I decided to go back to stock ROM ( 47.1.A.12.270). Flashed it with Flashtool, and now the damn phone is in endless loop. I get as far as the Xperia logo and then it restarts.
Help! What should I do?
Try using newflasher instead of Flashrool.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/cr...gress-newflasher-xperia-command-line-t3619426
Just put the unzipped stuff inside the folder of the stock ROM and run the flasher.
It's how I always go back to stock whenever I brick my stuff

Reflash your last kernel (same of your backup).
In recovery flash kernel
Reboot in recovery and flash your backup

i can get into download mode,i need a stock kernel i think, anyone got one, please.
It's the best to flash a complete stock ROM. You can get some on sammobile.com.
Otherwise you may flash Semaphore and try getting into recovery mode.

ok i've flashed CF-Root-XX_OXA_JW4-v4.4-CWM3RFS and restored a stock backup, now it is stuck on the galaxy s gt-9000
screen.
arrrggghh!

Phone has come back to life.
Thanx everyone for your help.
UPDATE I've just got my phone back to stock & unrooted using this Kernel_XWJW7 & this firmware GT_I9000_XWJW7_XWJW1_ITVJW2_Sbl from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881.
Hope this helps people with the same problem i had.

Hey!
I tried flashing CM10.1 but something went wrong when I flashed the boot.img. Whenever I try to flash a new boot.img in fastboot the phone reboots before the install is complete. I then tried to install the Doomkernel v06 through recovery (both CWM and TWRP), it seems like it works and I tried to install another room I had (KA05), still stuck in bootloop.
There is no green led when entering flashboot, but the flashtool finds the phone before it restarts again.
So yeah.. I'm rather stuck with no possibility of flashing stock ftf and no way of flashing anything but the Doomkernel v06 through recovery.
[SOLVED!!]
I managed to solve this by trying to install different roms and kernels. Ended up with Cyanogenmod (the one I was trying in the first place).
Not sure I'll be able to change back to anything though, but yeah at least it's not dead
Oh, and the kernel and rom I tried with was on the internal SD from earlier (backup if something went wrong)
ok, I managed to get into Cyanogenmod 10.1 now!
However, I don't have service, and it doesn't appear to find my sim-card
I just tried to install pacman rom with CWM on my xperia z, it seemed to get stuck on install so i powered off, now its appearing to boot loop and showing the sony logo and nothing else.
Any ideas while i get googling?!
If you can still get into CWM, flash another rom. Else use flashtool an an original ftf
I cant get into CWM but can connect in fastboot and flash mode with flashtool.
Can i flash a custom rom this way?
You can flash stock roms & kernels, you'll have to reroot etc again but your phone will work again
There's plenty of unbranded software's for both 6603/2 in the development sections.
I use this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2202685
Stock rom installed thank you!
Hi People,
I'm new here and I do have a problem over, as the title says, my Xperia Z (C6603) won't boot up anymore.
Yesterday I unlocked my bootloader, I also rooted my phone and installed Cyanogenmod 12 afterwards using TWRP, this was working perfect and stable.
Today I found out my phone wasn't rooted at all after I installed Cyanogenmod 12. So I wanted to start over again using this way (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/guide-how-to-root-10-5-1-0-283-t2872873).
So what I've basically done, I installed Xperiaz_10.5.A.0.230_kernel_only.ftf over the CM12 mod, after this my phone doesn't want to boot anymore, getting stuck at the the 'Sony' logo.
Tried to do TWRP -> Factory reset, but it didn't work.
Should I install a full .zip stock rom again instead of the FTF file to restore my old rom?
Kind regards,
xChillz
My root guide and the files provided there are for rooting the 2 stock roms in the thread title only.
You cannot flash a stock kernel onto a custom rom. This is why your device isn't booting.
You can get your device booting in a couple of ways:
1. Extract the boot.img from the Cyanogenmod rom zip and flash it using fastboot. This should allow you to boot into your CM12 rom again.
2. Flash a stock FTF. This will bring your phone back to complete stock. How to package and flash stock roms in FTF format

Thanks for the quick reply!
Could you tell me where I can get a 10.5.A.0.230 stock FTF or can I just Google it?
xChillz.
Thanks bro,
Installed the 10.5.A.0.230 stock FTF, then I installed CM12 and it works!

So I flashed the Alliance Rom for my t-mo Note 4 and all I get is the boot logo.
I've gone through with Odin and the CF auto root junk, used TWRP to wipe and flash this rom.
I got TWRP on there, but I can't seem to put any files onto my phone. Like I select mount, and when I try to drag a file over, windows wont let me.
You see, I've got this error, and it says Kernel is Not SEandroid enforcing. I have looked for a fix, and people say that I need to flash a file called stocK_kernel, which I have.
I can't get this file onto the device it seems. Anyone have any ideas of what is going on?
EDIT: tried flashing another rom using odin and now all i get the t-mobile logo...
and I can't register for sammobile because I can't pass the captcha !! It's frustrating... I can't download what I think I need >_>
Any help would be awesome
I know this is a typical problem, I've been around XDA for a while, but never made an account until I decided to actually root and try to flash my device.

A ROM using ODIN? Which one? If it's Lollipop...and you are on the T-Mobile logo screen, how long did you wait? It takes ~10 minutes to boot. But, if you are on the Samsung screen, there is a problem. So, I'm currently thinking you are not waiting long enough?
Try putting your rom in the extsd or internal and flash from there.
I would grab the stock firmware and flash that using Odin. Don't forget to factory reset using stock recovery after flashing stock firmware.
Just start over.
Then root and install twrp, once your back at square one, then put your rom of choice on either of the SD locations and flash using twrp.
A bootloop after flashing a rom is usually, in my experience, a kernel issue. So it couldn't hurt to have an alternate compatible kernel to flash if you need it.
If you have TWRP all is not lost. If you flashed the stock ROM then you probably don't have TWRP anymore. Its just about impossible to wreck this phone by flashing ROMs. I would ODIN to the stock COD6 build. I believe there is a thread with all the files you need in one zip. Follow those instructions and it should get you back to stock rooted and you can go from there with flashing ROMs again.

No the rom doesn't use Odin. But I imagine the person had to root and flash a custom recovery as well. The rom of course had to be flashed in recovery.
