Is there a way to change fonts? I bought the substratum app and tried the Team Wings app. It works as long as I don't change themes. The moment I change themes via the Samsung Themes app, the installed fonts vanish and there is no way bring them back short of reinstalling the whole thing.
Any tips would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Wing fonts work without substratum. Download fonts you want, install, reboot then apply. And it will stick even after rebooting or changing themes.

Try with theme galaxy app. On landing page if you swipe right there are options for building themes with just icons and fonts.
The icons do not persist across themes, but the fonts do, at least for me on Oreo 8.1.
If you are on Oreo and want to use Wingdonts without substratum you will need to give permissions with adb first. The xda Team Wings page has detailed instructions.

Preciate the help I had no trouble installing the themed Launcher itself but how do you apply the themed app icons to your applications? I'm running DK28 ViperROM Trinity 2.o and I tried flashing the icon pack zip in CWM3 but "installation failed" any more suggestions?
The only themed icon I saw was the launcher app drawer icon

You do not flash the icon zip. There are icons only with a blank starter icon to roll your own icons. Copy the unzip folder to your sdcard folder (exp: LP Icons).
Press and hold the icon you want to change. Select change icons, goto the folder you created called LP icons and select the icon you want. You may also at this time change the label name of the icon pointer to the app.
looking good jstine!

Let's say you want to change the phone icon for your LPro. Press and hold and you will get a screen "Edit dock shortcut". Select "Change Icon" then "Custom Icon" now you are in the Gallery. Find the folder that you named before and then select the icon you want to replace the phone icon with. Select the blue phone icon. Now you are done with custom icons. BTW: any icon that you select should have a size of 84x84. I think the ones I put in the zip folder are folder are 128x128. Please resize to 84x84 before using those icons for the screen to look correct. Hope this helps
Edit: Just tried this myself and the icon don't show to the correct size. Will have to look into why?????????

Ight preciate it mane this was a big help...I also figured out that if you longpress on the homescreen to add an application shortcut you can modify the app icon and name of any application on the phone with any icons you have in the gallery...only gripe I have is that the icons only change on top of the launcher homecreens...still a pretty cool feature doe...thanks again mane.
P.S. I have the same icons and they look and work just fine with the size they came after I put it under the DCIM folder on the SD card.

Can anyone point me where to put the font file, so it will be available under the:
>Setting>Display>Screen Display>Font style
I can actually go ahead and install font from the market, and it shows in there, but now I just want to transfer some font I have to the GNote.
I was able to go to: /system/Fonts
But, I don't think those are different fonts for the system. Because I don't see any of the fonts that I've installed in there.
Anyway, I want to manually put in some fonts in there (Wherever that folder is located), and make it show on the settings.
I also tried using the Font Installer app, but that doesn't seem to work.
I'm rooted by the way.
Thanks in advance.
You need a flip font for that. There's a thread with hundreds in the gs2 forum.

Thank you in advance.
On this occasion I want to share all my mods results on the theme for Samsung Galaxy, especially the Galaxy e5. But this guide can work on other Samsung Galaxy with Theme Chooser. Like the Galaxy A3, A5, A7, E7, J2 and more. I will keep this thread updated to section script and theme. For friends all the support yes please.
Terms :
Your device must Root.
Your device have Custom Recovery like TWRP or CWM.
Tools :
Root Explorer.
Text Editor or Notepad.
Apktool (Mobile or PC).
STEP 1 : How to display the hidden icon in ThemeChooser
Open the file "theme_app_list.xml" in the folder "..system/csc/here"
Add a new line with this
Code:
Align with the others.
Fill className with the target application.
Fill also IconId with your app icon name that will exist in the icon themes.
Save and exit.
Set permission 0644.
Reboot your phone.
One example icon youtube if you want to appear like this:
Code:
STEP 2 : How to create a Theme Support Full Icon.
After you add a script for example youtube, you have to add also in the theme. The following steps :
Take a sample of our mobile default theme, for example Natural2.apk
Decompile the apk through apktool.
Once the process is complete decompile go to the folder res/drawable/xhdpi/here and add a new icon with the name for example "theme_app_youtube_icon.png"
Go to the folder res/values/public.xml
Edit the line add id to youtube at the bottom. Align the id of youtube with other drawable file. Give serial number forwarding id before.
Decompile Apk, Sign, and Zipalign.
Install theme as normal apk.
Select your theme and apply.
Finish
But I know, for some people there who definitely do not want complicated. Easy version do you install the file below which I have edited so full icon theme. Install through Twrp, then install theme as normality apk.
Download : ThemeAppList_v1.zip
Install via TWRP let the theme full icon.

Hi there,
I searched on xda, but couldn't find installable APKs of new iPhone's font San Francisco AKA SF, which can be installed on Samsung GALAXY. So, I'm posting the APKS, which can be installed on Samsung Galaxys. I tested these fonts on two phones - one mine Core Prime & other Core Original. The fonts are working as it should.
I generated these APKs from TTF files using iFont. I'm going to post all most used variants - Regular, Bold, Thin & UltraThin.
Have Fun!

Must be a compatibility issue with new Marshmallow Touchwiz.
If you really want this font, Try this: Download iFont & Convert TTF files into APK & install. Google "San Francisco TTF"..
Not sure, if this will work or not.

So, I guess, only fonts generated using iFont aren't working. :silly:
Anyways, Helvetica is a nice font too, almost same as SF.

pasted the font files into ifont custom directory but when i go into ifont > myfont it doesn't show up? (my phone is rooted)

ok.. so i realized they were for installing font (sorry) and i installed them, went into ifont and selected the font but it doesnt change..
This is what worked for me, as the font (after installing the apk) showed up in the font options but did not apply.
Download the apk. Find the apk in your download folder. Rename the file from ".apk" to ".zip". Extract the .zip file. Find the ttf (filename/assets/font/). Copy the ttf and paste it in ifont/custom/ folder. Open ifont, under "MY" tab click "My Font". Select the font, then hit "SET" at the bottom.
