Anyone having issues with Amazon Prime playing HDR or simply HD content...it tells me that my device isn't compatible and will only show in SD format.

Is there a way to play HD video (720p) on the Nexus One? I have tried some apps off the Market to play these videos but it comes up laggy. The file I was trying to play was an .mp4 file. The default Video app can't play mp4 files and the Market apps lag when playing it. Anyone successfully have HD video playing without lag??? Also, is there a recommended format/codec for the Nexus One?
It's not the resolution of the video per se, but rather the bit-rate that would be causing playback to lag. Bear in mind that 720 is unnecessary anyway as the phone is effectively 480 in landscape.
Use the free software Handbrake to re-encode to a more appropriate bit-rate and resolution.
Thanks. I will use FormatFactory to lower the nitrate.
I'm also a fan of Half Life 2 too.

Yes, It is possible to play 720p videos on nexus on. Actually its chipset supports. you can use mxplayer, it's my favorite player; also, you should convert your video to .mp4 and use H/W decoder. H/W decoder is not supported for other formats like flv.
Hi there,
I want to review my go pro Videos (shot in 2,7k resolution) while on the go but cant playback them on my fire tablet using different players like VLC and that one from go pro itself.
My fire 5th gen tablet has CM12 installed.
The go pro videos are shot im 2,7k (i.e. one setting below 4k but one setting above full hd)
The micro SD card of the go pro is inserted into the the tablet.
No player can play the Videos back. VLC and go pro android App only play the sound while occasionally showing a still.
Any ideas? Just want to sort some Bad Videos out. No More
Thanks

Has anyone noticed hdr is gone from the netflix app after updated to android pie? I can see youtube in hdr and it has level 1, but netflix says it can only show hd version of hdr movies, my tv displays the same movies in hdr
any clues on how to fix it?
why is it that x2 pro can screencast everything but Netflix movie?
the movie is black blank video
only subtitle of the movie appears on tv
anyone has this issue? how to resolve?
tried using several casting devices, all failed
Facing the same issue. No solutions found yet
I think that Netflix doesn't let you screencast
All those apps like Netflix, Prime, NHK, Jio Cinema have protected screen and cannot normal cast to screen (Miracast/Screen Mirroring).
Prime can cast to prime supported devices.
And all can cast to Chromecast only using the Google home app.
