This method works on Oxygen OS Oreo ( Stable 5 and beta 19/29 ) are confirmed to be working. This currently only works on rear camera and only if the subject is a human or a pet. Also HDR + works without any issues.
Steps -
1. Download this apk.

2. If you already have a conflicting app installed, first uunistall t then install this to be on the safe side.
3. Open the app, set the proper config and done.

I have [ROM]Groovy Android[Nightlies][Nougat][7.1.2] on my ZE551ML (Z00A), I tried PixelMaster v3 and v4:
I successfully flashed it from recovery, the app starts and takes good pictures with back camera but the front camera doesn't work instead: it takes green lines picture or it blocks completely the camera without taking the photo. The camera results to be blocked even for other apps so it need the system to be rebooted.
I just tried version 4.1, it gives the same result as above. The problem is still the front camera, after taking a green striped photo it blocks completely the camera..
UPDATE:
The main problem seems to be the "optimization" option in the settings menu: after disabling it, the front camera works well!
DOESN'T WORK:
- "GIF" mode on both cameras (no reboot needed)
- "Panorama" mode closes immediately the app (no reboot needed)
- "Super resolution" mode blocks irrevocably the camera even for other apps (reboot needed*)
- video recording slightly lags in respect to other apps
*soft reboot is enough

In Z00L with Groovy Android GA-N-v7.1.2-20181112-Z00L-Release, the front camera works seamlessly in all apps I've tested.

On Groovy my front camera works well with all the other apps, both switching from the back one and taking pictures.
Can you provide a changelog of the updates of PixelMaster app?
I will try version 4.2 asap and keep you posted

Always, in my works (rom) MIUI, published on Xda, I have always used Dolby, in combination with other tweaks.
Listen to the sound, more full-bodied, being able to change the tones for my tastes.
All this was fluid up to Oreo.
With Pie I followed many tutorials here, but for me ineffective on MIUI stock or Xiaomi.eu (the one I use most).
There are more weekly releases rom, which I use this series of packages, with my procedure that I later illustrate with excellent results.
Dolby doesn't crash, even after setting changes. and is perfectly grafted with Viper. The most surprising thing is that the sound is more full-bodied.
For me, amazing compared to the previous configurations used in the previous Android versions rom,
which I previously used in my roms, from android 4.4.4 onwards ...

Faq for noobs:
- If you want to have a good result, follow the instructions in Op-
- Before each installation of a new Miui rom version: first uninstall all Magisk modules / restart / complete uninstall Magisk
-After each installation of a new Miui rom installation: install the precise magisk version shown in the OP (will there be a reason?)
- Do not create a mess of various versions of magisk otherwise, you will only patch the kernel several times .... and DOLBY WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU !!!!! The ignorance of others is not the fault of the author .....
If you made the broth with magisk versions:
- Uninstall magisk
- Use you winrar or other .. and extract boot.img from the rom. copy the file to RN7. Restart in recovery select the boot.img file, after the target (boot)
restart in recovery select the magisk version recommended in OP.
- I noticed that often when installing magisk modules, using the miui file explorer something goes wrong ... I use MIXPLORER.APK
- My procedure was carried out using only the modules listed in OP. I don't know if other modules can create conflicts.
_ USE ONLY ORIGINAL KERNEL IF YOU WANT THAT DOLBY WORKS.
- You connect the brain to your hands to understand if Dolby is not working because of your inexperience or because of the author.
SMALL NOTES:
Obviously, as I wrote above, the perfectly working test was carried out using MIUI 11 VERSION 20.1.9 ONLY
Obviously we are talking about the Miui system with Android Q base-

Please when you post a problem, to specify which rom you have installed and version. In addition to the version of Magisk.

As already said, my house was flooded! but I'm sure it wasn't my package's fault here on xda! I've never had any problems, I never found influences between this tweaks and the software part of the camera .... in fact HDR has always worked for me.
p.s. and really strange that on 450 downloads (up to now) of this packages on average, you only have this problem. Did you think this before publishing here? -
Besides that, to be sure that everything was ok, I tested these packages for, many weekly releases, BEFORE I publish here..... I said the first thread :highfive:

simply because I use dolby to increase the emphasis of the sound. in fact I leave viper4, in default sound gain. Viper4 I only use instead for frequency cuts, and surround ..

Dolby doesn't work on my RN7 running MIUI.eu 9.8.22. JamesDSP and Viper work ok (with stuttering on the first second of every song, but having used viper for years I just gave up on trying to fix this). But Dolby doesn't process audio.
I tried to install Dolby Atmos but i can't run it. is there anybody who can success?

I use V4A, Dolby, Audio compatibility patch, and audio modification library.
It works on my redmi note 7, MIUI 11.0.2.0
Dolby and V4A both work, JDSP crashed... But I only use first two anyway

It doesn't work on Lineage OS 16 on my rn7 unfortunately, before I had Miui 10 global and it did work. Pity
EDIT2: Hmm i did get it to work:
Cleared all sound mods. Boot to recovery flash Viper4android legacy 4.4, flash Dolby Digital Unity for Pie(latest, see their dedicated forum on xda) and lastly flash Audio Modification Library 2.4 (it should say patching viper and dolby) and then reboot.
Dolby Digital crashes out after changing a setting but then just restart the app and the setting change is there. And it works !

Did anyone try Redmi Note 9 Pro's GCam mod and its XML file to check if it working fine in M2 Pro?
I am planning to get either Note 9 Pro or M2 Pro. M2 Pro seems better out of the box (33W charger and cheaper) but I am worried about the development.
If Note 9 Pro's apks and ROMS be used for M2 Pro as well, I'd jump in for M2 Pro.

I uninstalled the APK, installed again and used the XML and it works. (Tested it now) There maybe some issue on your end.

Are you using Poco M2 Pro (gram)?
Try reinstalling the app and updating the XML again.

Hello, Today I sucessfully port Oxygen OS from OnePlus 6T (ErfanGSIs) for this beautyfull device.
Its based on Android 10 with preinstalled Magisk(because Magisk help me fixing some stuff).
Its Fox/Twrp recovery backup and have over 5GB.(download size is 1.7gb because not every one have fast internet)
Its running on MengT kernel R1.8.0.
What works:
everything except : WiFi display (Not tested yet because I forgot set in overlay "<bool name="wifi_display_enable">true<bool/>" )
Bluetooth Audio (bluetooth works but if you connect headphones or bt speaker audio not work)
Always On Display (just black screen without clock or battery percentage)
Included Apps: Open Camera, YT, Gmail, Google photos, OnePlus Aplications, and some other stuff....
Some Answers for recently asked questions:
Magisk need sets up please download......... just ignore it click cancel and you get fully working super user
Module did not installed update magisk...... Magisk version is 19.3 because this is only version to make bootable this port.
Open Camera has not permissions..... you must update from Play Store.
If some oneplus apps didnt open or open not correctly you must set theme to colorfull (because overlays)
If you want dark mode set theme colorfull and then go to developer options to enable "override-dark mode".
WARNING
DO NOT UPDATE MAGISK because you get bootloop OR update if you known some working versions on erfan GSIs(and please share me).

well i didnt but I go make it plz wait (I must restore this port because i reflashed stock miui because iam using bt headphones every day but on this rom is not work:crying

:lockscreen camera shortcut didnt wok because there is not OnePlus camera

:in this rom is my own port of stock xiaomi music
:all these overlays and fixes are edited by apk editor pro v1.9.6
how to flash :
open download link (its mega.nz)
open folder "10"
download folder cust,persist,tz patch for OxygenOs
after that download the recovery backup OxygenOs_lavender_Q***********.zip
format system vendor data
flash tz.mbn.img
flash cust.img
flash persist.img
after that put the backup of the rom in to /"internal storage or sdcard"/"Fox or TWRP"/BACKUPS/"serial number"/
restore the backup
wipe cache/dalvik
reboot
frirst boot is litle bit longer
after that setup your device and all of the stuff

I'm sorry to answer so late. This rom is prerooted and updates are not planned.

I think you should make a flashable zip out of this gsi, it's way more efficient to flash than a backup
In rooted os UPI apps does not work.

Yes is rooted via magisk, and what is UPI apps? Because I didnt heard about it.
