How to upgrade system?
Download the software build for your device on this page. Please back up your data before flashing your device.
Plug your phone into your computer and copy the downloaded .zip to your phone’s storage. If you’re using a Mac, you can install Android File Transfer for this operation.
After the .zip file is copied to your phone, go to 'Settings' - 'system update', click the 'settings' icon on the top right corner, choose 'Local upgrade', find the .zip file and click on 'Install' to confirm.
The update takes about a minute (depending upon the file size), once done reboot your device to boot into the latest Oxygen OS

Hi,
found this here: http://b.it168.com/thread-1861355-1-1.html.
I successfully flashed it on my Note and it's working flawlessly.
Translation of the thread (with small clarifications):
Statement:
Flashing may damage your phone.
If you are willing to take this risk, then continue to read and follow the prompts.
If you hesitate to take this risk, do not flash!
Thank you!
Note:
This CWM update package completely wipes your data, so back it up before flashing.
To flash this CWM package, make sure your phone has CWM Recovery.
While this ROM comes with Samsungs official kernel, you won't have CWM Recovery anymore after flashing it!
To get it back, you have to flash the CWM + Root-Kernel from the kernel package via Odin.
ROM package Download: http://minus.com/lbmFjR9aGytLI6
ROOT + CWM kernel and official kernel Download: http://min.us/lbr3L9wf7aHUuC
Flashing instructions:
1. Download attachment 'N7000ZSKK1_ROM.bin', rename it to 'N7000ZSKK1_ROM.exe' and extract it using '7zip'.
2. Copy the extracted file ('N7000ZSKK1_wipe.zip') to the phone built-in SD card root directory.
3. Turn off the phone and hold the volume + HOME + POWER button on the phone to enter CWM Recovery mode.
4. Select 'install zip from sdcard' and confirm.
5. Select 'choose zip from internal sdcard' and confirm.
6. Find 'N7000ZSKK1_wipe.zip' and confirm.
7. Select yes to confirm flashing 'N7000ZSKK1_wipe.zip'. This step may take longer, please be patient.
8. When flashing is finished, press the return key to return to the main menu.
9. Select 'reboot system now' to restart your device.
Features:
1. Hong Kong-based version of the latest 2.3.6 ROM N7000ZSKK1
2. Deodexed, zipaligned
3. Thin version (few System Apps removed) [If you think that this version is too thin for you, you can add every App you want manually, as they are all additionally contained in the first download package (ROM package).]
4. Added Chinese voice
5. Original Samsung kernel
6. Transparent weather widget
7. Data switch button in pulldown bar
8. Built-in quick restart of the OS

Hi,
here you are:

Greetings
Pupy991
Thanks for the swift reply.
Unfortunately that gray button to the right of the green button doesn't show on my page in either Chrome, Firefox, or IE.
Hmmm..
Just logged onto a remote server and observed the same behavior...
The button doesn't show...
Possibly the site assesses the incoming IP address and reacts accordingly from a region specific perspective...
We need a mirror.
Strange...An hour ago it worked without any problems but now that grey button doesn't show up anymore...
I don't come from China or anywhere near so I don't think that this is related to your or my region...
Mirror is uploading, but my internet connection is not that fast, so it will take about 1-2 hours...Sorry!
Edit: Mirror is online, Links in OP are updated.

Does this still have touch wiz?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Yes it does.
Sorry, I'm a bit clueless.
The downloads are .exe and the instructions say to download the .zip.
Do I rename the .exes to .zip? Or do I just drop them on as is?
- Frank
The .exe files are compressed, you have to extract them using '7zip'.
If you extract the file 'N7000ZSKK1_ROM.exe' for example, you'll get the file 'N7000ZSKK1_wipe.zip', which you can flash via CWM Recovery then, just as described in the OP.
I'll edit that in OP to clear things up.
Would the counter be added, if I flash this KK1 Rom ? Would the yellow triangle shows up ?
Thanks !
Flashing this via CWM Recovery will not add to your counter. Just follow the OP steps.
link is down!!! can someone mirror it

Thx, coz I read someone mentioned DON't use Odin to flash that the counter will increase. Jig not works for Note. And currently, found no solution to reset the counter.
And just wanna make sure, Flashing the CWM + Root-Kernel from the kernel package via Odin that won't increase the counter, right ?
Thx.

This account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!
Its Normal at dropbox.

someone mirror them on minus.com ?
Both links are down . Very much like dropbox
I'm uploading another mirror right now (at minus.com).
Sorry for the inconveniences, I simply forgot that the traffic over at dropbox is limited!
Edit: Mirror uploaded, OP updated. Strangely minus.com renamed the archives to .bin ending, so you have to rename them manually to .exe ending after downloading them.

[Guide] How to capture an OTA link for the Oneplus3/T
Step 0: You will need to have adb/fastboot tools setup on your computer. If you don't know how to use these tools, I suggest first learning about how to do so.
Step 1: Make sure you're running the latest version of OxygenOS, just before the update. For example, if you want to capture the OTA link for the 4.5.0 update, then make sure that you're running on the 4.1.7 build.
Step 2: Enable the Developer Options settings. Enable USB debugging. Connect your phone to the computer. In the terminal, type in adb devices. Accept the prompt that appears on your phone, and make sure that the device name shows up on the computer.
Step 3: If your phone has already received the option to OTA update (if you live in Germany, for example), proceed to step 4. If when you click on "update software", you do not see any update, then download a VPN app like Opera from the Play Store, and set the location to Germany.
Step 4:
a. To capture a partial OTA link (under 500mb)
Proceed to step 5.
b. To capture the OTA link of a full update
Your phone needs to be rooted. It is very important to note that just having a custom recovery installed, or having SuperSU installed will not trigger the OTA for a full download. That is because SuperSU roots your phone in a systemless manner. Having a custom kernel installed did not work for me either. Finally, I used phh's SuperSU, which triggered the download for the full update.
Step 5:
In the terminal, type adb logcat > OTA.txt. You can replace OTA.txt with any file name you like. On your phone, go to settings, and click on update software. You will be prompted with an OTA update download based on what you did in step 4. Click start download, and then click pause download. On the computer terminal, type control+C, which will stop the logcat.
Step 6: Now in the folder that you have adb set up, you'll see a text document called OTA.txt. Open this file. Using the search function, search for ".zip", and when you search around that text, you will find a download link, that allows you to manually download the OTA update.
In this manner, you will be able to capture the OTA download link, and download the update zip manually. Hopefully this helps more people capture OTA links in the future, so we have OTA links coming up on XDA faster. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments.
I did not find a thread with the direct OTA link, so I went ahead and captured the OTA link myself. Enjoy
Great guide brother! Salute.
Or you can do another thing.... When your phone completed downloading full zip.. Then it ask you to update and reboot.. The just before reboot (after 100% download finish) don't touch on button that says update and reboot.. Come to home screen then go to file manager.. Go in file manager setting.. Enable Show Hidden folders... Come back to root directory... Then check a folder in root direvtory named ". OTA" (Dot OTA... Yes a Dot is mentioned before OTA).. Open it and take Backup of that 1.5 GB zip... Or if it you download OTA then you also get that one too...

Changelog:
[Sat, May 13 2017]: Initial Release
----------------------------
Screenshots:
Requirements for installing AXES Rom:
1- A Human Brain
2- A PC/Laptop running Windows OS
3- Samsung USB-C Cable (USB-C to USB-A) which obviously comes with your phone in it's retail box.
4- Patience & Time at hand
Make sure to backup your files, contacts and so on before attempting to tamper with your device unofficially as the data residing in your phone's storage will be wiped!
Instructions on installing AXES Rom:
1- Go to your devices Settings ---> About device ---> Software info and tap on it's "Build number" several times in a row till a message appears saying that you have unlocked Developers mode.
Go back one step and you'll find a new option defined as: "Developers mode".
Without further ado select Developers mode in Settings and turn on: "OEM unlock".
2- Make sure the above step is fulfilled before you move on to this step. This guide is case sensitive and your device is on the line in case you do not follow the necessary steps provided in the right sequence and way.
Turn Off your phone completely and press and hold it's Power Button along with it's Volume Down Button & Home Button to enter: "Download Mode".
After the Samsung phone name logo, you will see a blue screen with a warning sign.
Proceed by simply pressing the Volume Up button once as seen on the screen.
Now you are in the: "Download Mode" aka: "Odin Mode" for flashing firmware files using the Samsung flashing tool called Odin.
3- In this step we will be attempting to Flash a Custom Recovery entitled: "TWRP" which stands for: "Team Win Recovery Project".
To do so we will need to download the Odin Windows Application as described above in Step 2 for flashing the custom recovery file.
WARNING: Flashing a custom recovery to your device will trip the Knox warranty bit on your phone. Check with your mobile provider to see if they will still cover warranty on Knox bit triggered devices. If you understand this risk, continue on.
Odin v3.12.3 Download Link:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451
You'll find the link in the attachments section below the thread.
TWRP Recovery v3.0.2.0 (ONLY for SM-A520F/DS) Download Link:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120710156
Once you've download both files from the given links above, extract the folder: "Odin3 v3.12.3" from the Odin3 v3.12.3.zip file to your desktop and move the: "A5-SM-A520F-TWRP-3.0.2.0.tar" file to the Odin folder you just extracted.
Run the Odin3 Application within that folder.
Click on the: "Options" Tab after Log and uncheck: "Auto Reboot" and make sure that: "F. Reset Time" is checked.
Go back to the: "Log" Tab and click on the: "AP" button and select the: "A5-SM-A520F-TWRP-3.0.2.0.tar" file you just moved to the Odin folder in your desktop.
In order for Odin to detect that your phone's connected to your PC/Laptop make sure you have the Samsung Usb Driver for Mobile Phones installed onto your PC/Laptop.
If you already have it installed then simply skip obtaining it from the download link below.
Samsung Usb Driver for Mobile Phones Download Link:
https://yadi.sk/d/uubiaKw6j8bug
Afterwards connect your phone to your PC/Laptop using the Samsung USB-C Cable.
Once Odin displays that your device is connected, hit the: "Start" button below and wait for the file to be done flashing. You will notice above a green progress bar filling up towards the end and also your phone's screen will display a white progress bar to go along with it.
4- Odin will display a green: "Done" box above when it's done flashing TWRP Recovery.
Afterwards we will reboot our phone normally by simply pressing and holding the Volume Up Button and Power Button for a few seconds (around 10 sec.) and then we instantly press and hold the Volume Up Button along with the Power Button and Home Button before we see the Samsung Galaxy A5 Bootlogo in order to successfully boot to TWRP Recovery.
5- You will reach a TWRP Recovery screen asking you if you want to allow system modifications. Swipe right and enable modifications and select: "Don't show this again".
6- For the Internal Storage or Data to work in TWRP Recovery we will have to go to: "Wipe" then "Format Data" (not advanced wipe) and type: "yes".
Go to: "Reboot" and select: "Recovery".
7- Your phone will reboot to TWRP Recovery once again.
If you have the Rom zip file available in your External SD Card then skip Part 1 of this step and move on to Part 2.
Part 1: While running TWRP Recovery on your device, connect your phone to your PC/Laptop using the usb cable and copy the Rom zip file to your phone's Internal Storage.
Part 2: Finally go to: "Install", select storage and select: "Internal" or "External storage" wherever you copied and stored the AXES Rom zip file.
Locate the Rom in either storages, select it and swipe to the right to flash it.
Wait for the Rom to be flashed entirely and then select the reboot option.
Rebooting to the system will require about 5 minutes so be patient and don't forget to report back to us with your experience!
