Hi everyone, in my FB app I have something annoying. On top of the screen I have search suggestions that I don't want to there. My wife has an Mate 10pro and we have the same version of FB 199.0.0.56.98, but she doesn't have it. I tried removing the app, format cache etc. No luck.
Does anyone have a solution?

I have only just noticed it today and I think i had it yesterday. I also installed symply theme and gtalk 1.3 app yesterday (if that has anything to do with it, I don't know.

I have a question about a problem I have since a couple of days. Whenever I try to send a picture in Facebook while in the message section I get a FC if I try to send a picture taken or if I choose one directly from my Gallery.
It's possible to send the picture if I go on Chrome and on the mobile website, but through the Facebook app or Facebook Messenger app it always closes to the Home. I think there's a possibility that it's related to a memory issue. I used to be able to do this without any problem and I think it's since the last Facebook app update (but still, there was no update on the Messenger app and it's still crashing).
I include the Logcat and hopefully somebody could have a look and help me out.
I am sorry for my bad english, I hope my explantion was clear enough.

I was just curious if anyone is experiencing the stock email app crashing when launching it from the notification panel. This just started doing this for me yesterday. I am rooted and on the latest firmware. I have Exposed Framework and Wanam and various other root tools but I haven't done any tweaking lately so I cant quite figure out why it started doing this.
I just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this.

After searching a little more I found the answer right here on XDA. Who would have thought?
I had recently froze" My Magazine". Evidently that was the cause.

I had the same exact issue, but I didn't want to unfreeze magazine so I searched and apparently the other solution is to clear cache and data for the email app. Never had a problem since. It might work for you as well.

I did trying clearing the cache and wiping data but it still crashing. Thanks for the tip though.

So I've recently switched from an S9+ to the P20 Pro, and I'm experiencing a really frustrating bug on the Facebook app. Whenever someone or a page posts 4 or 5+ pictures, I can't load them. I tap on one, and something flashes to suggest they're open but nothing appears. Also with comments. When opening 'more comments' for example, nothing appears. This isn't just occasionally, it's everytime.
I never had this issue with the S9+ which leads me to believe it may be a setting with the Pro.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and no joy.
Anyone experienced anything similar?
i don't think it's a bug in the phone. More likely a bug on fb..
I've had the p20p for a while and fb have been ok before.
I have the exact same issue.
I third this issue. Was considering clearing cache and reinstalling but haven't bothered to try yet. Facebook regularly tinker with the app anyway.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I've tried clearing the cache and reinstalling but made no difference. I'll try again, maybe it's something FB will sort
Have the same problem.... but I don't believe it's an issue with the phone. I had this same problem on my V30
I just downloaded Facebook Lite and its working fine. It doesnt look as good as the main app, and nowhere near as smooth but a good option nonetheless

US tmobile s10 here, currently on android 10. Tapping on Yelp links that are sent to me opens up the app but takes me to the homepage instead of the business profile. It's not caused by android 10 because it's been happening before the update, and this happens in both the stock messenger and Line messenger. I've tried clearing cache, data, and reinstalling but no luck. Searching around has been a bust... i would appreciate any help!
