The current schedule is:

Discuss the current release in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/index-google-nexus-5-android-m-t3120746
apart from being some kind of official place for everyone to go "uh is it out yet" "uuhhh its still not out" "when's it out?" what's the point in this thread?

I have a question, is the second preview is only available for OTA?
I hoped they would release it on Independence Day in America but nope.

we should have been on at least 2nd build according to this https://developer.android.com/preview/overview.html but no regrets hope more time for release means more bug fixes and more features....

As much as i like android it will never be bug free or perfected. Never has been.

True, but when you have ways to fix the road and just keep on watching the cars crash...There are still some bugs on 5.1.1 that could have been solved on previous versions. It just seems that google does not care sometimes...

Ask yourself these questions:
Have they ever released a dev preview by OTA?
Why would they?

They are going to release the dev previews for OTA. But no it won't be the only way to get it.

it's impossible to find any advanced software who constantly change bug free, more so when we are talking about OS. Android could be bug free is they were to frooze the developpement of the OS, stop adding new feature or changing things and only work on bug.

Scroll down to the part about OTA updates.
"Updates delivered by OTA
You can get updates over-the-air, once you’ve flashed a device to the initial preview"

No OS will ever be 100% bug free until devices ship with an AI that can fix its own code on the fly... so we've got some time to wait on that happening.
However, yeah, there bugs happening (for me) from 4.4.3 that have never been resolved. Somewhat disappointing. Still can't wait for the next M Dev Preview though!!

Doesn't matter then release a new preview. They didn't promise us anything.
Just be patient and it will come.

Yeah they did. They said 2nd preview at the end of June or early July. We have 9 days before early July ends.
Any news on LG G6 Oreo, my dad's ($100 less) U11 Life just got it and I'm wondering if we will every get Oreo.
I saw a message this morning that the 8.0 Beta was just released in China. Expected to be released in South Korea in 2-3 weeks. Pure speculation, but we're probably looking at the end of January or the first of February for a release of 8.0
I fear we may never get Oreo. The H872 has been a forgotten flagship for months.

Maybe they'll enable the flashing commands too.
I saw on the news that February is when it is coming to the US based on some information from a LG representative via a phone call, not sure about T-Mobile though.

Ahh! But 2 days ago I had done a software update which was around 500mb. I thought that must be the December Security Patch. So getting a 800mb update just after the earlier update made me a bit happy that I was finally getting Oreo ahaha. But I guess..Samsung..? Always late in Upgrades.

Any info about 64bit/32bit?
moto g5s plus
This device will be upgraded to the Android 8 (Oreo) release of Android, pending partner support.
Do you have the latest Motorola software
I bought mine at Best Buy
Will almost certainly be 32Bit.
And we will still be waiting a while because the notes say that we get security up thru June 1st which hasn't happened yet. So implementing that will take probably a week at least. Soak testing will take probably 2 weeks, so we will probably see it late June/early July.
It sucks that they aren't doing anything about our awful camera(s).
Android OEMs get the contents of the security updates weeks in advance, so it's understandable that they'd release the June security update a few days early. It happens all the time with manufacturers that actually release updates often.

The camera on the G5+ was better than the dual setup on the G5s+ that's what I think the guy above is referring to.
"Sorry, the document you have requested is not available.
Please visit our homepage to get support for your product."
It's been coming since it was announced a year ago "from this fall". It'll be coming in a few months. Nothing to see here - literally.

When I bought the
g5s+ I was disappointed with their cameras quality. But after March update of Camera app it's much better. Of course in low light environment I also see so much noise but this is phone camera, not SLR.

But They aren't back. They changed the info on that page to show the June security patch instead of the oreo release. At this point, I've given up. In December, when I get my new phone, I'll be going to the nokia 6.1, which is an Android One device.
April fools, haha, it's still on January patch with lagging oxygen 9.0.12 for over 3 months.
