That thread is basically how to get it installed and full of chat. This is once it's installed and useful info like battery drain which hopefully we can build a list of causes

Facebook messenger has been causing miscellaneous battery drain for me. If anyone can confirm we might add that app to the list.

Has Google fit been released or not?

Is LED Control recognized better than Light Manager or Light Flow?

I can't confirm whether it is for me, but I have a lot miscellaneous battery drain, and I use Facebook Messenger a lot.

What's the "modified boot.img" it's still android 5.0 but what's modified about it?

Maybe you could also add how to get exchange working on Lollipop:
If you want to enable exchange you must install the following apk and then install the email app from the play store. Exchange/corporate will then show up and can sync properly

I've always used it and it's always been no noticeable battery drain and no issues like lightflow etc

Thanks!!!!! Been looking all over for this apk to install on my Verizon S7. It isn't available yet for the VZW S7 on Playstation or Galaxy apps. Best browser for the Sydney and S7. Thanks man.

For some reasons the protected secret mod it's not available on our s6.

Strange how when I load up the Play Store link it says that this browser is incompatible with my phones when in the description it clearly states that it'll work with my both my S4 Active and my S6 Active. I'm downloading the mirrored APK instead, hope nothing bad happens.

This happens on my phone too. Anyway it seems that on s6 a lot of functions are hidden or disabled

Getting "Content blocker is unavailable" with Crystal on 5.1.1

I'm currently in talks with Samsung Support on Twitter for both my phones. Hopefully they'll find out why this isn't working.

It works without any problems on my Galaxy S5 (AT&T).

I found out why it didn't properly work on my phone.
Samsung developers with MM decided to disable new features on rooted device with Knox warranty flag and all Knox stuff removed.
I removed this check and now everything works well.

I have the S7 Edge (Rogers in Canada) and my Samsung browser version is 4.0.01-89. Does anyone know why my version is way older than the one posted 4.0.10-59? I just want to make sure nothing gets messed up if I update to the latest one as the Canadian play store doesn't even have the Samsung Browser listed. The "feel" comes from the changes done to android itself, not from some string of numbers you can change effortlessly. Also, it's confusing and misleading for some people. So do right by people and put in the correct numbers.

Not everyone. It's not appropriate to assume such things. Here you replied to a user who legitimately though you released an 8.1.1 rom, which you had to explain was not the case.

The latest factory images for supported Pixel and Nexus devices are still on 8.0.0, go check them out. 8.1 is still in preview stage and is only available to OEMs(maybe) and the Beta program users.
Look, It's cool you've put in the effort of theming a rom, but changing the android version string is not theming and plays no part in "the pixel feel", it's best you keep the legit rom version.

Oh this is bad :crying:

I installed this ROM over the stock ROM with the updated bootloader and modem. I wiped everything and then flashed this ROM through TWRP. Everything went fine until the bootup. Device booted up but sim was not detected and WiFi isn't working either. Device gets random restarts and get heated too. Please help!

Answer to that is No dude unfortunately

One of the Samsung Employee at the Dreamhack 2018 in Leipzig sayed it's makeable to install it. try it with installing the APK downloaded from apkmirror or with an install zip. You can find it searching for it with google's help
Nice to know, he installed ultimate nougat s8 rom on his wifes s6 ^^ at this point I started to love him ^^ and they have an eye on the samsung xda community.

After Install clear the App Data from touch wizz and it should work

Here's the steps to install Good Lock apps on the M20. Need to be rooted and install lucky patcher. Same can be applied to the M30s.

I'm sorry, but I'm not able to find it on the Galaxy Store.
Edit: Nevermind. Turns out I'm not really good at searching things on the internet.

You can dowload it from apkmirror and sign it with apk-signer. Then install goodlock and the modules. But it don't change anything in M30s

I Hope it will Work with Android 10.

That is very disappointing.

I need a little help for M30. Few days ago samsung released AOD(Always On Display) update in galaxy store which was showing error during install (on M30 devices) and then suddenly Samsung pull that update back from store but the update worked for M30s devices and sideloading apk doesn't work for M30. Only apk released through galaxy store will install as update for AOD. I request if anyone M30s user here who got update of AOD recently through glalaxy store could make a backup of it with any apk backup app and share that apk here. It would be a big favor for us M30 users. Thanks in advance.

I downloaded NiceLock and downloaded the modules, but when i try to install the modules, it simply says "app not installed". Does signing apk remove the restriction of the device or something? Can I know how its done?

oh, ok. I gave up anyway. and the thing i've noticed is that m series use one UI 2 core whereas the high end samsung phones use One UI 2 full(or something like that). so probably samsung gives only basic features of the One UI.

Any update in this issue...I'm a M31s user, story is the same in here. Any way to make it work (nice lock or good lock) ?

One ui core version not support goodlock or nice lock
