I searched for more info. The only thing i can find is this

So recovery can't find a partition. Should I have this partition.. I bought my phone more than two years ago. I had a custom ROM since. Is it possible that later MIUI added the partition in later updates..??

I've just tested it more and I found that when bootloader is included I get the error..
I use magisk

Yes, but the fingerprint will not be detected, and the screen lock feature will be lost. And the solution is to reinstall ROM

how do I decrypt the internal storage? I do the formatting and I enter recovery and everything is fine, and after I start the system and go back to recovery this is encrypted

damn i just noticed that my lock feature is no more lol

Which rom and kernels supoort F2FS?

Installed this orange fox recovery and advanced wiped everything except external sd card and after flashing custom rom with latest magisk zip when i try to set it up at startup, it start again for google setup and it looping like this on on on every custom rom i tried. After reverting to old twrp recovery everything works fine on my redmi 7 (3/32) .

Hello Friends
I have strange problem
After flashing any custom ROM based on Android pie or Q My OrangeFox recovery don't work (touch screen stop responding in recovery mode. Only the slot where I flash the ROM freezes other slot works) I tried many ROMs (my device is teriblized I tried both terible and non terible ROMs but a faced same issue) tried to reflash OrangeFox package but no luck.
Same like this when I enable double tap to wake my phone's screen stop responding once light off the display and start after reboot and again it happen.
Any one can help it'll be appreciated!
(I have observed that doublue tap to wake is by default enable in Recovery mode screen wakes up by double tapping but touch don't respond that is the reason of freezing screen if there is any way to disable DTW in recovery mode?)

for now no bugs found, i am on mi note 10 standard version, using xiaomi.eu latest stable rom

Flashing installs work normally as well, using 20.6.4 Xiaomi EU Rom.

It's fine, i don't really use the vibration support, maybe that is why i didn't noticed when i was using the recovery. ?

I always use flashboot boot to access twrp... Can i just extract the Recovery.img from the zip and do the flashboot boot? I want to try this because the Mauronofrio TWRP blanks as I do the flashboot boot on MIUI 11.1.1.0 Global (Indonesia) Android 10

Should work. May I ask why you don't want to flash it?

It's because of the incremental updates... I usually uninstall magisk and update the firmware, after that I reinstalled the Magisk... It is way faster for me as TWRP from Mauronofrio is not compatible with the incremental updates... I dont know if I could update using the full firmware...
But Mauronofrio TWRP blanks everytime I boot with fastboot boot, so my MN10P is not rooted right now...

The build has been made official under the name of exynos9611 so ya might wanna try that instead.

Hi Yillie, its booting into Download mode. I flashed from inside TWRP. Any suggestions?
Do I need to flash Stock Firmware again?

Hi Yillie, is there a Final Build for M21 available? The one I have is the Beta OFox. Im using SHRP right now but OFox would be better. Thanks in advance.

M21 now uses the unified build on the official website ( The R11.1 dl link above ).

You do have GSIs and I'd consider those pretty stable now.

Yes GSI pretty stable & functional but still not feels like a real ROM :-( , GSI lag issues are there as well as lacks customizations compared to ROMs.

Hello everyone! I flashed 'vbmeta.img' and then 'recovery.img' using 'Heimdall' (I chose it because I'm on Linux with no Windows available). The flashing part was successful. However, the phone gets into a bootloop when trying to boot into Android and the phone can't be turned off. I never touched the other partitions apart from VBMETA and RECOVERY. Right now I'm only able to enter recovery and download mode. Could you please recommend me something?

Can you elaborate what specifically you mean by bootloop?
Gets stuck at the boot animation? If yes, then try disabling dm verity or flashing magisk based on your preference.
