Hi I am currently on 7.2.3 global stable can I update to Chinese dev ROM ? Also will the root option work without unlocked boot loader ?

Before official unlock of this device I did the flash over updater app from china stable to china dev, so its up to you to decide to flash it or not...

Also, just wanted to confirm that this way of getting bootloader unlock codes is working. Got mine a few days ago and flashed the unofficial LineageOS port, very happy so far.

I have thought about this recently.
Maybe I can save/dump (somehow) the System/Data/Cache partitions and you will be able to flash it via ADB/Fastboot ??
Currently my TWRP will not work and it will stop on the TWRP start screen :/

Yes I think there's no working TWRP yet for Pie. For Oreo only the unofficial one works.

follow this if u having problem in setting launcher to default
1.first set package name of launcher u want in my app-pill killer
2.com.launcher_u_Want.launcher > in default desktop
3.read package name from app inspector if u don't know
4.freeze/delete oppo launcher using link2sd or titanium backup
5.if u still having problem , delete app from twrp recovery>file manger>system>oppo launcher.apk
reboot and it will set to default :silly:

Is there any plan you would be porting a module to Magisk as well along with xposed framework? Xposed is breaking the google safety net and I really cannot install xposed because of that.

Tried these steps but cannot freeze oppo launcher. Used Root Uninstaller, System app remover but both don't work. Please suggest what to do....

Well can somebody tell me how to unbrick my real me 2 pro as I was flashing the havoc os gsi and then I when it didn't worked I recoverd my back up and its in boot loop since then
Did havoc os worked in anybody's device? Anabhi posted it on its channel R2X2
Pls someone tell me a solid solution as it is one heck of burden

Yeah! I managed to do it via Titanium Backup donate version.
1. I Got Rid of Color OS launcher. Using Poco Launcher now. - Thanks to you.
2. Decrypted storage and Camera2API was enabled. Only thing that is missing now is Color OS support for Camera 2api. Slow motion stopped working after enabling Camera2api.

Thank you for the fix. I wasn't able to find any solution for my realme 1 and this worked for me. A request for someone senior here, please add this thread to realme 1 device too as it is difficult to find and as realme1 has received bootloader unlock, it will help them remove the red blinking root warning.

The attachment is a zip file.

This is not working properly in Realme 2 pro with 6gb ram. i think currepted file is there in R2X2-P7.zip. when installing 1.EdXposedInstaller_v2.2.4.apk shows" there was a problem while parsing the package". My os is color os 6 stock rom. version RMX1801EX_11_A.21 and Kernel is 4.4.153.

when you installed the kvt vendor in the aroma section did you leave the android test section Q?

Initially I tried to flash KVT with your test section Q enabled. That gave me boot loop. then as it was mentioned in the post to flash Oreo vendor ( KVT) , I though I should try with default settings of KVT but that didn't work either.
I'll try again with updated links now. Will update soon. Your work is really appreciated.

Wifi works, just activate hotspot and then wifi, the point is that no camera works, so it's not worth installing.

I install the ROM but at the beginning it asks me for a password how can I erase the password or what I did wrong even if I do a factory reset it still appears and I can't start the cell phone, what do I do wrong for someone to explain to me why it appears “enter the passwords to start the cell phone ”

Couldn't you put the files somewhere sensible?
I cannot download anything from Telegram until it is installed on my computer. I have never had it before, and I don't want to install Telegram.

USING THIS ROM FOR A WHILE, This is the best i have found in a while. My Device(Redmi 9I (4/64GB)) is pretty lowend so didnt' expected much but BOOT times are shorter, VOLTE is working(sometimes get buggy with Jio) and lot's of customizability with low ram usage. A little bit, of customization have been done to the device as i don't like the stock android feel i have used whatsapp and instagram, instagram is a little sluggish on the device, which wasn't an issue on the stock MIUI rom but, it's only occurs at once or twice while scroling reels section so not a big deal. The rom is now matured enough to be used as an daily driver for this low-end device especially the 2GB variant. Though am a little curious if anyone is using this devices as their daily driver.
Some things you should do first and foremost in this rom:
Use firefox focus instead of the included browser.
Use GOOGLE Files over the included file explorer with this rom.
Never put brigtness to the absolute minimum as the screen start flickering like crazy with autobrightness on.
TURN OFF automated video playback in youtube home page.
Anyways, here are some screenshots:

Problems encountered: Volts do not work; "Double click screen to close" cannot be closed; Power menu without key action in navigation bar setting; Two black screens appear when using the built-in browser. I don't know if Nusantara's new version 11 is easy to use?

did, you tried calling to other number?. also, what do you mean by "double click to close"? do you mean, double click to close screen or app?

Hey, could you, please, explain me how did you have a custom recovery on this device? I've tried so many times, but it keeps getting back to the stock recovery, and still couldn't find a proper explanation about this problem.
