Do you know that Mate 20 series has a variety of screen capture methods, in addition to screenshots through the phone keys, you can also take screenshots through the knuckles. let's learn together!
First, we have to turn on the smart screenshot switch.
Open Settings - Smart assistance - Motion control - Take screenshot - Smart screenshot, turn on the Smart screenshot switch.

1. Full screenshot:
Use a single-finger joint to double-tap the screen continuously and quickly to take a full screen shot.
2. Scrolling screenshot :
Tap the screen with a single-finger joint and then press and hold the letter S. The screen will automatically scroll down. Touch the screen with your finger to stop scrolling and complete the screenshot.
3. Partial screenshot:
Knock the screen firmly with your knuckle. Drag your knuckle around the area you want to capture, and then return to the starting point. Your selection is displayed on screen, the area inside the blue line will be captured. You can also select the screenshot box at the top of the screen for different screenshot shapes. Touch the icon save to save the screenshot.
The knuckles can be used not only for screen captures, but also for screen recording. Use the two-finger joints and quickly and continuously double-click the screen, then select to enable or disable the microphone recording environment sound, click [Start Recording] to start recording, click the [End] button in the upper left corner of the screen to end the recording.

Hi guys,
Don't know if this one is popular here but there's a new version of sweeterhome out (beta)
I love my ahome setup but I must admit sweeterhome has some serious potential.
I've created 2 simple screens but I have an issue
center screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
left screen:
I noticed that I wasn't able to swipe to another screen anymore because my app tray / widgetblock use the full size of the screen.
If I'm on my center screen (with clock and pure calendar) I can only swipe to my left screen (with apps) when I swipe over the clock widgetblock. Swiping over the pure calendar widget doesn't work.
When I'm on my left screen (apps) I can't swipe to my center screen anymore. On this screen I have one big app tray with 5x4 icons and one small app tray at the bottom with 5 apps. In other words, the complete screen is filled up with app trays (both of them are locked).
Anybody using sweeterhome here which might be able to help? I've posted this on the sweeterhome site as well...
Thx
B
go into edit mode on the left screen, edit the properties of the springboard launcher you made to open up the apps tray (I assume you are using a springboard for that), then in the properties of that springboard should be an option that says "make minimizable"; toggle that to yes. exit out of edit mode now you should be able to toggle that same springboard app launcher to both open and close that tray it controls. give you back your desktop.
alternately, resize the app tray so it doesn't cover up the bottom where your toggles are.
Every now and then when I wake my phone I see a black lockscreen. The only thing on the screen is the clock. My wallpaper and notifications are not shown. Sometimes tapping the screen will fix it. Other times I have to press the power button to put the phone back to sleep then wake it again.
I can't track down exact steps to repro, it seems to be random.
Has anyone else seen this? Any idea what causes it?
S6 edge, stock, non-rooted
This is what I see

How do you turn it off?
What's the purpose of it?
Settings, motion gestures , smart alert
Its just a way to show you your missed alerts and conserve battery
Interesting. In the screen shot above I had alerts (notice the green edge notification). If I swiped it right the contact image appears but no message. I also had some unread emails.
Anyway, it's not something I would use so I'll turn it off. Thanks for your help!
thats not from smart alerts. i have mine off and it does the same thing
Lock screen always on and black fix
To fix this problem pull down your extended quick tab list and un check the display always on option. This should fix you right up.

My phone is a global ROM.
Hi,
Does that setting only show up in certain games or should it be standard ?
I can't find that setting
When in game space (red switch top left of your phone) open up a landscape game and then swipe from right to left on the right side of the screen.
Then press touch button like on my screenshot.

this is so so so annoying, in youtube if you press any of the buttons or the fingerprint, it acts as you clicked on the screen
if you press the buttons while scrolling in chrome it slows the scrolling af
I wish there was a way to disable this thing
In my Chinese version the side buttons are disabled unless your using game space. The Fingerprint is sometimes anoying tho, when pressed in Chrome it wants to search on the current website.
So theyll prob fix it in a upcoming update for all versions.

Hi guys,
If you want to customise the buttons, there is a really simple solution.
Just install "Button Mapper" from Aaron SEGAERT.
It will allow you to get custom actions for those buttons.
You will be able to configure : Simple tap ; Double tap and Long press.
Of course, you can configure it do "Do nothing"...
Problem solved
Hope this helped.
Regards.
Here's how to activate the “Gallery Labs” hidden settings on Samsung smartphones
How to activate Samsung Gallery Labs
It doesn't take long to activate Samsung's Gallery Labs via the Samsung Gallery application, but we would like to point out right away that some options may vary depending on the version of Samsung's One UI installed on your device. In fact, if you have a smartphone with One UI 2.5 at your fingertips, as in our case, you will find the same options you see in the gallery below; otherwise, if you are among the many who use the One UI 3.0 or the very recent One UI...
Having made this necessary premise, we are finally ready to find out how to activate Samsung Gallery Labs. First you need to start the Samsung Gallery application, tap the magnifying glass on the three dots at the top right of the side and select the "Settings" item. Once you have entered the app settings menu, you need to scroll down, tap on "About Gallery" and tap repeatedly on the version of the app until the message "[Labs] appears on the screen. Gallery is enabled ".
Once this is done, you need to go back to the previous screen and locate the new “Gallery Labs” panel. Inside there are a series of "advanced settings" that normally cannot be exploited without activating this feature.

For quite some time! Or at least since OneUI 2.5 could be installed on the Note 8. And this thing I discovered by chance on the internet.
