Hi everyone!
I just got my new Xiaomi Mi A2 phone. And I cannot play music via my car's JVC receiver.
I can pair them and the receiver shows the title of the song and counts the seconds of the music but there is no sound.
There is sound for calls but not for music from apple music, google music nor android.
I have never had this with any phone.
I have sound with bluetooth headphones.
So if you have any idea on how to solve this I would appreciate it!
Strange, it works with my JVC Unit, At mine there is a "init" option in the Bluetooth menu, this helps sometimes, or you could try to reset the unit
Hi, first unpair on both devices, install my magisk module:

And pair again

I have been unsuccessful in trying to connect my Galaxy Note with my JVC headunit of my car. The weird thing is that the same unit has no problems connecting with my Galaxy Tab.
Anyone else encountering the same problem?

I had a similar problem with the headunit in our car, the Vlingo app was stopping the pairing connection from completing, once Vlingo was disabled it paired ok, then turned Vlingo back on and all ok.
It may not be the same problem but hope it is of some help.

Sorry, I should have said turn off launch on Bluetooth,
Go into app to Voice talk screen - menu - settings - ensure the Launch on Bluetooth box is NOT ticked, then try and pair with head unit again. The Launch on Bluetooth was stopping my Note pairing to my Nissan Connect head unit, once paired you can turn Launch on Bluetooth back on again.
Hope this helps

I too found that my BT headset doesn't connect to my phone properly sometimes. In the phone settings it shows the headset is connected but my Plantronics headset should play a voice prompt saying "Phone 1 connected" but it doesn't. And when I call someone, all voices are through the phone speaker instead of the headset even if I select BT in phone app. I had to reboot the phone to make it work again.
This happen in both 244 and 67 firmware and it happens only occasionally.
perhaps the device needs to be shown for being paired again ?

No in that situation, unpair and pair again don't work. I can only recover it by rebooting the phone.
weird, I didn't use BT yet, so I can't confirm this issue on my side. I'll do some tests with my BT keyboard...
Yp only reboot fixes it

No, the problem occurred when I was in my car so wifi was not turned on.
Hi all,
This may very well be a stupid question, but I can't find any information about it. Here's the deal. I have CM10.1 Stable, with original kernel, setup on the SNG. I also now have a bluetooth car radio. The pairing works fine, and calls can be made and heard on car speakers. However, whatever I do, I cannot get a music player to send music to the bluetooth. It just plays on the phone speaker. I've searched for settings, in bluetooth options, in the music players (tried two), but alas to no avail. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for the help.
Tony
Don't remember about 10.1 but 10.2, the music through Bluetooth works fine..

OK, so how do you get it to work, step by step?
1-pair bluetooth device
2-Play music using apollo or player pro or whatever player you may use..
And is that it?
As I was saying, the problem here could very well be the user... But I can't figure it out !
Thanks,
Yeah. There is no need to open apollo. I just select BT audio on car stereo and it starts playing from where I left last time..

Have you paired your headset with your watch? That has to be done whether it is paired with your phone or not.

In the watch Settings, scroll down and tap on Bluetooth. Make sure Bluetooth is checked on, then tap on BT settings and it will start to scan. Put your headset in pairing mode and it should find it.

That depends on your headset, you'll have to read the manual (RTFM) for it.

Geez, you can't even search for yourself? Are you sure you're intelligent enough to be using this "high tech" equipment? Maybe you should box it all up, take it back to the store, and get a flip phone and analog watch.
This took me 10 seconds to find and link: http://www.yalldata.com/downloads/upzone/Manual/phone/C01484.jpg
Hey, I am new here. I purchased an LG G Watch R and will get it in a few days!
I am planning to use it at the gym. Will I be able to connect my phone and my Bluetooth headphones to the watch? I want to use the media controls on the watch to change the songs that are loaded on my phone. I know Bluetooth doesn't usually allow you to connect to more than one device; so I was wondering if this would work?

I have the Parrot Zik bt headphones and they work with the watch just fine. the watch doesn't have the same connection as usual bt devices, so anything can work.

I use lg tone ultra. . Works as expected.
Thanks
Thanks, I am supposed to get it today, so I'll post back what I find.
Using Sony BT with watch on note 4, works a treat.
Plantronics BackBeat Go (PLT_BBTGO2) are great for this.
what does the music playback do to the battery life?
