I purchased a used tablet off ebay. It is frp locked. The seller said he would refund me my money or give me a partial refund to get it unlocked. I am looking for suggestions on what to use to unlock.
I looked at the logs and took some pics of them. Hopefully they will tell you what version and security patch is installed. I get to the talkback screen. When click on the privacy policy I get the your request has been declined for security reasons.
I haven't messed with rooting or customising android since 2.0 or so. So I am way out of the game.
Suggestion?

You should downgrade to build ended with PH3, otherwise there is no way to use Talkback to open Chrome.
I don't know what you did, but Volume Up + Home + Power will open Recovery Mode where you can see the build number at the top.
With the volume up power home screen there is a option to see logs also. I will downgrade and see what happens

If you already know how to use Talk Back to reach Privacy Policy, then no problem to unlock FRP by downgrade the firmware.
They key of FRP unlock is to know what method to use with certain build or OS, there is no key for every lock, that's main point most users are missing when post a solution online, so are the ones are watching or reading.
I was not sure if the firmware I was on was able to unlock. After reading a lot, I found it easiest to downgrade the firmware. Works like a charm.

So I was just playing with my phone when the screen was off and I found this feature accidentally. Without pressing any buttons, when I swipe up from bottom middle of the screen, the phone wakes up and goes directly to the Samsung Pay app. I thought it might be reading my fingerprints from home button to wake the device up. So I carefully just touched the screen to swipe up and it still wakes up the phone!!
Does this mean that we have double-tap-to-wake-up the phone feature just like the Motorola phones? I could not find any settings for this but this always works. I am not sure if it has any impacts on battery but i do not have a choice to turn it on or off anyway. I can consistently get this to work. Is these anything that I am missing here?
Note that i have No Screen Lock setup and enabled Samsung Pay.
This is a feature of the Samsung pay app itself. It allows you to pay with your phone very quickly.

Ok, I get that part, but this means that the hardware needs to support it as well to wake the phone just by the swiping the screen. So if the hardware supports it, other apps can leverage this and build similar features too to wake up the phone just like motorol tap to wake. Right?
I bought a Note 5 from my work yesterday (I work at rent a center, it was a charged off and recovered stolen phone) Went to flash a stock rom on it so I could access developer options and it failed to the point I have to system recovery triangle.
I can find plenty of SM-n920c form wares and am pretty sure I got the wrong one. Only numbers I have on hand are:
N920CXXU2BPBA any ideas as to the csc code from that?
Keis and Smart Switch say it can't be recognized so they have been no help as well

Your awesome. I'll find it and download when I get home from work
That worked! Thanks so much
To make a long story short, a relative bought a phone off ebay that was in Retail/Demo mode and I was tasked with trying to get it out of that state by flashing a different stock ROM onto it. I used to have absolutely no issue before with older phones, but, after a few softboots with no success, I've eventually ended up reaching this far in nuking the phone, and even the IMEI in download mode is showing a 0 (though I'm not sure if that wasn't always like that).
From what I've seen the phone is certainly the Snapdragon variant, and yet there was no way to activate OEM unlocking within the phone. I know this situation is rather insane and I could be SOL but here's to hoping someone could point me in a direction to help fix this thing. I haven't tried flashing the unofficial TWRP in fear that it's going to screw over my recovery (in which I forgot to mention it works perfectly fine at the moment). Alongside with the security error, I have the secure check fail with modem displaying as well. Is there a certain ROM version that might help? I've attached a screenshot that I took right before I fell into the abyss, so hopefully that'll help (unless you can't see it out of me being new). Thanks for any replies in advance.

I had my original ROG Phone 3 sent in for a warranty repair, they were unable to fix the issue so they sent me a new one. The fingerprint setup is skipping over where I actually touch the scanner to add a fingerprint. I have included a couple screenshots to show the screens I'm seeing when trying to add a fingerprint and some other relevant info, I am on android 10. Anyone know what's going on? I really don't want to send the phone into Asus as my first experience was insanely horrible. They tried to make me pay for warranty work then they broke my phone trying to fix it and wanted to send me the broken phone back when I refused bto pay for warranty work. Then they tried to send me a 12g model when I paid for the 16g. After 2.5 months of all these issues I finally got a new (or refurbished idk) 16g model, but fingerprint is jacked up. I wasn't able to find anything by searching but I may have been using the search feature incorrectly. Searching on Google lead me to a few different Asus help chats that seemed to always lead to manually installing the fingerprint software update somehow or factory resetting the phone. I have factory reset the phone already. Here's a link to the Asus ZenTalk thread I posted too.

For anyone that is watching this. I just found out from someone on the Asus ZenTalk forum that you can type ".12345+=" into the stock calculator app. That opens up a feature that tests different hardware within the phone. I tested the fingerprint scanner this way and it seems to be working, so hopefully it's just a software bug that gets fixed with future updates.

There was a thread... https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...d-expired-certificate-whats-next-lol.4403393/
In short, Samsung's server https://rmm.samsung.com that does unlocking has expired certificate (four months ago), so now noone can unlock it that way. Only two options are to wait for Samsung to update certificate, or go to some repair service — they might have some app that can unlock RMM (these have rather expensive licenses).

Samsung probably doesn't care anymore
