p7-L12 with EMUI 3.0

Hi all!
I wanna update my p7-L12 EMUI 2.3 to EMUI 3.0.. and i don't see where is this UPDATE.APP in this page emui .com /plugin.php?id=hwdownload
Only i found L00, L05-07, L09 but not L12...
Anyone know about this?

First you must change the variant of your P-12 to P-10 with EMUI 2.3. There are some people who have already done this change, I also had P-12 installed in my cell phone, "Latinoamerican version" and I took the risk of changing ROM, it is very simple, you can find many roms to download, I started with B126, then B-133, B135, B136, B138 and B602 which works with 3.0 EMUI. AFTER changing your variant rom from L-12 TO L-10 I recommend you to read this thread that explains to update from 2.3 to 3.0. It is not possible to talk in spanish despite that I am LatinoAmerican, but the thing is this forum is only in English and one of the mandatory rules to post here in XDADEVELOPERS is to write in English, otherwise the information you put here will be deleted and you might be banned. No pierdes nada, antes mejor pues el L-12 esta muy desactualizado y al pasarte a la version L-10 antes se actualiza y va más rapido y estable, te recomiendo buscar la ROM con la versión general sin operadora. Be careful, never install ROMS with L-00 variant since these roms are for Chinese versions with double sim card.. Good luck and remember read first before performing any change and do it at your own risk...

i decided download this because not are associate to enterprise telephony.
Comming soon, i'll install this UPDATE.app but for HiSuite program and next i'll install B602...

copy update.zip (don't extract it) in your sdcard/dload folder and then open updater app and choose update from local

You do not need to uncompress the FOLDER UPDATE.ZIP, just put it in the /dload folder and UPDATE with ACTUALIZACIONES Y ACTUALIZACION LOCAL del propio menu del celular, no lo hagas por los 3 botones porque cuando lo instales te saldrán errores. The zip file must be 600mb.

i see this thread and i think i have the same problem but my p7 is australian version p7-l11
i don't get any updates and i'm still on EMUI 2.3 so i decided to change to global version p7-l10
could you help me please and tell me what i want to do this ?

I'm im l12 variant an change it to l10 with b133 you can try the same. download the update, extract the update.app and put in sd root \dload, then just apply the local update from update menú.

Just to share a few tips for some L12 owners that purchased B119 devices (in my case also arrived unlocked). After try almost all ROMs unsuccessfully (FAIL message while verifying package) I tried a VENDOR CUST (from B133 package) and after a really long formatting phase it end the process (with a FAIL message but at the end). Reboot. After that the only ROM that worked was a B119 of L10 (I used SPAIN one) and it end the process (again with a FAIL message at the end). Reboot. After that I chose B133 (general) and it worked (again with a FAIL message at the end). Now I'm just waiting for B621 download to install. I flashed it about 8 hours ago and it installed. Beautiful animation but the sound came in late during the boot. When it went onto the lockscreen the sound continued. Other than that, I find the boot animation quicker than stock boot (after flashing I wiped cache and dalvik) {TWRP}

Nope you cant.... cm based roms used zip format for boot animations but only samsung uses the qmg format...
so sadly no

Solo copie los archivos con el mismo nombre a mi celular (ya buscados en mi celular) para apagar y encender mi celular y el vídeo de apagado quedo pero se crasheo (bug, etc) al final nunca apago (tuve que apagarlo forzadamente manteniendo el botón de apagado por 10 seg.), cuando encendió el sonido apareció de Wactch Dogs (perros guardianes), pero en la imagen no se veia nada solo lluvia de televisor sin señal pero poca, muy poca en medio de la pantalla, casi nada, lo hice de este modo porque en instrucciones dice descargar (que eso lo entiendo), despues dice flashear via recovery (y yo me quedo diciendo !WHAAAAAAATTTTTT!??), busque por Internet que significa esto pero lo único que encontré era la gente entrando a recovery (que eso si se como hacerlo, se parece a la bios del windows, algo así) pero luego me decía que borrara el cache ("wipe cache partition") y luego el "wipe data factory reset" (que significa borrar los datos del celular si no me equivoco) y yo no quiero borrar nada, me pueden ayudar por favor en este paso, me quede en entrar al recovery supongo que con el zip descargado en la tarjeta sd dentro del celular, y despues que??, o es que este archivo es incompatible con mi celular? POR FAVOR AYÚDENME!

If you want the animation to be faster or slower edit build.prop in \system\ and add this lines at the end of the file:
# Bootanimation
androidboot.selinux=0
boot.fps=20
shutdown.fps=20
-> save then reboot phone, you can change 20 to more or less to make animation slower or faster.

This has bricked my device twice
This boot animation has bricked my samsung galaxy express running cyanogenmod 12; I no longer have a phone because of this app.. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. If you happen to have a fix for this, please message me. The phone is missing the home button, and it just goes into a boot loop; where it boots the animation; and then it restarts and boots the animation again.

You have to flash bl as well...
Then flash the rom if you're getting errors then most probably the file is corrupt

I just checked the ROM I downloaded. It appears it only downloaded 0.97GB of the file, and the full size should be around 1.07GB.
Where do I find the boot loader? I was already on PA2 so I assume I didn't have to do anything else other than load up the Marshmallow ROM.
This is was a while back but I believe I went from OI5 to PA2 through stock recovery.

yeah you only need to flash the boot loader if you're upgrading or downgrading to PA2, otherwise its just the .bin file.
this is how I did mine since i was on PA4,
flashed PA2 including bootloader,
immediately went into recovery and flashed PE3 from SD card.

what size is the file supposed to be? mine is 0.97GB but is someone getting 1.07GB?

Finally got it to work. Yes, the actual file is 0.97GB.
I had to download the firmware on my phone, transfer it onto my memory card, transfer it onto my computer, change the ".bin" ending to ".zip", transfer it back onto the card, and select it in stock recovery.

Twrp - efs - imei

I installed Lineage and somehow lost my IMEI.
I reverted back to stock and restored the EFS backup in TWRP.
My IMEI still shows as 0 and I cannot make calls.
Any ideas???

I had the same problem what I did was download Android 8.1 and then update to the latest patch with Android 9.0 and it worked.

If you download it to Android 8.1 and upload it again to Android 9 .0
But not by twrp it is by means of commands

Thank you for this post. I made the same mistake with my mom's G6 and I thought lineage had corrupted the IMEI has it had before to my G5s plus. But then I read this and the comments, (luckily I have an x4 and read the forum from time to time) and was like oh duh, so I flashed the most current stock rom to her phone and it fixed it.

SOLVED: This happens when one flashes V2.x(EU) images to V1.x(NON-EU) phones! See below.
NX627J keeps indicating "<!>\nYour device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot\nVisit this link on another device:\ng.co/ABH" after I've attempted to flash magisk, since then all attempts to flash Official ROMs downloaded from nubia.com don't change the condition. I've emailed [email protected] and am awaiting a reply. It's been since late Friday.

Por si te sirve, a mí me ocurrió lo mismo y lo solucione flasheando por ADB el Boot.img "fastboot flash boot boot.img" y el recovery.img "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" de la ROM que tenía instalada en el momento de flashear magisk, que era la Global 203. Después de eso me permitió acceder al recovery original de nubia de nuevo y desde ahí con un USB por OTG le instale la ROM CN 2.21 y desde ahí ya lo puedes volver a actualizar a la versión global si quieres.

It may be laughable but I wasn't expecting to flash the system, just the boot. I would like to avoid erasing my system. This is Android after all and without root there aren't any backup systems, so you'll have to forgive me for not having one.
I found 3 versions of OEM boot.img and flashed them all without success. Recovery works.
