I got myself into a bootloop by being an idiot.
I attempted to flash Lineage OS from the openkirin website using fastboot and something went wrong putting me into a bootloop.
Now i want to go back to stock.
I can still get into TWRP as well as Fastboot mode (bootloader and FRP unlocked).
The problem is i can't seem to find the stock rom for my phone (VTR-L29C738B150).
I tried to use the firmware finder but the links seem to be 404'd for my version of FULLOTA.
Any ideas on how i can recover my phone?
I tried everything outside of paid services so far.
Edit: I have also attempted erecovery however it fails.
just flash twrp backup (you shurely made before you started flashing lineage Os). Just kidding, Iam sure you didnt do any backup....
What OS version you were on before flashing Lineage OS? You can try to flash fROM future trough TWRP. But ith ase to be the one of your last OS versions (Nougat or allready Oreo?)
Alternatively you can use HurUpdater: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279

1-Hey this is the main reason Huawei stoped to give bootloader unlock codes.
2-If you have TWRP backup, just restore it and you should be good to go.
3-To help you i have to know what Os you were on before this happend and what did you did that you stuck on bootscreen.

I watch all the forum ... and nothing .... It strikes me the idea that solving this problem can handle only champion. I am not and I tried on all methods.
Why XDA no solution ??? XDA's largest community of Android developers I know. There must be a solution, and I want to find him here!
Help if you can, even God
thanks
at least tell us, what seems to be a problem? As for now, it sounds like you're going to pay a milion-dollars for someone who will hardbrick your bootloader. Am I right? Send it to me, I'll hardbrick with my hammer for that cash.
I think his problem is that is Bootloader IS hardbricked and NOT that he wants it hardbricked.. BTW I have a similar problem. I installed Android 6.0 on my xt1068 using The Indian soak test update. I then decided I wanted to downgrade back to 5.0.2 and my phone is now dead completely... So yeah an answer would be nice here. Thanks
One should try to install only system, recovery, radio partiotions.
Every update Moto updates fs structure, changes bootloader and radio. These are critical and should not be installed.

More like they shouldn't be downgraded.

my current bootloader is 48.86 i used xt1069 's marshmallow previously
I FLASHED XT1068_TITAN_RETAILDSDS_5.0.2_LXB22.99-16.3_Easy_Installer.zip ON BOOTLOADER 48.86 VIA FASTBOOT IT GIVES ME MSG IN PINK ( version downgrade for _gpt and version downgrade for tz) and rest is worked fine it successfully booted into the stock 5.0.2 after that i updated soak test update of 6.0 by coping blurred version into sd card and checking it by going into settings >about phones >system updates

I've bricked my boot loader by downgrading and have taken it in for repair to my local cellphone repair guy and he told me it's dead and unfix-able. I was told to go to Motorola to get them to fix it except THERE is no Motorola service at all for South Africa... So I'm screwed?
Hi guys I got this old lg d415 from my cousin and Wana install some roms on it since I'm a noob on this device I need some help regarding what to do unlock bootloader or what .... I see that d415 has a unlocked bootloader or no ?
Its bootloader is already unlocked just root and flash twrp. kingroot to root and flashify to flash the recovery seem easiest. *Just make sure to update to LP beforehand. here's a link for recovery. You may be able to get a more updated version of the recovery off the twrp site. Also I suggest using the most recent lineage build. lineage

Ypu wrong you have to unlock before flashing unless you are planning on bricking your device. You first have to root it and then flash laf with zeros u lock bootlosder, flash recocery , thenflash rom
Please don't tell people stuff you don't know about. The T-Mobile variant comes with its bootloader already unlocked. Also there is no laf to mess with.

Ok, didnt know
I accidentaly wiped the os while trying to do a factory reset in twrp.
Can somebody give me a os for the PN07100 model and instructions on how to install it ? It can be any custom rom, i just need one and I don't find the stock one online...
I am a noob and i need help with this. Thank you!!
PS: The phone is sometimes recognised in fastboot, so I don't think it's completely bricked.

So I tried FunkyHuawei to downgrade from pie beta to official. Now i'm bricked totally. Only getting into fastboot and are not unlocked. My guess is i'm screwed. Can't access Erecovery neither. Stupidity pays it price.
Any ideas at all? Cant really do anything, and the screen is all black too.

What model do you have (rebranded or not) , what firmware did you choose on funky site?
If you still can boot into fastboot mode funky should be able to recover it.

This thing remains mystery to me.
I have literally the same model, and I've downgraded from Pie (both beta and stable 163) using the same method and firmware several times. I've never had any issues. In the changelog for rollback firmware you've chosen you can find:
"1. Please make sure you are currently using the official version of Huawei EMUI, and that no unofficial updates have been installed. Otherwise, there will be risk of an unsuccessful rollback, and an unknown error may occur. 2. Make sure that the current version has not been unlocked or rooted. "
But since you've never fiddled with your handset, never unlocked your bootloader this warning shouldn't apply to you.
Have you tried flashing pie again via OTG?
I would but i cant access recovery. I mean the otg is ready to go..i tried several firmware
from funky with same error when flashing recovery. I usually solve bricks but this got me :-\
How about extracting the erecovery source from the update package and try installing erecovery via fastboot instead of hisuite?

My case is similar. I downgraded from B195 to rollback B161. Now I am literally doomed. No erecovery, no huawei logo, just plain black fastboot screen. My bootlodaer is unlocked and I'm unable to relock it. Huawei is denying service, is there any way to revive my black dead phone???
twrp.img gets flashed succesfully but doesnt boot into it.
Hi All,
As part of me unlocking the bootloader via the 9008 method, I somehow managed to hsoe both my reocvery and system images. Now trying to boot either of them will result in a kernel crash (in very very dim text). Barely readable, if at all. I had also nuked laf_a and laf_b, which means I cannot enter Download mode either!
The good news is I can get to the v35 bootloader and it does show that the active slot is A, and fastboot is working.
So in summary, I'd like to be able to boot a system image, preferably 9.0 Pie. I also would "like" to get TWRP installed so I can dink around with LineageOS.
When I try to boot the TWRP.img from fastboot I also get a kernel crash right after the "device cant be checked for corruption" warning.
Can someone please help me unbrick this?
My current hope is to convert a Verizon KDZ (there are no AT&T KDZ's) into .bin format, and then extract the various .img files and try to flash them one-by-one in fastboot.

If you are using SGMarkus' TWRP it is for Pie and not compatible with Oreo. That is probably why you can't boot off of it. Even installing it wouldn't work as long as you're on Oreo. Sorry I didn't catch that earlier...

Yeah it was a catch 22. For some reason my phone (before any modding of ANY kind) would not get any OTA to get it up to Pie. I made the mistake of unlocking the bootloader and trying TWRP, and now i'm hosed!
Any help (or perhaps if someone has backed up oreo partitions s/he would be willing to share) would be GREATLY appreciated!

Yeah V35 bootloader (Oreo) clashes with TWRP (pie and Q) so either restore stock Oreo boot.img or replace V35 bootloader with the V40 one....

I tried replacing the v35 bootloader with the pie-based one in SGMarkus' thread. Made no difference. Unfortunately I don't know how to get the "Stock" Oreo V40 bootloader.
