@Arnova8G2
I tried installed the mod non root apk for gcam with portrait mode enabled on my g5 plus but while installing, it says "App not installed".
Please help.
1) Are you on stock? If you are on stock you cannot install any Google Camera above V4.1
2) if not, do you have a Google Camera already installed?

I've Samsung galaxy note 2. Updated to 4.4.2. Rooted. Response screen of root checker attached for reference.
When I try to install the framework on clicking the apk file, the installer starts and shows the warning messages. However, the install button at the bottom does not click - seems to be disabled. The cancel button cancels the process. Screen shot is attached for reference.
I've enabled unknown sources under security. I've tried with stopping and disabling the anti virus programmes - Avast and AVG.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
Vikas Garud.

the problem is not for framework installer but an App that control screen display.
solution is kill any App with a simple task manager before launch installation Apk.
it's tested, I have a note2
Which app?
Thanks fixfast.
I'm pretty sure that the framework works on Note 2!
Where should I start looking for "Apps that control the screen"? Don't all Apps control screen in some manner?
I may be wrong, but I doubt if its an app controlling screen is causing the problem. Only the "Install" button is disabled, the "Cancel" button is working fine. So installation of the apk is disabled, even though I've enabled unknown sources under security.
I've taken this question to general Note 2 help thread as I realised that this problem is only not with Xposed installer apk, but other apk's as well. I don't know when this behaviour started as I have installed apk's in the past.
Any pointers on how to proceed?
Thanks,

SOLVED
Thanks everybody. "Copy Bubble" APP was the culprit. After disabling it, the install button was enabled.
Incidentally, I searched for "Screen Filter" in play store. This APP was not in the search results.

Installation Issue on Note 2
Gents,
I've another issue installing Xposed by its installer.
I have a galaxy note 2 (GT-N7100) rooted (Super Su Free version), with TWRP recovery.
After running the installer the attached message appeared.
I tried to change the permissions of the /systme/bin manually by root explorer but failed.
Would appreciate your support.
Up!
Gents,
How could I install a recovery .zip version of Xposed Framework 2.6.1 ?
Can someone help me plz.
I've just bought a Nexus 6P, updated to latest build (MHC19l), unlocked, installed TWRP 3.0.0.1 and rooted through Nexus Root Toolkit, then installed ElementalX kernel 1.15. Everything was fine. Then I flashed xposed-v80-sdk23-arm64.zip and installed some modules. From that time, Contacts app stopped working saying "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped." at launch. Same goes for Google Now Launcher app. This happens even with all modules disabled. I tried wiping art/cache, and deleting app's data, but it didn't help. If I uninstall xposed flashing the uninstaller zip, Contacts and Google Now Launcher work just fine. Reinstalling xposed and wiping art/cache (modules installed, but disabled) brings back the problem. Another thing I noticed is the embedded battery percentage not showing after boot when xposed is installed, while it shows correctly when xposed is not installed (I keep it enabled in the System UI Tuner menu in the system settings).
Does anybody have any idea what's wrong?
Thanks in advance.
So yesterday I installed xposed framework on my Moto G XT1033 5.0.2, after the process i tried installing some modules with no success, "App not Installed". I rebooted my phone and tried installing again, this time it got stuck on " installing...". I have tried to install using lucky patcher and it gave an error saying that some directory didn't exist.
Please help
Similar problem on my LG L90. I installed version 86 and it's active. I'm able to download modules, but unable to install them.
It says, "Application not installed." I've tried this for several modules and received the same results.
In the installer logs section I have an error:
"E/Xposed ( 298): Cannot load any modules because /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/modules.list was not found"
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I also have the same problem with my Alcatel One Touch Fierce 2 running Android 4.4.2. I try to install the Xposed apk and its says "App not installed". Someone please help.

Hey there, did you find a solution for this problem since you posted this? I am experiencing this exact problem right now, it says that modules.list was not found in that directory. Framework is working, modules can be downloaded but not installed.
Thanks

For an unknown reason I had the same issue. I was able to download and install from Xposed, and than one day it wouldn't allow me to press the "install button". Long story made short I was able to get it working by installing this app:
[XPOSED] [KK] [FIX] KitKat BUGS fixer
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-service-bug-63793-fix-t2830732
Hope that helps someone and saves them time trying to figure out what happened.
I've had this problem and the way that I do it is by disabling the exposed framework then rebooting, then it will allow you to install apps. After, activate the module, that re eneble xposed, and reboot!
Hey
I was having the same issue but i fixed it.
This might be because google get to know that the phone is modified thats why no apps get installed so the fix it that download GMS PROTECTED app from xposed download and inatall it. Activate it and reboot. And if you're unable to install then simply turn the framework off and install the module that I've mentioned above.after installing the module activate it,turn on the framework and reboot the fone. Bang.... You're good to go
I bought a YokaTV KB2 pro which is rooted with Android 7.1.1. However the SuperUser/SuperSU apk is not installed. I would like to unroot to install Magisk. I have tried downloading and install both the SuperSu and SuperUser apks to uninstall but can't find the unroot button. I have installed Magisk v16 using Magisk Manager and when I run the SafetyNet check it show "CTS profile failed" and "Basic Integrity failed".
One of my subscribed IPTV app failed to run because the YokaTV fails the SafeNet test. I install and Magisk on my rooted Note 5 and the IPTV app runs flawless.
Help grately appreciated. Thanks.

So, I downloaded and installed the latest pixel experience plus rom and it came with a "thedise" gcam. in that app it asks me to download some magisk module to change my camera lens (I have magisk installed in my device) but when I click "download module" it takes me to a website which gives me this 1000 error code. And I tried vpn it doesn't work. I copied the url and at the end it says, "dmgcaux_v1.zip". So, I need this file in order to use my 20mp(5mp) camera lens. How can I get it? Or if anyone has it, can you please provide me a working download link. (thank you)

same thing here, but on Paranoid Android Quartz 5 rom with my manually installed gcam.
I'm going to try this and see if it works:
AUX Cameras Enabler Module
This module, created by Arnova8G2, eng.stk, and aer0zer0, allows Google Camera to use auxiliary “Aux” cameras on phones with a multi camera setup. It should work on most phones that don’t allow access by default to wide, telephoto, etc cameras. The fix is applied with a Magisk module, so root is...
