Hi Friends,
I really need help about IMEI removed.This is my problem;
I bought a Mi Max 2 from xxx shop in turkey. But in turkey last year there wasnt any global mi store.(Now there is)
I used this phone 1 year and after that i wiped all data and IMEI deleted on phone. As i understand they used other phone's IMEI for this phone and i send phone where i bought .They couldnt fix this issue. As i understand problem is they did unlock process with another MIUI account and nobody knows this account now.I cant use this phone now without IMEI.
How can i use my phone with new IMEI again?
main problem is they used mi account for bootloader and i cant use one more, system doestn recognise mine,so i cant proceed
ty but how can i solve this issue?
I don't understand your problem, I think your imei is not removed, you just can't login in a new xiaomi account because your phone is locked. If is that the case you should unlock the bootloader and root and than change the imei number to something else.

Help!
I bought a O2X and didn't know he was blocked. When attempting to unlock the following message appeared:
"This phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked"
Can anyone help me? He came blocked by the operator Movistar.
Tks
Return it and ask for a refund?
Sent using gum and some sticks just as McGyver would
Change sim card, turn on device while holding volume down key, do a factory reset, flash a baseband which also does a factory reset.
Those are my tips.
it seems that the carrier locked it by imei... probably the phone was stolen from someone and the person "participate?!" it to the carrier / police...
solution? bring it to someone with an box and change the imei or clean it. i heard about some android phones when flashing some cooked rom they lost the imei but i dont know if that happend with p990..
Yeap... unintended change of imei does happen specifically when using CM roms, there is even a tutorial somewhere in the forum here on how to restore your original imei for o2x. So instead of restoring to original imei...you can use same technique to change the imei. Use the search function.
Hi,
I've bought a new Xiaomi Mi3... it came with MiuiV6 installed, but it doesnt have IMEI!!
The IMEI on the back of it is OK, the phone is an original Xiaomi Mi3... i belive that the seller (ibuygou.com) made a fail flash of Miui V6 and the Imei was lost in the process...
I've tried a hard reset and nothing... i've flashed the lastest Fastboot via MiFlash.... and the lastest 5.2.13 Multilang ROM... i had problems with Wi-Fi connection and after this they were resolved... But the SIm recognition (does not recognizes it) and the IMEI Loss is still happening...
Anyone can help me?!? ibuygou.com is on spring festival hollidays
Via QPST i've downloaded the 00000000_0.qcn File... but once i don t know what is the bricked/crashed IMEI how can i change the Hex code for the correct IMEI?! is there any way to find out what Hex code i have to replace?!? so i can restore the 00000000_0.qcn File with the correct IMEI?!
Regards
Hugo

Darkmed repair imei :good:
Hi everyone,
Hope you can help me solve this, cuz I'm way out of my knowledge..
My phone broke the lcd and was out of action for a few months.. After I finally got a replacement screen, the phone wasn't working and said IMEI unknown, I've tried to flash a few roms via recovery but nothing. So I just went crazy and flashed it via kies. It worked, the imei appeared but the phone was locked again..
Back to the shelf a few weeks until I could afford to pay for unlock.. When I picked it up, it was unknown IMEI again and the guy at the shop basically told me he couldn't help.
Was he right? I refuse to believe I can't recover the phone.. Can you please help?
Thanks!
Anyone?
Are you sure is that phone imei is not blocked, because provider may block if it is stolen reported.
I had the same problem after changing display IMEI unknown
But somehow it was saved from 'unknown IMEI' I don't know how.
restored efs from previous backup (twrp & philz recovery)
- no imei
I flashed stock
- no IMEI
asop
- no imei
tried different modems
again stock
- suddenly its worked
(some users reported flashing different modems worked for them)
Yes I'm sure imei is not blocked by network. Have a friend that bought a phone which he discovered the hard way it was stolen, anyway, blocked imei by network behavior is completely different.
This is what happened to me first time only valid imei after kies rom update.

If you see imei again, Make a backup using pc, there is a guide in development section. So, you can easily restore again.
Ok guys need someone to guide me here. A friend of mine has a Note 9 from Verizon. The imei shows as 15 zeroes!. He was messing with the phone and factory binary to flash from verizon U to U1 to TMB rom, wish he accomplished but now the imei its all zeros, searching online found hardware boxes and things like that that will help you repair the imei but octupus box witch its the one we were looking at dosnt support imei repair of note 9
Then we found the software used by imeigurus that actually have a section for verizon phones that states : cert write IGST method
I think that by having a certification file for note 9 we can write the file using this program and get a new imei , buuuuuut , I found something about cert files not supporting CPID phones witch its the case of the Note 9, so at this point have no idea how to get new imei , any help will be appreciated , phone's out of waranty !

Your "friend" should be able to get the IMEI from their Verizon account information, or, perhaps, on the box that it came with.
Please don't go to the laundry list of excuses that your "friend" has as to why they cannot get the IMEI.
If Verizon cannot help, contact Samsung.
Also, there may be other ways to retrieve the IMEI, use the search function here @ XDA. If there's a legitimate way to retrieve the original IMEI, it'll be here somewhere @ XDA.
Changing the IMEI is frowned upon here & at every other reputable site.
Sent from my SM-N960U using XDA Labs
From what I understand, flashing the old "U" firmware might restore the IMEI number.
This phone is about 3 - 4 months old, since most warranties last at least a year this is a bit short to say it's out of warranty.

check the back of the phone...
This kind of discussion about changing imei is not allowed on XDA Forums. If you have a backup file you can use search button on XDA to restore it, if dont, you have to contact your mobile company.

Hi. I need help about google account.
My device is redmi note 9, running miui 12.5.5.
My phone imei is null. I've lost 'em when trying to downgrade to 12.0.4
I was flashing 12.5.5 this morning and now i can't login into google. It always say cannot reach server. From my friends, this is because of my null imei.
Is there any way to solve this?

Connect to a WiFi network.
As for fixing the IMEI, that can generally only be done with a paid service, which you will not find here on XDA.

Even on WiFi, I can't connect to goggle
For IMEI, i was given up. I was trying on my own, but there is no real clear guide to fix by our self. We have to pay.
Well, if I have to pay, I would prefer repair this in authorized service center
