By now I would think most of you have seen the ingenious homemade snes mod video(if not check it out on youtube(snes dell streak) ).I was wondering if I used a female/female usb adapter,if I could use my standard usb joystick in its stead???

The Home dock supports USB input, you can plug a keyboard, mouse, not sure about joystick, but for SNES gaming I use the Wii mote with an attached classic controller, works wonders.
don't know if your theory about female/female adapter works, I'm guessing you're plugging it to your regular USB cable. I believe the cable is just for charging/syncing, you will need a usb Host which is in the home dock :s
Wii mote seems like an ideal option. But that is up to you.

i installed my Nexus 7 in my car and have now a little "Problem".
I would use a Y-Cable for OTG use (Rear Camera) and Charging the Nexus.
My problem is, i would start my webcam automaticly by switching to the rear gear.
the plan is, to integrate a bridge to activate the car-dock mode when setting power to the mosfet.
the car-dock mode is managed by tasker and would start the rear cam automaticly.
but now the problem, how can i enable the car-dock or desktop dock mode?
what i need?
is there a way to manage it?
i see a other post, with the wireless charging mod, and the tab enterd dock-mode.
what will happend when i connect the Y cable with power and otg (webcam) and than i set power and gnd to the poggo pins?

just been trying to hook up a beamer to my Butterfly S, but it isnt working for me, do i need to enable hdmi output somehow?

still havent found out how to use mhl to connect to hdmi devices
my optoma projector doesnt detect output and if i connect my phone to my tv, it just triggers the car dock application
doesnt the Butterfly S support HDMI out through MHL?

Anyone know of a kernal or ROM combo that will allow for fully functional mhl to be displayed ATM have sound and picture but can't use landscape?
