How to run multiple App on one Pi? - Raspberry Pi Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Very new to this whole raspberry pi thing.
Long story short, I recently bought a pi zero w and manage to install pi-hole and config my home network to go through it when I browse the net.
This got me very excited so I start looking into more pi projects.
The next thing I want to do is try to install Android TV box into the same raspberry pi. I was wondering if the zero w is powerful enough to run both pi hole and android at the same time or do I need to order another one?
If it is powerful enough, I am currently running Pi Hole off Raspbian, is it possible/how to run both at the same time?
I found a few guides on how to install android tv but cant get my head around running both at the same time.
Thanks:good:

create a media server with raspberry pi, external hdd, and video games consoles?

Hey guys, getting into getting a home media server setup and need help. Currently I want to keep this as cheep as possible. I want to take a 3TB external HDD found here, connect it to a raspberry pi with wifi found here, and use it to connect the HDD to the raspberry pi, and my ubuntu/windows laptop as a media center. I want to be able to use my HDD for anything and everything I want to do on my laptop, but also have a partition plugged into the raspberry pi, with all my movies and music on it to stream around my house. I want to be able to rip a DVD, or buy an MP4, copy it to that folder, turn off my computer, and still be able to use the raspberry pi as the media server. Then I want to be able to play everything on the raspberry pi on my PS3, Xbox 360, unlocked wii, rooted android tablets/phones, and other computer on my local internet connection. I know the raspberry pi supports a XBMC setup, and also linux. Is there a way to setup it up like that with XBMC, and connect to all my devices, or a better software approach? I chose the pi for its price, and its options to change software for many purposes, and extra accessories for the price. Currently I have 1 xbox 360 elite, PS3 250GB, a unlocked/hacked wii, and a stock wii (able to mod also) I want to stream to, and android devices would be a plus, especially if away from home. I get 25MB/s internet download speeds, but I have a 300MB/S dual band motorola surfboard router. Would it be possible to set this all up how I want? The consoles are already setup to all the TVs, and I have experience tinkering with software. I want to keep this under $100 if possible (HDD is already ordered), since I already have all the consoles and TVs.
This would be awesome.
I'm currently trying to do just this. I've not found much help online for this. Any luck so far?

Screen Mirroring to Raspberry

So I've searched and want to make sure I'm not missing something. I'm looking to put my Raspberry Pi 3 in my car as a supplement/media to the infotainment center. Im connecting it with the CRUX AVITY interfacing setup. My main question or problem is that I want to be able to screen mirror my phone, on occasion, to the RPi (Google maps for example is much better than my on board nav unit). Is there a way to do this with the WiFi chip on the Raspberry Pi 3? Do I need a dongle? What is the current solution most people are using in this scenario? I'm on a Galaxy S8+.
Thanks in advance.

Raspberry Pi smart doorbell -- Help

Hi guys! , I saw on youtube and on vibell.org, a solution for a raspberry pi based smart doorbell.
Currently, i own the first raspberry pi (RASPBERRY P1 MODEL B), a usb 2.0 camera, a breadboard, some buttons and leds.
I wan't to do the project has shown on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRZ6QxxXRdI , the thing is that this project is made with the raspberry pi camera module (that i don't own), and i want to use a usb 2.0 camera instead, in this project he also uses a usb sound card that i don't understand why, i would want do replace that usb sound card with the soldered one on the raspberry pi
But i don't know how
I'm a beginner with the raspberry pi and programming.
Hope you can help me !
By the way the site is : vibell.org
Waiting for answer!

Collect data from sensors and show on the android app, is it possible?

Hello guys!
I have a raspberry PI 3 (model b) with all necessary accessories and different sensors such as (DHT11, BMP 180, MQ-2 etc.)
So far I have managed to install Raspbian OS and log-in to PI using Putty via Wi-Fi (as I don't have external screen)
1. Is it possible to connect many sensors let's say about 3 to 5 to a single breadboard connected with raspberry PI 3?
2. Once the sensors are added successfully is it possible to collect and send data to the android app? Let's say if I create a very simple looking android app and then I can see the temperature directly from the sensor on phone?
I know there are different IoT platforms that allow sharing data in the cloud, but I want to build everything from scratch.
I am a beginner on this, so I am still studying and reading but would appreciate if someone could give me some guidance where to start.
Regards
you can use and adruino and a bluetooth module to connect it to a raspberry pi and build an app to receive and display the data from the sensors. building one myself for a project.
U can do something like this with raspberry pi + arduino
https://github.com/Ayush1325/SmartHomeModel
Raspberry pi and arduino are connected via a simple serial usb cable that comes with arduino.
It uses PubNub as the server and arduino and Android phone are connected to internet.
why not just RDP or use JuiceSSH for viewing remotely

Pi3 Locks up regularly

Hi All,
I'm not overly experienced with my pi but looking for some support and hopefully will get better with more use.
I have a Raspberry Pi 3 with Raspberry Pi OS (64 bit), freshly flashed a couple weeks ago. It is running headless, with a wired ethernet connection.
I have installed Portainer and Docker with three different containers. (qBittorrent, Gluten, Zwave2mqtt)
There is a an Aeotec Zwave USB stick installed.
The pi becomes unresponsive every day or every other day. No ability to SSH in.
Historically, the pi worked fine with a similar (though not exact) setup, including the USB stick. This was with the 32bit version of the OS, not using portainer and only the Zwave2mqtt as a docker image.
Would be glad to get log files, but I haven't been able to figure out which log files I need to pull to help diagnose this problem. Where do I start with this kind of troubleshooting?
Thanks!
