Can anyone tell me how to get my phone out from the bootloop?
Here is how it went, I managed to unlocked bootloader and also uploaded twrp.
However, i accidentally flash a bootimage file on one of the mount "boot image" i think.
Is there anyway i can put in into download mode so i can possibly use Qfil or Ost?
Hold vol up+ power until screen turns black then hold power up then plug your phone into a pc. That will put you in laying down android screen with"No Command" from there hold power butten and press vol up once. This will put you in recovery from there( twrp or stock doesn't matter) you can reboot into bootloader. This will put you in download mode. There should be also a button combo to boot into bootloader straightaway but idk that.

Problem with rebooting? Because i did the same mistake and you need hold down buttons for almost 2 mins. It will eventually reboot but you gotta be fast to get into recovery mode if you don't make it in time you have to wait again for 2 mins

Yeah vol up for 2 mins it is hilarious but that button combos must have something to do with boot partition. That's why it takes so much time than the correct boot partition

Well idk what your situation is that should work. I gave up back in the day so i tied my phone with 2 headphones and i got a vibration so that's how i realized it is still working tie something to press the buttons. If it ever gets a vibration ot reboot that means you gotta hold it longer than 2 mins

Try to hold all three buttons, power, volume up and volume down at the same time for some seconds. That should trigger a force shutdown.
Make sure that you don't have the USB cable plugged in. When the phone shuts down, you have to press the volume down button, while pluggin in the cable, which should put you into download mode.
Then reflash using this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-8/how-to/guide-restore-nokia-to-stock-t3867646

Do you use OST LA 6.1.2? If yes, use 6.0.4 or NOST.
Is your bootloader unlocked critical? You need to do this in order for OST to work properly. If you don't know, enter "fastboot oem device-info" when the phone is in download mode.

Hi,
I tried the regular fastboot method to load CWM recovery.
Whenever it got to the point of loading the recovering, it would just say "flashing recovery on the device...".
Then, when restarting bootloader and clicking on "recovery", it would just shut down the phone.
I decided to experiment to try fix the issue, and I came across this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1928551
I downloaded the ZIP file and I ran the root.bat
It flashed some boot images and now my phone wont start
It is stuck on the "warning bootloader unlocked screen" and will not go any further.
Please help . I'm so scared that I've bricked my phone. Is there ANYTHING I can do?
Thanks in advance for the help!
The methods u used can't brick your phone
Reboot in boot loader by pressing the power button and volume - button at the same time. Just at the moment the phone shuts-down/reboot release the power button. It will boot in boot loader. After this flash cwm or twrp again and with the volume down button go to recovery. Select recovery with the volume up key and u are done. Cwm/twrp is flashed and will boot in the recovery.
In recovery I would install the ROM from Omar. It will restore your system and boot.IMG so it will work. Don't forget to wipe data.
If this doesn't work flash the home made fast boot files somewhere in the development section

Thanks - I tried that. I do let go of the buttons as soon as it starts to reboot itself, but it doesn't start the bootloader - it still just shows the screen "warning bootloader unlocked". I can not get back into the bootloader
Do u reset the phone with the 4 buttons and just when it resets does your phone reboots immediately?

If I hold all 4 buttons, the screen goes blank, and the green light stays on. My PC then finds hardware called "MEDFIELD" but wont find drivers for it.
Does this help at all?

The above applies when connected with usb.
If I press all 4 buttons without USB connected, it just reboots and gets stuck on the "unlocked bootloader" message again

You should let go only of power button and hold vol.down button (at least for me)
If your PC finds hardware - can you do fastboot devices to check whether it is actually recognized properly?
And last thing - which method you used to load recovery (and were you on ICS\JB)? You were rooted and used automated methods or you unlocked bootloader and wanted to root afterwards (manually through fastboot)?

You are a GENIUS!!! A LIFE SAVER!!! I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am. BOTH of your points fixed the phone.
I could never get into recovery becuase I was pressing the power button. I could never get into fastboot becuase I was holding both the power and volume down button.
So, for anyone using a RAZR I... please note the following SIMPLE things:
1) In the bootloader menu, the power button does NOT select the option. The VOL UP button selects the option
2) To boot into BOOTLOADER : Hold both power and vol down buttons until the phone restarts, and then RELEASE the power button, while still HOLDING the volume down button! It will then load the bootloader.
Again, THANKS so so much for reviving my phone for me. I was going crazy without a phone!

This has never happened to me before but don't stress one bit because nothing ever permanently bad comes from this. You can forget about it being destroyed. These aren't iPhones, haha. You can get it going again pretty easy I hear. Just don't stress because there is no point and you WILL get help. Just listen to what these experienced dudes are saying and you should be back on track. Good luck!

UPDATE: Nice! Glad to see you got the help you needed and everything's back on track!
Nice that it is solved. I gave u the solution on my first post, but nice that someone els did a better job in explaining it
There is almost no possibilities to brick your device if u only flash things like the boot, system, recovery or data partition. They can he solved very easy. If u flash the other partitions like the radio u can get a problem.

You are 100% right. I just re-read your post, and noticed that you did mention those 2 points. I must've just read over them really quickly and didn't pay attention to the details of which buttons to press.
Thanks a ton for your help! Really appreciate it! :highfive:
So I installed a TWRP RECOVERY a Motorola RAZR i, using the Flash Tool.
It installed but I could never access it from the POWER VOLUME UP & DOWN method.
So I had to turn the phone on and enable USB Debugging then use ADB to reboot into recovery via the Flash Tool.
Then I was working on a PORT when I flashed a ROM, it went into bootflop, now I cannot get into the BOOTLOADER at all.
It never works, it will show the normal warning sign and then just go straight to the ROM.
I tried using RSD with an SBF File but it did not work, as I have to be in fastboot and I cannot be in without going into the bootloader.
Is there no hope for this device...
I have the feeling that twrp isn't flashed right. U did use fastboot?
For the bootloop. Hold volume down the whole time when it boots/bootloops, it will boot in ap flashmode (fastboot). Maybe u need to stop pressing the button after the first restart(when holding the volume down button) at the moment u get the warning.
Easily recoverable, just need some trying with the above way.

My method to come into fastboot-mode while having a bootloop:
1. when in bootloop press all buttons (power, VolUp, VolDown) and keep pressed
2. when screen goes off, leave the VolUp button alone, keep VolDown and Power pressed.
3. when phone vibrates, leave power alone and keep VolDown pressed
4. the bl-unlock-warning shows up and after a few seconds you should be in fastboot-mode
5. now you can leave VolDown alone
Maybe you need some tries, cause its a question of timing, but for me it works.
Thanks...

I think what should be focused on first is getting juice back in that battery. Plug it in to the charger and let it sit for a few hours (like, at least 8 hours). It may boot loop but maybe it will still get some juice? (not sure about this..). Then you can try again to get into Flashmode. (Are you experienced in flashing stock FTF's with flashtool?)

I have a new HTC M8 form Sprint (it's the boss's phone) and since last night the phone will not boot. It is on the stock rom, not rooted and boot loader is locked. The phone won't HBoot, Fastboot or enter recovery (get the phone with the red triangle). Any ideas or help is appreciated.
What where you trying to do?
From your description it sounds like a brick.
If you can get into bootloader you could try to enter fastboot flash recovery recovery.img or put the recovery.img in a zip with correct android.txt zip it and name zip 0P6BIMG.zip and put that in root of external sdcard and boot to bootloader.
He wasn't attempting to do anything. The phone was on the charger overnight. Not sure if there was an update the was downloaded and installed overnight. Bu, as of right now it seems to be "bricked".
From the screen with the red triangle, what happens if you hold the power button down? Does it reboot? If so, when the screen goes black, try holding the volume down button and see if it will go into the bootloader. If so, you can try to RUU.

Shouldnt it be you hold volume up+ power it should reboot you, then volume down +power to boot to bootloader? I assume the same since it shows the default recovery (no ROM installed image)
I can't remember about the rebooting part. I know for a fact that if I reboot my phone I can hold volume down to get into bootloader once the screen goes black. I was stuck in the stock recovery the other day and can't recall offhand how I got it to reboot.

Holding Power & Volume Down beginning screen says Bootloader Unlocked Cannot Be trusted and then goes to Android Recovery. Tried to Factory Data reset several times, but keeps coming back to Bootloader Unlocked. I can not even tell if I am over charging or if it is charged at all. Why are you holding vol down? Holding vol down and power is the method used to boot to recovery. And once the bootloader is unlocked you will always get the nag screen saying it is unsafe. Ignore it. What happens if you just push the power button WITHOUT pushing vol down?

I don't know. The Odin screen remaining open is normal. But, unless you unchecked the auto-reboot in Odin options, the tablet should have rebooted when it finished flashing. If it doesn't, I guess the only thing you can do is manually reboot the tablet by holding vol down and power for about 7 seconds.

I did uncheck the auto-reboot which the directions I had said to do so. So I just let it sit there for about 6-7 hours plugged into PC. I figured then there was no way it wasn't done installing so i unplugged from PC. After like 5 minutes or so the tablet came on with the beginning screen for setting up tablet. Now I just have to figure how much crap I really need on it. I wish I could get rid of Samsung Flow so I could use the tablet for Fan Duel. Thanks for your help. Have a good weekend.
