Why you don't use Los16 by @coderzs if you have a Mi A2
Thanks for making this rom. The A/B partitioning on jasmine is a pain in the ass to deal with.
May I ask... Will this get regular updates? At least once a month? I'm currently on an old LOS 15.1 with Sept Security Patch.

Yeah !!! At last!! The wait is over.
I start to download the ROM for testing.
I back to discuss how it goes.
Greetings.
Sorry for my bad English, this is a Google translation.
In Lollipop version was possible to switch between AOSP and CM mode, no longer has that option? now this ROM only supports Layers and no more engine CM issues?

Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Great to see someone else carrying on the flame of LineageOS 17 for the Mi A1! Nice job!

Thank you so much, I am so glad we can still have an up to date, clean google free ROM for our A1, thanks to you!
Do you guys have already tested which magisk version works? I am still stuck with v19.3 with Flex1911's build

I'm on official LineageOs 16. How can I update it? Do I have to install the prior updates of firmware or just install this one?

Hi there. I'm on 17.1 right now. Don't switch on the voice match in Google Assistant and be ready that Facebook Messenger will crash when you change the notification sound. But it is common for all Android 10 for our device.
Other things are working perfect (I saw a few freezes but they didn't affect the system). And today I'll check if Android Auto connecting to my car.
P.S. Sound is amazing (I'm musician

So Android Auto is connecting to a car. But unfortunately it shows only black screen and my phone freezes deadly (only reboot can help). I'm trying to find out why it is so.
i hope i can use it as daily driver and i'm waiting for it bro thank you so much keep up the good work. i'm using Lineage os16 from the day when i bought this device and now i think its time to move on LOS17
Thanks for this great rom! Everything is working great except that I am not able to connect to hidden wifi. (Tried unhide -> connect -> hide, still doesn't work).
Any solutions anyone?
Update
------------
I had no set hidden network as "Yes" when adding the network. Marking it hidden fixed the issue for me.
First impression, is the smoothest, clearly the fastest 10 for MI A1. Need to be improved for sure but is fantastic. Thanks to dev!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

I am currently on Pixel Evolution X. What steps i should follow in order to flash this rom?
Fantastic news!
I am on Evolutionx rom. However I tried every step I know to install this rom, but it always asks me a password to boot Android. Everything goes well, using latest magisk and twrp, but I am stuck at password on recovery. I am updating from a rom without security lock.
Any help friends?
Why I cannot install magisk on this and I did not see a menu that will reboot to recovery. It also bring me to los recovery instead of twrp.

Well, thanks man, I knew about it. Just don't want to erase all my files. I went back to evolution Rom, and it didn't ask for a password. I wish there was another way.
Took a leap of faith. Installed the rom but gapps failed to install. downloaded NikGapps Macro. Any suggestions?
First time with mia1 should i go with los18 or GSI rom.
