Relocking bootloader possible? - Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Questions & Answers

Hi,
I unlocked my bootloader half a year ago. I tried out different custom roms.
Now I want to go back to stock with locked bootloader, because camera isn´t "green" anymore with the latest PIE rom.
So I want to know if it is possible to relock the bootloader.
I tried it via fastboot (fastboot flashing lock) but everytime I get a message "FAILED (remote: unknown command)".
Is there a way to relock the bootloader?

As far as I know you can relock the bootloader using flashtool. Connect your device in fastboot mode and press the BLU button in flashtool. There should be an option to relock it

[Q] relock bootloader

This is my situation now:
My bootloader is 2.00.000(s-on),and I have got my bootloader unlocked from htcdev. but now,I want to use RUU to flash it back,I heard that need a locked(relocked) bootloader. So,I have to relock my bootloader. But it doesn't work when I input "fastboot oem lock" in fastboot. My phone just reboot right away when I entered that command, and it stayed unlocked. What should I do? How can i relock my bootloader? Waiting for you reply! thank you !

yes the bootloader is unloack but i had my phone rooted before then had to use pc companion to repair it, ive unlocked it again to be sure.
It seems driver problem.
I met the same problem as well as others yesterday, when I unlock, relock, re-unlock, root locked, root unlocked, flash recovery... for some crazy reason.
Try these:
Connect to flashtool (beta2 or beta4) with device power-on debug off, to see if flashtool can recognize it, and how much it can recognize.
Connect to flashtool with device power-on debug on , to see if flashtool can recognize it.
Connect to flashtool with device in fastboot mode, to see if flashtool can recognize it.
Connect to flashtool with device in flashmode, to see if flashtool can recognize it.
Flashtool may fix some driver error. I just succeeded after hours of bungling like that.
Good luck.

same issue...
Has anyone found a sure fix for the issue presented by the original post? I am having this issue and I have tried different drivers, ftf's, computers, adb/fastboot/versions and flashtool versions. I have unlocked and relocked. Is rooting status "unknown" normal after bootloader unlock? -Z Ultra 6833 EU
Still no solution?
With my C6603 it does not allow to write boot aswell. Any final solutions?
edit: solution found: bootloader was not unlocked

This is the wrong forum to ask this. This is the Xperia Z section.
Despite that, you need to unlock your bootloader to flash kernels via fastboot.

After months using stock everything I decided to flash CM11 yesterday, I'm doing exactly same step as I was doing when on 4.1/4.2 but it seems like it doesn't works, I'm not even sure that my BL is unlocked despite success message, when trying to reboot after unlock BL I had a bootloop and when trying to recover with Sony's Flashtool it says 'device not unlocked'. So I repaired with PCC and restarted from scratch but same results today.
I'm totally lost as like I said I was doing exactly same thing on the same PC.
Edit : Now my XZ doesn't even start! I have the red led blinking while connected with usb, power+ Vol+ doesn't do anything, no vibrations at all!
I was on latest sony official ROM
Edit2 : Tryied again to recover with Sony's Flashtool but it says "Mobile Locked" that's crazy!

You're welcome! The only thing I can think is if you want to install/rate 5 stars my app, would be greatly appreciated! ("Battery Aid" - I can't post the link apparently, "To prevent spam on the XDA forums, ALL new users prevented from posting outside links in their messages. fastboot remote command not allowed Xperia Z3
I unlocked my boatloader, but have no way to confirm that it is still unlocked. I'm running Windows 7. Fastboot used to work just fine before I unlocked my bootloader. FLASHTOOL works fine. But if I try to flash anything with fastboot I get the remote command error. Can't flash recovery. Can't flash boot image.

Look in the service menu to confirm if your bootloader is unlocked.
Enter *#*#7378423#*#* in the dialler, then look in Service info -> Configuration. It will say "Bootloader unlocked: Yes" if it's unlocked.

By installing FLASHTOOL by Sony I was instantly notified that my bootloader was not unlocked, even though I had already unlocked it three or four times without any errors. So I unlocked it again. Then fastboot flashed my images just fine.

unlock & root failed, then flash FTF, but now cannot fastboot boot recovery.img

First time success unlock & use TWRP,
then install SU.zip in TWRP but the phone cannot normal boot in;
therefore flash FTF, now can use the phone but cannot use TWRP again ( fastboot boot recovery.img).
Unlock status is unknown.
Can flash FTF.
What the driver is used in fastboot in Windows?
How can I know the phone is connecting correctly?
Any solution to use TWRP & root?

Unable to Relock Bootloader - Please Help!

So recently I tried rooting my xperia xp and it has failed horribly. I managed to unlock my bootloader and install twrp recovery but after doing so my phone could not reboot into system without running into a bootloop. I've tried to perform a software repair on my phone with the xperia companion, but as you know my bootloader is unlocked at the moment so that couldn't help me.
The issue with relocking here is that when I enter "./fastboot oem lock" on my terminal it replies as:
"FAILED (remote: unknown command)"
I really do not want to have to purchase a new phone just because of the bootloader, it'd be so so appreciated if somebody could help me out here
Also
I'd also like point out that I've also tried the other two commands I could find:
"./fastboot oem relock" and "./fastboot flashing lock"
There are two ways to relock bootloader:
1. Restore TA partition
2.Use Flashtool to relock
But if you encounter a bootloop after unlocking bootloader, try flash Magisk first.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium (single sim, G8141) owner here.
Is there really no way to relock the bootloader?
I don't have a TA backup. I have flashed a completely stock ROM with flashtool (Emma), I just want to relock a bootloader for a warranty claim (purely hardware, faulty USB connector, took me 20 minutes to get the computer to recognize it, at this point it won't even charge most of the time).
I have tried fastboot oem relock command even with the USB vendor ID that I also had to specify when unlocking it in the first place. New flashtool (Emma) does not seem to have any option to relock (or even unlock) BL, nor does it display any information about it. Old flashtool says TA read fail and that my bootloader cannot be relocked.
The boot screen tells me to please lock my bootloader so I'm assuming there must be a way, I just haven't found it yet.

Huawei P9 Stuck on boot loop. dload method can't be accessed, eRecovery does not work

Hello! I was flashing my phone and wanted to restore it to a stock firmware.
Looks like I bricked the phone.
I can't access the dload method, eRecovery does not work and bootload is locked too.
What can I do to recover it? Please I really need help
EDIT: What I was trying to flash was the stock package but I did it in the wrong order
Do u have bootloader unlock code? If have, unlock bootloader, go fastboot, flash stock recovery img, then try dload/ eRecovery to restore stock firmware

It's not only about Bootloader, is your FRP unlocked - boot to Fastboot and read both for FRP and Phone (Bootloader), are they locked or unlocked?
If FRP is unlocked (and Bootloader locked), you can use DC Unlocker with 4 Euros credit to buy Bootloader code and to unlock the Bootloader in Fastboot:
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-read-huawei-bootloader-unlock-code
But if FRP is locked, you couldn't unlock it because you cannot boot to System to Unlock OEM, hence you will have to use DC Phoenix with 15 Euros credit to unlock FRP & Bootloader and to unbrick the phone - read posts #4 to #8:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/help/bypass-frp-t3879402
PS: To boot into Fastboot - switch the phone off, connect by USB to PC, press and keep pressing Volume- and then boot by Power button
