I was struggling with the edge notification not working. I tried all the solutions in the videos/sites but they didn't work for me. Anyway I found a solution i though I'd share since i haven't seen anyone mention it.
Basically go check your developer options and make sure you haven't disabled animations scale completely. Make it at least 0.5 and edge notifications scale will work.
I always use to disabled animations and this is the first app well sys app that seems to need it enabled to function.
Anyway thought I'd share that little something. Peace [emoji111]️
Thanks man!
Thanks for the tip!!

i disabled developer options and put it to 0.5 and i still only receive edge lighting for only text messages. not for the other notifications i've selected
Hello. If you want edge lighting notifications for all apps, here is app which support it even with custom colors. It works by transforming old style notifications, to new style, so it shows edge lighting even with AOD. Give it a try.

And works with screen on and off? Does this app overlaps the original edge lighting?
Thanks

Hello. Yes, it works with screen on and off. It works by grabbing old style notification, parse data end send new style, edge like notification so it uses samsung native notifications. It looks just like someone is calling you.
Still dont work.

I just received my Galaxy S10 plus yesterday. I am coming from an S8 plus and on it I was always able to see the clock or calendar when it was on the charging stand or just sitting on the table. With the S10 Plus the screen is always dark until I tap it. Is there a way to have the clock or calendar always show up on the display?
Thanks,
Steven

Change the display mode under LOCKSCREEN>AOD settings to always show.
Thank you.
Is there a way to remove the battery percentage from the always on display?I was using andromida/substraum system mod to remove the battery on Oreo
On my note 8.But how is this possible on pie on the s10 or other devices running pie
I would like to know this as well.
Bump
Bump for the experts
You have to disable the battery percentage on status bar. If you do that, it'll disappear in AOD.

Incorrect I've all ready removed it feom the status bar.it does not remove it fro.m aod.like I said for Oreo we just use substraum to remove the battery from aod
Hoping some experts can help

Yes, we need this. an aod without battery and without time .. only notification
Still nothing? Some smart developers need to lend a hand
Tal vez ya lo solucionaron, pero Es igual en android 10
Yes it is possible
First get Good lock install from galaxy store then get lockstar installed via good lock and in lock star you can modify as per your choice. Have attached images for reference
Hi, guys!
I've been using LG phones for years and have just recently switched to Xiaomi Mi 9. While it's a great phone, a few things are bugging me. Can you help?
- How do I enable permanent notifications at the top of the screen next to the clock?
- How do I enable notifications on the AOD?
- The AOD is too bright. How do I adjust this?
- How do I enable double-tap to sleep from the lockscreen?
Please note I have no root and prefer not to root the phone.
Thank you!
Hi to all,
as a new owner of OnePlus 10 Pro, I've an issue when using AOD during the night because brightness is very high and it is not possible to adapt it...
Is there any fix for this? I've tried to used severa other AOD app for that but there are other problem such as the footprint to unlock the device, so I'd prefer to use the native app.
Thanks in advance,
Alex
