Yes, but the fingerprint will not be detected, and the screen lock feature will be lost. And the solution is to reinstall ROM

Red Wolf Recovery is custom recovery based on TWRP source code however some things are working here slightly different then you might expected. The main objective of this project is to provide stable recovery with features which you have never seen before in a recovery and which have not been accepted for adding to the official source code of TWRP. This recovery is also first recovery on the world with password protection.

For device: Rolex
Authors build: MacTavishAO(ataberkozen)

Doesn't support MIUI Incremental OTA, however, survived the complete system upgrade. Other than TWRp it was replaced by standard recovery and should be reinstalled. Good job!

Reporting problems
If you wish to report problems, be sure to do all of these:
1. Copy the logs immediately you see a problem
2. Explain fully and clearly the problem, and what you were doing when you encountered that problem
3. Attach the logs that show the problem. If you fail to do this, there would be no way for the developers to ascertain what exactly is going on, and therefore your report would be unhelpful.
4. Give full details about the OrangeFox version, your ROM, and your firmware version.
If you want to know how to copy logs, read https://files.orangefox.tech/FAQ.md

When rebooting to recovery I have to enter a password to decrypt data and then I have access to the recovery, but I shouldn't yet because I have also a password to the recovery. So without the password, I can format data etc, and then when I want to reboot to recovery it asks for a password, which is a little late, don't you think?

Thanks. Indeed, this is a known issue (relates to FBE encryption). It will be fixed in due course (at least it doesn't compromise data security, because the correct password is still needed before data can be accessed).
I've been waiting for this work for a long time, thanks

I had a similar problem, I had to flash TWRP via bootloader (not the official, the one by Arian, that works better) and then as I had been having trouble with the ROM I also wiped system and caches and flashed the ROM and GApps, after booting I went again to recovery and flashed OrangeFox, no problem so far since then

Introduction:
Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and back up the current system which are functions often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when flashing, installing, or rooting Android devices, although it isn't dependent on a device being rooted prior to installation. I always use flashboot boot to access twrp... Can i just extract the Recovery.img from the zip and do the flashboot boot? I want to try this because the Mauronofrio TWRP blanks as I do the flashboot boot on MIUI 11.1.1.0 Global (Indonesia) Android 10

Should work. May I ask why you don't want to flash it?
It's because of the incremental updates... I usually uninstall magisk and update the firmware, after that I reinstalled the Magisk... It is way faster for me as TWRP from Mauronofrio is not compatible with the incremental updates... I dont know if I could update using the full firmware...
But Mauronofrio TWRP blanks everytime I boot with fastboot boot, so my MN10P is not rooted right now...

I finally made it working.
Some notes:
-need 64 bit recovery
-format data after install
-i saw thatyou dont need to wipe to install but i haven't tried it.
Use the 64bit TWRP or else u will get error 255 and probably stuck in the bootloader screen if you reboot to the system.

I get no connectivity when I set LTE only. 3G working just fine.
Just for me or?
EDIT:
Fixed:
- Got my 4G APN from stock rom, copied it to crdroid - it was different.
- Typed *#*#4636#*#* in phone, opened hamburger menu, Select Radio Band -> Europe
Love the rom, thank you so much! Is there a version that comes without google preinstalled?
I've installed this rom for 3 weeks, it works without any problems. thanks !
Does this ROM have smart charging and charge cut off?
Is ASHS activated on this Rom?
