That tempered screen has glue in the middle or just around the edges?

Honor View 10 Tempered Glass
I am getting my mobile tomorrow. Does it come with a tempered glass. If not, which one would you recommend from Flipkart / Amazon.in ?

So far no good tempered glass has been in market due to some unusual curved 2.5D edges of view 10. If trying full screen colored TG blue TG are never the same color of the fone itself.
What available left is only the nillkin tempered glass which is not full screen and least halo or no halo effect if applied properly

Has somebody already applied a Nillkin H+ Pro to their View 10? I would love to see few real-life pictures of the actual coverage. Thank you in advance, fellas.

I installed one, removed it after 5 sec. Result? An halo effect has I've never seen before... (sorry guys forgot to take a picture)
Now I have one that has the same color of my phone and without glue in the middle.

What are your opinions about the nillkin or for this matter any other tempered glass?

Please note the eugo3d would have to be blue, I suspect it would not match the exact blue of the device which is a cons.

I'd prefer something clear, with great view and touch quality.

Bump, any luck with better glass protection? Finally got myself a view 10 bought a glass protection but the screen is exposed on the sides really it's quite naff haha.

I bet that in a couple of weeks we will see full-screen full-adhesive screen protectors also known as 4D or 5D. Their price is between 8 and 15 USD but asfar as I am aware it is worth paying that amount for a full-adhesive full-screen protector.

I'd say it is quite urgent that these become available, given the weight and shape of the device if it hit a solid floor even with protection I don't think it would be able to withstand it !

I saw a screen protector on skinomi.com.It looks very promising,in my opinion,it is full screen,but it doesnt say if it has a 2.5d edge.What do you all think?

It shouldn't matter since it is gel.

Today I found a full-screen full-adhesive tempered glass from AliExpress, also known as 5D tempered glass. I have left the link below, but for now there is only black color...

been looking for an alternative to whitestone. its my second install and the damn glass is lifting again in the side about mid height.
hope this gorilla brand yeild better and longer lasting results.

How did that turn out?

There are now really good entire self adhesive curved tempered glass protectors, the ones with only borders glue were garbage, I bought one MOSS brand, it is perfect, even ordered 2 more as spares some 8 dlls a piece

I got a Nillkin 3D Curved Tempered Glass from ebay a week ago and so far it seems very good. Its easy to install and goes well with my cover (Mofi from aliexpress).

You are a lucky men, better break 10 thousands protectors than the screen, if you have to replace the screen you loose the water resistance.
Also I wanted to see the case front , aliexpress don't show it in any photo.

Only frosted one that I could find. Quick delivery. Fits well, but doesn't have any installation frame, took a few tries to set it as best as I could. Edges are not totally perfect, but you can use the liquid the send to fix that, but I haven't, I'm not risking it and I think it happens with the rounded edges.
Smooth to touch, no reflections, no fingerprints. Good image, little granulation.

Noy this is my spare one. But I put it on top of my current one and it fits perfectly.

I noticed the tempered glass screen protector has a cutout for the earpiece! Does that mean the screen protector covers the entire front display? I'm assuming it goes to the very very edges of the screen rather than the current tempered screen protectors that stops a few mms from the edges.

hi can i check if the anti blu ray sp sticks perfectly without using any liquid oil? From your video, it seems that you didn't use any although the package comes with the liquid oil. Would be great if the oil is not necessary. Thanks.

i think the liquid stuff is to remove the potential black bars around the screen. at least thars what the description on mine says

Non-glass Screen Protector

Hi all!
I'd like to get a screen protector for the phone, and I've found an abundance of the same tempered glass protectors on Amazon (all the same box with different logos) but I really don't care for the glass screen protectors that much.
Has anyone found a good plastic protector that works well?

The official Xiaomi film screen protector works great. Much thinner than a glass one, don't really notice it on.

I do have to say, that the CHYI 3D Curved Film from the thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/xi.../problems-tempered-glass-try-chyi-3d-t3801912 is the best for me so far - I've changed about 4 protectors (3 glass and one film) and this one is the best so far (it's barely visible). I'm not sure though how tough it is - it looks like it's quite prone to scratches. I just applied it yesterday and can't tell yet.

I didn't get it at gearbest, but here it is. Xiaomi actually includes a practice screen guard so you can try to install that before you install the real thing.

Screen Protectors for the Mi 8

Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone has found any good screen protectors for their Mi 8, I'm looking for one and have no idea what ones are good/bad out there because I know with my Pixel 2 XL there are loads of really bad ones and a few good ones, some really good like the Whitestone Dome glass.
Unfortunately Whitestone don't sell protectors for this phone and I can't find any LOCA glue protectors anywhere, I'm going to be having a Spigen case on my Mi 8 so I need a protector that isn't full size rather a slightly smaller one. I also want it to be full adhesive without a dot matrix visible...
Any suggestions?

Don't think you will find any. Except if you go for a plastic film.
Normal tempered glass exists, covers the full front though, check out Mofi.

The CP+ for other phones has glue on it completely and it fully covers the front. You're saying that only the one for the Mi 8 isn't like that? Do you have any proof?

We don't have a curved screen, only the glass edges.
I watched the videos for other phones like the iPhone and Xiaomi phones and the glue was visibly applied to the center of the screen and there was no pentile matrix.
The H+ line doean't cover the screen completely, did anyone try that one at least?

Those were the ones I could find for that specific model. I'm just running the Mofi-protector, not full adhesive. Haven't found any with it.

I have a few screen protectors for the mi 8 and a lot of them have only glue around the bezel which makes the screen look bad like a LCD and I currently have one on which is glue which covers the display which looks better but the bezels dont look as nice as the others as they're just glass not painted

It costs a lot but it's probably worth it
Good thing we get a case with the phone, one expense less.

I'm indecise between the H+PRO and the CP+MAX. Does the CP+MAX looks bad? Does it have glue? I would love to see some pictures of those who applied it on their phones!
I am also afraid of the CP+MAX because i dont know if the cases are going to work well with that applied.

If you're worried about case support, take the H+ Pro.
I did order the CP+ Max for my Mi8 SE and I will put pics here once it arrives. As far as I see and as far as someone here already said, it has glue all over it, except for the Galaxy S8 ( or any phone with a curved screen ) .

We can't. The SE has a smaller screen and a different form from the Mi 8.

Can anyone posto some photos of nillkin 3D on Mi8?
If i want to remove the glass os it easy?

AWW YISS, Nillkin CP+ for the win.
It completely covered the screen, the glue is all over it ( not only on the edges ).
The glass is smooth, touch works great, the screen isn't cut out by the black frame. It's perfect, at least for my SE.
It even works with the Xiaomi case ( it's actually a perfect fit, I had to have it on to ensure that the protector fit the phone properly ) .
There are absolutely 0 bubbles, as visible on the pic, although I had to reapply 4 times to place it perfectly. xD
