Is there a way to enable fast charging on A6+? Snapdragon 450 does support quick charge 3.0 but it seems like samsung has disabled it.

how to enable and disable fast charging mode on SM-N9208

please help me
I can't find fast charging on/off on my N5 sm-n9208.
accessories features setting also lost on setting .
user manual guide include accessories features but my N5 lost
I think there is no option for enabling/disabling fast charging in Note5. You are forced to use fast charging.

hi ,
yes , i agree with @TAEL post above
i also found no option to "change " fast charging ...but ........
I had a experience where my fast charging just stopped "?"
I took/swopped my cable/ power cord with my old Note4 cable and fast charging was back again ! Also you can change charger plugs around ( eg Adaptive fast charging and a plain Samsung charger plug )
I thought about issue and came to a conclusion ,that surely consistent fast charging, cannot be good for battery and may shorten battery life ???? I now alternate with my 2 x Samsung cables/plugs .If i want fast charging i use my Note 4 cable/plugs (working ), vice versa.
If i want normal charging i use the other cable /plug .
Yes, i know these are a work around,
but surely, it's better than having no option in Note 5 battery settings ,regarding fast charging ??
good luck
As said, N5 no longer has the option to disable fast charging (cable). It does however have the option to disable fast charging for wireless charging. The option will appear once you use a fast wireless charger.
after I test with wireless fast changer I reply
thz
If you don't want to use Fast Charging.... don't use a Fast Charger.... simple. There's no option to disable it, but if you're not using a fast charger, then it won't fast charge.
Why My phone takes too long to charge.
You can find the option to fast/normal charge in the battery section.

Will a qualcomm 3.0 charge fast charge s7 edge?

I know the s7 edge is only compatible with the qualcomm 2.0 speeds but if i got a qualcomm 3.0 car charger, would it still work?

Yes, but as Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, they are backwards compatible.
Yes, as said above, it will charge but at 2.0 speed. Which is a lot quicker than normal charging, but not as quick as 3.0.
I bought a portable battery/charger that supports qualcomm 3.0 quick charge, and when I plugged in my s7 edge into the quick charge port, it said it will take 4+h to charge fully (from 42% battery). I switched to the normal USB port, and then it said it is 1+h left to fully charge. Wtf?

I have a qc charger 3,0 when I plug it in it worksat 2,0 speeds. I guess there is an problem with the handshake on your charger since it reverts to 0,5mah (that is the normal usb port from a laptop charging capacity)

Super charge and cable not genuine

Hello. I tried charger qc 3.0 but doesn't work at speed fast... I tried the genuine charger with a tested cable hi speed 3.0 and doesn't work at speed... Can anyone suggest a charger and a cable tested working lower yhan 10 dollars shipped??? Its incredible this price difference with qc that i bought both 3 dollars
Use original cable and charger ro charge at high speed... Other cables or chargers don't work and can even damage your phone..
(for example my umi fast charger usb C..
charges at 5+9+12volts)
With a cheap price always comes cheap quality.
QC 3/4 are not built for the Mate 10 series, they are built for QC compatible devices, while it will still charge the phone, probably at slightly increased speeds - you won't get the full power out of it as, its not meant to be used on a Fast charge phone (Fast charge / SuperCharge whatever Huawei call it)
Let me share something which I've found out recently. If you use a QC charger for eg. Xiaomi Type C Mi Power bank Pro which support QC 3.0 charging, my Mate 10 will display "Fast Charging" which is definitely faster than normal "Charging". If you use the Huawei Supercharge AP09S Power bank, it will charge at the max rate "Super Charging"
Huawei Supercharge is a dedicated technology just like qualcomm quickcharge. For it to work you need the dedicated hardware.
Most important: Huawei Supercharge phone and Huawei Supercharge power brick. Since supercharge features up to 5A current you will need a type c cable that supports 5A. Then you are good to go.
The Huawei phone of course supports standard USB protocols like 5V2A etc. But that's not fast.
Older Huawei/honor phones support Huawei quickcharge (what they used before supercharge) which is 9V2A. I think the mate 10 supports that too.
From my experience though the phone displays "charging" when connected to PC via USB. "Quickcharge" when connected to normal wall charger. "Supercharge" when connected to supercharge wallcharger (or supercharge car charger or supercharge Powerbank) via 5A (ampere) USB cable.

Is turbo charge and quick charge diff ?

I have an mi Power bank 2i which has fast charged enabled but when I connect it to charge my Moto one power ....turbo charge dose not get activated ....anyone facing the same problem?
Brother I have Qualcomm quick charger 3.o it support Motorola one power for turbo charge. means quick charge and turbo charge are same. I have both and have same charging speed.
Power bank don't have quick charge 3.o so please don't expect turbo charge from it
I have Mi 20000mAH Li-Polymer Power Bank 2i which supports single-port Quick Charge 3.0.
When I plug my MOP, it shows turbocharging sign.
moto one power turbo charge is nothing but fancy name given to qualcom quick charge 3.0. if you plug in any certified qualcom quick charge 3.0 adapters, power bank or car chargers it say turbo charge.
I have 18W Qualcomm quick charger 3.0 it's supported or not.

S8+ pie fast wireless charging

Ok I have these 2 fast wireless chargers that worked previously before updates. They are not Samsung and have their own power supply. They did fast charger fine but now with the update it seems fast wireless charging is hidden under an acessories menu under advanced features. Well on my Galaxy s8 plus from T-Mobile.. there is no acessories menu.
So I can't enable it.. and it seems these chargers are not making it appear.. and again I swear they are capable of of charging this phone.
So I need some back door method of enabling fast wireless charging or the acessories menu. Perhaps through adb.
Anyone got any ideas?
I have S8+ with tmobile and its there.
Maybe do I wipe possibly?
But yeah it's in accessories and mine is enabled. Sounds like a faulty update?
And my wireless charger is fast charging but not as fast as wired fast charging.

Yea I think that for some reason the 3rd party wireless charger is not kicking in the option after this update. As before it was already enabled and working fine. I know the charger does indeed fast wireless charge this phone as it has all the standards and has done so in the past.. probably the only way for me to get around this is to use someone else's official Samsung fast charger to enable the accessories setting
