Found a particular weird problem/bug/feature today with a friend's i9000. We upgraded it to Froyo (JP6) last night but today in the office when he plugged it in to his charger the phone went into landscape mode. Every single time. No way to get it back to portrait except to unplug it. Turns out it was this particular micro usb cable he was using. I tried my phone with his cable and sure enough, landscape mode.
I cannot for the life of me find a way to disable this. I can only assume it's a Samsung feature meant for their range of accessories and in the tip of the charging cable there is a readable code which defines it as a landscape dock.
If anyone finds out how to disable it I'd love to know.

I need to cast a tab from my macbook to a TV. I need it to not shut off. I have my screen saver shut off on my mac. checked my tv and there isn't a screen saver mode on the tv. It lasted about 8 hours and then went to the chromecast pictures / sceensaver mode. Is there a way to disable this from happening?
Hi.
I would like to turn my TF701T into a Kodi and Emulation System which i would like to connect to my TV.
To use the USB Port i have the Keyboard Dock connected. But when i close the lid the whole System goes to sleep. Disabling USB and also the HDMI Output.
Is there a way or a App to Prevent this?
Dock TF701 has a magnet in the middle of the keyboard that when you bring your tablet falls asleep.
You can remove a magnet from the keyboard
but when you close the screen when the tablet is turned on, unless you disable it by pressing
Hi all,
I'm using my phone as a screen for a drone remote controler (dji rc-n1). It is plugged via USB-C.
The way data transfer works on android implies that the phone is charging as soon as it is plugged on the controller. So I'm not able to have full brightness on my s21 as it is usb charging.
I was looking for a way to prevent my phone from charging but it seems it has to be root.
So is there a way to force full brightness, even while charging, without the phone to be root?

Click to collapse
Is this something can be automated using Bixby Routines? i.e. Charging > Full brightness
