This rom giving me nostalgia though. like they still have dsp manager and stuff.
I mean using OmniROM on your device it's like you have CM 11 (the last good CM Version IMO) but it's on modern Android OS. So, downloading right now

Helium version. Camera video recording fix (Snapdragon Camera is working now) volume boost, build.prop fixes, init.qcom.power.rc fixes, Adaway, Substratum and Kernel Adiutor are included.

- Take a nandroid backup
- Recommended - Full wipe and factory reset (full wipe only on the first rom flash, when you need to flash a rom update just dirty flash or wipe just the system partition)
- Flash in this order: firmware-->rom-->gapp-->magisk (no need to flash the firmware every time you update the rom , just make sure to keep your fw updated when new version will released)
- Reboot.

Thanks mate, the rom is great.
the only minor bug is the notification led not blinking... it's a really minor bug and from my point of view, I can survive without blink.
my compliment for the stable and perfect rom.

Will be trying this out later tonight, will post any bugs I find. Any chances of seeing the Mi Max 2 with ResurrectionRemix Oreo (v6.0) or a official build ETA if you are working with the RR community?

Firmware refers to the applications and operating system that control how a Smartphone operates. It is called firmware rather than software to highlight that it is very closely tied to the particular hardware components of a device.
You need the latest one. So it's on you to understand if you have the latest or not. Op recommends instaling the latest Firmware from Miui to ensure a bug-free experience.

Turn off AOD after flashing, not turning it off results in black screen and no reaction.​
If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.​
Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

1, can not set the live wallpaper
2, should be selected by default for the full-screen application, rather than manually in the settings one by one, and the experience of manually ticked in that interface is very bad.
But other than that, I feel perfect! ！！
It will be my daily ROM for a while!

Hello, established.Good work!Battery is good.Found until two shortcomings.Sound and vibration does not work when "sms"is received,and does not connect to the wfd TV,when you try to connect,the phone restarts.

For SMS - update your SMS app via Google Play store. It works just fine for me.
I didn't test miracast but I would love to get a log from that.

After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

I wonder if quick charge works for this rom.. I had flashed a few roms where I cannot quick charge.. even to charge the phone is really hard.. however, when I enter in recovery mode, I can quick charge it. Is there any trick to have it working properly on Mi Max 2 Oxygen?

Yes that is possible. But this is a old kernel issue. And i am not a kernel dev. So if anyone fix that kernel bug I will update that in my next build.

Doesn't work on Orange fox. I was wondering... what is the point of incompatibility? Any of the developers has something to win by grouping the testers into two camps, the TWRPers and the OrangeFoxers?! Or maybe to lose? I really miss the point.
