So. My experience:
Phone download full ROM Update
I've pressed "Reboot to update" button
Phone reboots normally in TWRP
TWRP installs 8.12.6 ROM
but when finished TWRP reboot automatically.
...and system got bootloop (this is normal without Lazy)
So. MIUI ROM install needs following steps.
1. Go to Updater
2. Download ROM, when downloaded
3. NOT ALLOW automatic reboot and install
4. Turn off phone
5. Reboot to recovery manually
6. Wipe cache and dalvik/art (just only 2 partitions!!!)
7. Install ROM, when finished, DO NOT REBOOT
8. TWRP wil recommend LAZY FLASHER option
9. Select and run LAZY
10. Then successfully finished Reboot to system.
I think.

Red Wolf Recovery is custom recovery based on TWRP source code however some things are working here slightly different then you might expected. The main objective of this project is to provide stable recovery with features which you have never seen before in a recovery and which have not been accepted for adding to the official source code of TWRP. This recovery is also first recovery on the world with password protection.
Based on TWRP version: 3.2.1
For devices: Osprey & Merlin
Authors build: Subins Mani
Developers: ATG Droid
Thanks: Special Thanks to squid2 for his source, .z31s1g (for the base of his theme), osm0sis (for his bootimage binaries), etc.
Features:
Code:
Translated to EN & CZ
- Password protection
- MIUI Incremental OTA Support
- Support automatic reboot after the restore process
- Advanced deactivation of the stock recovery
- Support for automatic deactivation of the dm-verity & forced encryption...
- Recovery can notify you about the completed backup/restore/installation using the notification diode & vibration.
- A lot of other things, just look at it ;)
* Changes for security reasons *
- MTP isn't starting until user enter correct password
- Deactivated support of the custom themes
Some differences to the official version:
Code:
[COLOR="red"]- get out of here if you are pirating apps. this recovery is not for you[/COLOR]
- always up-to-date with the latest TWRP changes
- compiled on omnirom-7.1 source
- kernel compiled inline with the recovery
- There isn't bug with reboot from recovery to recovery
- more languages
- other improvements from Features and Changelog lists
Installation instructions:
To temporarily boot this recovery:
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
To permanently flash it:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery.img
Downloads:
Download Link For Osprey
RedWolf-027-Unofficial-osprey.img
Download Link for Merlin
RedWolf-027-Unofficial-merlin.img
Warning:
Please remember that recovery with password protection isn't still a full protection for your phone. Red Wolf can only prevent unauthorized access to your device from recovery. But your device can be still reinstalled using fastboot or Miflash.

Our device has some limitations, that is the reason flashlight and encryption is not working..
But i have managed to enable dtw, but by default it is disable, because our display is not designed for dtw..

Decryption
Thank you for this, it looks awesome! One question, as all other TWRPs for sumire aren't yet able to decrypt the /data partion if it's encrypted. Does BATIK-RECOVERY allow decryption?

Reporting problems
If you wish to report problems, be sure to do all of these:
1. Copy the logs immediately you see a problem
2. Explain fully and clearly the problem, and what you were doing when you encountered that problem
3. Attach the logs that show the problem. If you fail to do this, there would be no way for the developers to ascertain what exactly is going on, and therefore your report would be unhelpful.
4. Give full details about the OrangeFox version, your ROM, and your firmware version.
If you want to know how to copy logs, read https://files.orangefox.tech/FAQ.md

When rebooting to recovery I have to enter a password to decrypt data and then I have access to the recovery, but I shouldn't yet because I have also a password to the recovery. So without the password, I can format data etc, and then when I want to reboot to recovery it asks for a password, which is a little late, don't you think?

Thanks. Indeed, this is a known issue (relates to FBE encryption). It will be fixed in due course (at least it doesn't compromise data security, because the correct password is still needed before data can be accessed).
I've been waiting for this work for a long time, thanks

I had a similar problem, I had to flash TWRP via bootloader (not the official, the one by Arian, that works better) and then as I had been having trouble with the ROM I also wiped system and caches and flashed the ROM and GApps, after booting I went again to recovery and flashed OrangeFox, no problem so far since then

It's fine, i don't really use the vibration support, maybe that is why i didn't noticed when i was using the recovery. ?
I always use flashboot boot to access twrp... Can i just extract the Recovery.img from the zip and do the flashboot boot? I want to try this because the Mauronofrio TWRP blanks as I do the flashboot boot on MIUI 11.1.1.0 Global (Indonesia) Android 10

Should work. May I ask why you don't want to flash it?
It's because of the incremental updates... I usually uninstall magisk and update the firmware, after that I reinstalled the Magisk... It is way faster for me as TWRP from Mauronofrio is not compatible with the incremental updates... I dont know if I could update using the full firmware...
But Mauronofrio TWRP blanks everytime I boot with fastboot boot, so my MN10P is not rooted right now...

Wow jazak Allah ahmad brother ..
Gonna flash it after bootloader unlocks..
I can't use Internal storage in recovery. After formating data for once, it becomes available temporarily till i boot back to system. When i boot back to recovery say for flashing magisk or restoring Migrate Backups, it becomes inaccessable again. Any helps?
does this rom support dual apps?
Lidl plus makes problem in all Evolution x Roms in all devices. I can't activate Coupons. Any solutuion?
Solved
I haven't tried the Lidl Plus app. But have you installed Magisk? if yes - did you hide Magisk for the Lidl app?

As far as I remember encryption is removed when you flash the internal storage. But when you start back into system the internal memory should be encrypted again. As long as you don't install with Magisk "no force encrypt". Means when you go back to recovery the internal storage is encrypted again. And seems that actual TWRP doesn't work with the encryption.

Sorry, it is an internal Error of Lidl. The account of my wife is broken. It works with another account. Thanks for the hard work.

Thanks for the Reply dude, but it hasn't been the case with my Mi 9T Pro, it used to perform as intended. Maybe we'll have to wait for A11 kernel source code, it might get fixed then.
Thanks for the work. Used Evolution X on my whyred for a while and it was a very good ROM.
Happy to try it out for this device as well!
Wow this ROM is awesome! Had some problems with the Internal Storage not being able to mount, but has nothing to do with this ROM.
Packed with useful features and absolutely love the navigation gestures. Great work!
