Temperature stock on 37° on pm660l_tz - Xiaomi Mi A2 / 6X Questions & Answers

Hello every body . Sorry for my english write. I have a mi a2 phone . I installed app aida64 and today i realise that sensor of temperature of pm660l_tz is stocked on 37° all day!!!! Is that normal??? Thnk you all.

If you live in a warm climate, it's pretty normal to have it on 37°

But im in a cold climat now .all the sensor in my phone change in different temperatur but in the sensor pm660l_tz still in 37° ,i have trayed to reset my phone today but nothing happned.

Mine is the same. 37 degrees. Even when other sensors fluctuate (between 29c and 33c) the specific one stays at 37c. Maybe a bug in aida or the sensor itself?
I wouldn't worry that much about it though.

xda diamoind died by heat??

hi,
I used a xda diamond with Igo navi 8.3 for GPS navigation in the car by temperatures around 35 degrees celsius. Unfortunately Wifi was enabled (even more heating) and the sun was shining on the xda's case - suddenly the device switched off itself.
I put it in the shadow, batterry and cover away at let it cool down - but since days it won't start anymore. The initnal screen is displayed, but when the numbers of the software versions would be displayed the device turns itself off again. The same when I try without the SIM card.
Does anybody have a clue what I could do to make the device working again? Or has a part really died by heat?
Thanks for advice

You could try a different battery in it. The battery could be the only bad part. Worth a try.

after some more days of waiting and recharching the battery over 10 hours the device startet again and since then its working - maybe the battery's chemical elements got a damage through heat which was healed during some waiting time....
Thanks for advice!

[Q] Led Flash in Camera mode issue?

Problem is next, after going outside where temperatures are a bit cold 0-5 Celsius, my hd7 does not take photos with led flesh,in dark in night even if l turn my led flash light always on in camera set up phone do not flash the photo. After geting inside house where temperature are normal like 20 Celsius everything is ok but after few minutes (hd7 customize to the room temperature) l contact HTC about this issue and they are telling me that phone should operate normal from 0-45 Celsius.
I even install some flashlight app from marketplace and in same conditions like l write in start of this text the two led flash lights are working, but when l start camera or video mode-nothing.
Has any one this problem? Or is it software or hardware glitch?

No this is happening even on full battery..official mail from htc to me was that it is not likely hardware problem, they believe it is software and their recommendation is to hard reset device
l had a confirmation for this, today we test 2 hd7 and temperature was +10 Celsius outside,we put this to phones on table outside in garden,we haven't touch them about 10min. After that we grabbed both phones and tried to take evening picture with flash, and there was the issue-led did not do the job, even we turn always on in camera settings and nothing so we turn phones off and on (rebooted), and again nothing.
so then we put phones inside pockets of jacket near body, after 5min we take phones out of pocket and try to take photos-this time led flesh worked flawlessly. So my conclusion is that in camera mode something is wrong with HD7 led flesh.
Flashlight app that l have installed in HD7 working fine in cold and warm conditions.
Battery was 50% on both phones during this test
HTC have You seen this post??

[Q] Disable temperature check?

Is there a way to disable temperature check for battery and CPU on CM7 rom on X8. I know that i can delete sysmon.cfg for some rom-s, but this one doesnt have one.
the problem isn't in the app, maybe some modules, why would you want it removed anyways?
Swyped via Tapatalk 2
Do you use an app for that?

Battery Temperature

Hey guys, just out of curiosity, how hot does your phone battery normally get while charging?
I noticed that on average the temperature increases to around 90-92 degrees fahrenheit. However, sometimes the temperature remains at 87;
It gets noticeably hotter while I am using the phone and charging at the same time, however, I guess that is to be expected.
While not charging, the temperature stays at an average of 83 degrees fanrenheit. I am not sure if such an increase in temperature is normal.

Normal. Charging and usage together will create lots of heat.

Ah I see, that is reassuring, hopefully I hear the same from others too
Surprisingly, mine is about the same. I'm charging my phone wirelessly, and the hottest it got was 88.7.

I had switched my phone off and kept it in box waiting for the screen guard to arrive .
During my way to office , i dont know somehow it got booted .
It reached 134 degree fahrenheit (57 degree celcius) , when i opened it in my office after 15 minutes of commute .
Switched it off for sometime and back on , back to normal temps .
Can this kind of temp damage anything for a short while ?
Help much appreciated .

Doesn't sound normal to me. Try a factory reset to see if it resolves the issue. It it continues to do this then you probably want to take it back to the store.

I havn't experienced anything again and currently its running at 27 to 35 degree celcius .
If somehow it got booted during commute , since the box was closed and all , no heat could escape properly . Is is safe to assume that because of the closed box the temp reached higher ? (I had also covered the phone in the plastic it came with) .
So i guess the phone reached its temp limit and kept restarting inside the box .
I want to know if such temps for short duration could have damaged anything , as the phone is working fine otherwise . (Today i'll turn it off and keep in my pocket and commute and see) .
Help much appreciated .

A battery temp of 27 to 35 degree celcius is normal. If you want to protect your phone, get a case and remove that plastic wrapping that the phone came with.

LOL , the plastic wrapping inside the box was just for commute , i was waiting for my spigen on that very day .
But this mystery will never be solved , why did it boot in the first place in the same box the manufacturer gives us (it has to commute on seas and land) .
if it boot cause of commute , why did it reached such a temp in such a box .
Anyways , thanks .

Xperia Z3 compact Very Hot. up 41° celcius.

It is version 23.5.A.0.570 not 23.5.A.057
And my device reaches 90 degrees celsius when backing up through TWRP,for me it shows that 43 degrees is idle temperature, and my device doesn't even feel hot at all,or warm.

If you touch back of your phone is it hot? Anyway if resetting or changing sw didn't help it seems to be HW issue and you can only RMA.

I don't think the phone would be running if the temperature was 90 degrees. And 43 idle seems to be nonsense too, I barely get that after an hour of intense gaming.

It seems to be wrong temperature reading then, gonna see then with CPU-Z or some other app
Maybe the outside temperature is the problem. I'm studying in Germany but when I fly back home to Cyprus where the temperature is much higher (normal day in the summer 30-35°) I can feel that the phone is getting kinda warm
I have same problem.
From time to time my phone is getting not warm but hot. Most time is warm and never cool when i use it.
Running CE1 575 root. No custom rom.
I encouter same problem on CM12.1. I even started to cool my phone with water!
Sent from my Xperia Z3C using XDA-Developers mobile app
I've found that it's running hot since I did the Marshmallow update to 23.5.A.0.575
Overall battery life feels to be down and coupled with the loss of Stamina/Ultra-stamina I'm now looking to downgrade back to Lollipop.
