for replying
One thing to note I'm in edl mode already. Do I need to short the test points again?

U said rebooting even in edl, if not. Dont. Just make sure you have enough battery juice.
Use xiaomi tools. Or not, I uncompressed the file and click flash all.
