have you tried reflashing the entire firmware?

Dis you get OTA updates after doing this

Follow the tutorial below and you can install until the last update.
Requests:
-Windows
-Payload Drumper Download Here
-Python
-Bootloader unlocked
-Download the ROM
1) Extract rom zip and get payload.bin
2) Extract payload_drumper-win64
3) Put payload.bin in playload_input folder
4) Run payload_dumper.exe
5) Unlock the bootloader, back up your data first. Enable OEM Unlocking and USB debugging in the developer options and use the commands below to unlock on fastboot mode. You can lock the bootloader after installation, all your data will be erased when you unlock and lock the bootloader.
- fastboot oem unlock
- fastboot flashing unlock_critical
6) Extract OTAFlasher and copy all img to the OTAFlasher folder attached below and execute OTAFlasher.bat, wait to finish.
if you see "invalid sparse file format at header magi" when flashing system and vendor, ignore it and wait.
Tested by me, this installation method worked when I installed Android P, but I went back to Android using MIFlash, after installation I could not update my android anymore, so I used the above method to upgrade to the latest version.
Thanks to all those users who helped me with this.

Thanks but I'm not sure it will solve something, you will be up to date with November patch with the payload file instead of October with the original Xiaomi image file.
It's not normal if we restore firmware (original) it's not possible to update anymore that's make no sense.
Hope problem is on Xiaomi side.

But this update file is original from Xiaomi, the only difference is that they are hosted on Google servers, in addition, all updates are cumulative, it is not necessary to have a previous update to be able to install the latest stable version. The most recent update already has all the previous fixes, so it does not make sense to install the October update and then upgrade to the November update, with November already having all the fixes built in.

Hi
I am also have the same problem
Mia2 6/128. Global version
I am from Indonesia and using Indonesian SIM, but the mia2 is not indonesian waranty because they only sell the 4/64 version.
I bought it last week and when I turn on, I did not get any update. It is still using 5 june security patch
Is there anyone know that the problem is? Do I have to flash the firmware?

This is not acceptable Xioami - this is an android one phone, it should have seamless and fast updates.
I have seen similar problems all over the world but Xiaomi, is so quite about it. Next time I will buy phones from Nokia -
This is my biggest mistake, So disappointed

No way, a few weeks back I flashed .13 through MiFlash and received the OTA to .15. It must be something wrong with Xiaomi servers.

Perhaps it's linked to future Android Pie update

If you did not receive any updates after reinstalling rom, Xiaomi certainly removed the updates from the servers, so as soon as it makes new updates available you will receive them normally. If you want the November update, you will have to install the ROM with the November patch via MiFlash.

I had flash October firmware with mi flash tool, now i am not receiving ota updates it,it only says check for updates in settings and reloads. My bootloader is locked and recovery is stock still i am not able to download updates in phone settings. Therefore please tell me i can i get updates?:crying:

There are several reasons for Xiaomi to remove the OTA from the server, and this is normal, no need to worry or create threads for it, once an update is available again you can download.

Solution work for me
Guys I have also same problem, and the internet connection I use is my GSM SIM and home WiFi. For several days I cannot get the update.
But today I try to use another provider. I have another internet connection at home and it is connected to my pc using lan cable. So I activate my PC hot spot and bingo! My mia2 now can detect the update. It is downloading now
So I think you guys can try to use another provider then the one u usually use.
Try to use internet at mall or Cafe to trigger the update
I don't know why but this solve my problem
Hope this Will help

Rollback from Official Android 6.0 or BETA 6.0 to Android 5.01 (B190 or B170)

Since I was kind of not happy with the official Android 6.0 (B550) as it did have (again!) the so called "double-tap-keyboard" bug I've decided to make a rollback to B190 (as it does not have this bug - details about the bug here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8lite/general/double-tap-problem-keyboards-firmware-t3343287). Procedure to follow is the same I did with BETA so if you follow the below short guide you should get back (if you want) quite safely to Lollipop.
Please carefully follow the instructions. If you do not understand or are not sure what to do - DO NOT DO ANYTHING - just don't make downgrade.
It applies for sure to B524 BETA 6.0 and B550 Official 6.0 (available in Europe) :
1. Download : http://consumer.huawei.com/pl/suppo...0=Mobile Phones&key1=Smartphones&key2=ALE-L21
2. Extract 1.zip package and go to the first folder ( .\1\ALE-L21 Northeast Europe Channel Rollback upgrade package for ALE-L21C432B524\01 xbl(Downgrade Downgrade Packages) )
3. Copy folder "dload" to the internal memory (probably you may want to use microSD card however I used internal memory)
4. Make BACKUP!
5. Make sure you have backup!
6. Turn off the mobile.
7. Turn on the mobile by pressing all three keys : vol+, vol-, power button (device SHOULD NOT be connected to PC)
8. Wait untill transition package finishes (takes c/a 3 minutes).
9. You will end up with Build ALE-L21C432B300 (transition build). This should not be used on daily basis as it is ONLY for getting back to Lollipop (see official Huawei materials for details)
10. Delete the contents of "dload" folder in your phones internal memory.
11. Download B190 (or B170 - may also work with others but these two were tested) : http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=72585&version=256613&siteCode=de
11. Extract the downloaded archive - open it and copy the "dload" folder with B190 firmware (2,8GB uncompressed!) to the phones internal memory.
12. Turn off mobile.
13. Turn on the mobile by pressing again all three keys : vol+, vol-, power button (device SHOULD NOT be connected to PC)
14. May take couple of minutes (5-10) as the whole firmware gets installed.
15. The device will be automatically rebooted and all user-data will be removed.
16. Enjoy your downgraded firmware
You can install the official update if you be on build (all info is in the pdf in the zip of the update)

how to do this on version b525 ?
Downgrade to single build B052 by fastboot and after directly with the native updater install vendor< B170<B188 and B550(in a dload folder's at root on your internal or external sd)
You can directly jump to B550 since B170.B188.is only a ota update.
Only way without any trouble.
It's because B525 is single sim variant firmware.
This B550 official update is for dual.
But you can use this on your single and use the second sim if you want or ext-sd like now.
If you want help and links pm me.
Also unlock bootloader is need.

Yes, I know.
I thought that since I figured out that this "simple" procedure works fine also for Official B550 - anyone that would want to downgrade can follow.
Obviously - after the downgrade it is possible to make an upgrade again at any time.
I am from greece with branded vodafone 5.1.1 CO2B181 and i want to do the p8 lite dual sim and flash the android 6. Please tell me the method...thank u
hi can you help me to get link to b188? or b194 (dual sim.)
my previous version before b550 was b194, if i decide to roolback to b194 again, the roolback process is the same? just update the roolback upgrade and then donwgrade to b194 or b188?
i think i found something and correct me ir i wrong,, since b188 or 194 is an OTA package, my device needs to be running B170 i am right?

In order to make a downgrade you need to download the full (this 1,5GB+) firmware (be it B170 or B190 as I tested). Having a small OTA patch only would not be enough.
But anyway - once you flash B300 transition package on Android 6.0 and then flash B170 you should be able to get an OTA with the rest (if not - you can always flash newer ones through Local Update).
Ok, but do I need to apply rollback upgradr or I just need downgrade b170 .

If you are downgrading from Android 6.0, first you need to apply the B300 transition package and THEN B170 or B190 full package (see the howto in my first post for details).
Ok thanks for all support

You'll be needing a rollback package ( a transition rom) , then from there you can head to any lollipop build...
Download this rollback package
Now extract it and you'll get a folder named dload or just update.app file (~200mb - 300mb). If its later, put the update.app file in a folder named dload and copy it to the root of the sd card. Dial *#*#2846579#*#*, a context menu will appear and select SDCard Upgrade, the phone will restart and upgrade.
By doing this, you'll get into the transition rom.
After that download your required firmware (b190 or b170), extract that and do as you did earlier with the transition package..
Done

September security Patch

Hi everyone!
I just sideloaded the Pie update to my TA-1062 (Global Rom) of Nokia 7 Plus, and I faced many bugs, so I decided to rollback to Oreo, and everything is working perfect.
Now I am in oreo with August security Patch. But I have seen many peoble who recieved the september patch.
If a check for OTA my device says that I am up to date. So I want to Know if the september security patch is rolled out to everyone or just is still in process of roll out., because we are now in october so soon we should recive the october patch.
My problem is that I don't know if as I updated manually to pie, and then rolledback to oreo, this will give me problems with the OTA's.
Thanks in advanced.
I haven't seen people getting the September patch on Oreo. I thought the September patch came with the Pie update.

Made my phone uncertified! Beware
My phone is still on stable Android Oreo with August security patch. Every time I hit the check for update button, it tells me I am running the up to date version. I am getting impatient as we are well into October but stable Android Pie is still not been made available to this part of the world.

Off-topic to what you are asking - do you have Google Services (Play Store/Gmail App) working on you phone? if yes, what were your steps for making you TA-1062 Global?
Same here, I've the model TA-1055 and the last update I received is the August Security update. Now my phone said I'm already up to date
Hi,
As far as I know there are two variants of the TA-1062, one without Android One program wich is for China, and other one with the Android one program wich is for Taiwan.
Mine I bought it from Taiwan so it came with Android One, no needed to make any software change.

Hi for sure!
I just downloaded this full image of oreo https://android.googleapis.com/packa...7fa20de741.zip
Then I applied the normal method to sideload: adb sideload ota_file.zip
The update gave me the timestamp error so I just followed this steps from a previos post.
For checking active slot, go to fastboot mode and type fastboot getvar current-slot
For changing active slot, type fastboot --set-active=a or fastboot --set-active=b according to your current slot.
For going into fastboot mode, either press Power+Volume down or type adb reboot bootloader
Afther changing the Slot I was able to apply the update.
It is important to mention that my phone did not boot without wiping data! So I had to make a full wipe! But maybe it was bad luck of me!
Let me know if this helps you!

I am on Oreo September security patch. You won't get the update if Pie is available in your country. You need to sideload the package and it's very stable. Play store is Certified as well.

Note 8 from oreo to pie and back

Hello friends im courently on android oreo january security patch and its running flawlessly, in a couple of days android pie shoud arive and my question is before i update what shoud i check before update so that i wont have any problems if i dont like it to get it back to oreo (i only know how to use odin would that be inaf or should i check binary code to match before update because i think that it can't downgrade from a higher binery to a smaller or something else)? Im questioning this because i found on gsm arena that a lot of users having all sort of isues after update in their countries! Thank you for your time all the best! :good:
I would recommend that you visit a Cell Phone Store and check out a demo unit of the latest Samsung Flagship running Pie. Or install Pie via OTA on the shop's demo model of the Note 8. Then you can play around with it and see if you like it before deciding if you want to update. If you do any online banking via your mobile device. I would recommend install Pie onto your device anyway, as that will ensure that your device has all the latest patches for it.
There is no store that will alow me to update they demo unit? And curently the only way that i can update is to flash it true odin to some other country. But now my question is if my phones softver is currently hungary XEH oreo january sec.patch and i flash it with russian SER pie february sec.patch and dont like it because on my hungaryan there is not evan one operators bloatware app preinstalled and maybe on russian there is, can i revert? Tnx for your time ?

You could always do right there on the shop without them knowing. I have done that numerous times in the past.
If you install the stock Samsung OS and not a Russian Carrier version. You shouldn't get any Russian bloatware on your device.

In my country there is no chance for that ? and how to know if that russian SER is from operater with bloatware or not.? I had a luck to find this hungaryan XEH that is clean.
Btw my from the box was for dubai/saudi arabia and i didnt get monthly updates and phone wormed up near fingerprint sensor every time phone starts for a minut before cooling down and than working flawllesly so i flash it to hungaryan for that and got everything up to perfection?
Finished! I flashed with russian SER rom and is good! Not a single app in blootware! And i say good insted of perfect because warming when start up the phone is also ON on this version of rom but after a minute from start up everything is perfect! Pie on battery life is amazing and not a single glitch happy with update. Thumbs up!
Hello me again My question know is
I flashed my phone using odin from this version on picture (oreo 8.0 XEH-Hungarian 01.01.19 security patch)

THX for your time!
You would need to unlock the bootloader first before doing this. Which will trigger Knox.
How to do this 'unlock bootloader'?

You don't have to unlock bootloader to go back to oreo from pie!
You will just need to make sure your bootloader is the same version.
Pie firmware N950FXXS5DSB2
Oreo firmware N950FXXS5CSA2
Notice the "5" before DSB2 and CSA2 The 5 is the bootloader version!
As long as that number stays at 5 you can go back to oreo with a factory reset.

Just one question if i understand i can check numbers on sam mobile before update to keep remain 5 so that i can regularly do security paches until i turns to 6 and then stop updating, and still be able to get back to oreo? With that said i can update to march security update (second picture first firmware)?

The # before DSB2 in N950FXXS5DSB2 is the bootloader version.
Question for you:
So what bootloader is in this firmware N950FXXU4BSA2 and this one N950FXXS5CSA2?
You can go up in bootloader versions BUT you can NOT go down!

I just saw the March update info and I would hold off installing it for now. There is a line in there that says you can't downgrade due to the security policy.....
Wait until a brave person tries it and sees.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

Quote below from a Reddit thread, I haven't seen it myself. I updated to OB12 and haven't had any problems yet.
It seems that OnePlus has stopped the rollout for OB12. We're keeping the download links available, however, if you still choose to install it. Note: they likely stopped the rollout due to major issues, so please proceed with the utmost caution. The only reason we're keeping the download available is so that enthusiasts can try it out. But for the majority of our users, we recommend not updating.

unfortunately it is too late and I have already updated. Italian users did not write that it was necessary to remove the code before installing this beta 12 version. Now I have my device locked, I entered the code 20 times but it is wrong.
Besides, I have never had any problems and I have not backed up.

Important: regarding Open beta 12 for the Oneplus 7/7 pro
In some cases, it appears that OB12 has crucial problems related to device security, preventing you from unlocking your device. I recommend not installing this update until further notice.
What if I installed the update already?
If you installed the update, and everything is working. Do not reboot and wait for an update.
If you installed the update, and you cannot unlock your device. You can either wait for an update that fixes the issue, or wipe your device using recovery mode
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE BUG BUT DID UPDATE TO OB 12 DO NOT REBOOT THE DEVICE OR YOU MIGHT GET THE BUG AS WELL
Just found this regarding this update, update on your risk as mentioned above major issue with the update.

I'll wait for the update then, the problem is how to install it? The device is completely locked ... For now, thank you, and maybe it's better to write it in the update notes for other users

I update a full beta maybe that's why I didn't face locking problem... Don't know why other get locked?
Some broken features get working back like rotation screen taping... But still no one-handed mode.

To prevent from the discribed issues with open beta 12 - when you are flashing via twrp - after you booted into twrp, first thing to flash is dfe(disable force encryption), then open beta, then twrp installer; after that reboot to twrp, flash magisk, reboot to System, enjoy..
Anyone got a fast mirror?
Seems like official link gets stuck just as Oxygen Updater.
I updated to B12 through Oxygen updater (op7pro eu), and so far it looks great. I don't know was it on the changelog, but they did change the taskbar icons a bit. They looks bit thicker and more round. I like them how they look, but I fear they will likely cause a burn in easier than the old icons. I hope that's not the case.
Stock phone (no bootloader unlocked, no modifications) updated to OB12 with no problems, except the first boot that made me worry a bit.
Luckily I'm good with it (and I installed it before the rollouts was stopped).
Still need to check all the changes: until now everything is fine and smooth.

Hi guys i have a few questions:
1. If I have the Chinese NE2210 model of oneplus 10 pro, then I can use flash this global ROM to the phone?
2. Do I need to flash a different ROM if my OP10 pro is the 12gb/256gb compared to 8gb/128gb?
3. I heard you do not need to unlock bootloader to flash if you are using the official ROM given by OnePlus, is this true?
4. If I want to flash ROM, my current OS version needs to be any version lower than the desired OS version, whether on ColorOS or OxygenOS
5. If my stock os is COLOR OS and model NE2210 (Chinese model), and I flashed oxygen rom, can I revert back to the STOCK color os version OR any color OS version ? (in case the new flashed rom has bugs or issues on my device)
thank you
file in the link is NA not for Glo/Eu

You should just need to use the uninstall option in Magisk, hit restore images, install the OTA, then install to inactive slot and reboot in order to install the incremental OTA.

Incremental updates get the OS to exactly the same software as a full OTA of the same version so what you're saying doesn't make any sense.
