It's a problem with the WiFi drivers....try taking the stock WiFi drivers....either that or you spoiled your WiFi hardware
This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?

Wifi wouldn't switch on when I was on stock it would give error like you said sometimes even after entering the code to load the drivers I had to restart my phone
Then I flashed cm7 and the problem vanished. Although when I reverted to stock the error was back

welll for that had u used a nandroid backup to revert??
Maybe the baseband is a problem. Try a different baseband and see. Since you are telling that wifi works in cm7, maybe there is a problem with your stock rom.

Can't turn on Wifi and Blueetooth, gives error
Hi, I just purchased a samsung galaxy ace gt s5830 that came from korea. The phone was initially working fine and had 2.2.1 froyo running on it. But this set did't allow more than 80 characters in text message and converted into an mms. I thought I should updgrade it to gingerbread so I downloaded gingerbread 2.3.6 and upgraded the phone via Odin. Since then, my wifi and bluetooth don't work. when i try to turn on the wifi, it says "Error". I have tried all possible solutions but was never successful. tried those codes like *#526*, *$528* and many other codes but no use. I also thought of going back to froyo 2.2.1 and downloaded a stock rom and flashed it but still the same error.
Now can anyone suggest a solution here so that either I can revert to the korean firmware (since I can't find one for korean region) or I can fix the wifi and blutooth error.
Please Please help!!! I purchased it to present it to my wife on her birthday but now its all messy
any of u try updating to 2.3.6
Please can you help me because i new here and I have a problem.
Ok well yesterday I flashed my galaxy s i9000 with 2.3.3 XXjvh firmware and installed CWM recovery using Odin.Well today i tried to unlock it using sgs unlock pro app and it said it was succesful and when it rebooted I tried to conect to wi-fi it never entered so I reflash it because i tough it would fix it but I was wrong :/ and every time I turn wifi on it stays on "obtaining IP address".
Please help me on how to fix this :/ and anything else you need to know about the phone just tell me ok.
I recently had a problem with my gt n7000 constantly rebooting so it went in for arepairs they sorted the rebooting problem out but now when im trying to make a call irt says not registered on network, i was told if i update the firm ware it would come right so i updated it to jelly bean 4.1.2 xxlt3 but still the same problem please help is there somthing i can download and run on my phone to sort this problem out?
Ive tried rebooting and reseting to default but nothing works
check in settings>about phone>status. do you have a legit IMEI?
hi friends need help .
Last night i rooted my galaxy note with cwm.tar recovery and superuser.
everything was working fine until i downloaded rom manager and did something, i dont remember (perhaps flashed rom ) and my device restarted after that my capacitve back button and menu button stopped working and lights are showing on always even i tried to disable it from setting. I flashed to stock rom ics and jelly bean but still problem not solved please help me friends. i sure its not hardware issue any suggestion ?
galaxy note shve160s.
OK here's you're first problem, this is not the thread for your device. Second you may need to use Odin to flash your original stock ROM. Your stock firmware can be found at www.sammobile.com or samfirmware.com. If that doesn't work it maybe a hardware problem. Next time search XDA for your phone's model number. This thread is for SGH-T879. Good luck. P.S. don't use ROM manager to flash CWM If your exact phone isn't listed. You're lucky you didn't brick your phone.

thank you it didnt solved my problem perhaps its hardware related problem.. unlucky me
Woke up to my S6 Edge Bootlooping today. I tried flashing 2 different stock firmwares with no luck. The phone eventually starts up but has serious lag and I'm unable to use Wifi. Seems like the firmware restore isn't working. When I boot into recover I see the words "dm-verify verification failed. Need to check DRK first..."
PLEASE Help! I need my phone working for tomorrow.

Did you Odin those stock firmwares? Were you running something custom when this started happening? If so what?
