Hi there,
I have the 64gb/4gb model, has anyone else experienced significantly degraded performance since the update? I read about memory problem in the forum but that seems like it was posted before Pie.
Are there any solutions to this? Anyway we can report it to Google / Xiaomi. Phone was very fast before and now it is sometimes unusable
Thanks

Did you try a hard reset ?
Even the memory problem was solved for me after Pie Update
128gb/6gb user here... so far pie is far more better than Oreo.. I use pie since leaked version around November until the latest update, so far so good.. I didn't feel any slowing down or lag

Hi guys
I got an x1 few days ago. I'm very happy with the phone and I updated it to the new firmware 14.1.G.2.257.
In the last 3 days, after the update, I got 3 random reboots. I don't know if it was happening also with the old firmware cause I used it just for few hours.
Now I'd like to understand if it is a software problem so I need just to wait for a new firmware or it is an hardware issue so I need to return the phone.
Thanks to anyone would help me.

in all honesty since having this phone i have not had one random reboot. When ever i upgrade firmware i always do a fullwipe to rule any issues out. But one thing i have seen happen is some apps can cause reboots, some apps cause wakelocks and some apps can cause battery drain. What i would do as a test is reflash firmware and dont install any other apps other than your standard google apps, see how that goes

thanks my only concern is about hardware but I don't think this is the case... maybe there is a bad memory management in this firmware? I read about other people having issues like this.

I really dont know, i keep hearing so may contrasting issues with this phone. I have not had 1 issue with the phone, but everywhere i see soo many issues, im certain theres a bad batch of z1's out there. I don't think its a hardware issue in your case, i cant really be sure about the memory management becuase this newer firmwares changelog included better memory management. i really think you should start from scratch as a test, and slowly add other apps, this way you can slowly eliminate whats causing this issue.

It does make sense... I'll try
I'm getting really mixed reviews for the lollipop update lately. Some love it, some hate it, some haven't even gotten it. I'm just curious towards the majority of opinions for the new update. So, should we or should we not update?
For me, it was great. Everything worked fine and you get the awesomeness of Android Lollipop. I've seem some people with problems with Xposed, but I don't use that.

Have you noticed any performance problems? Like slow menus or animations? I myself don't have the update, but that's a common problem I hear.
I tried it for short, but it was quite somewhat laggy and not as fast as I am now used to have on custom roms.
But I am interested what other users got to say
Lollipop and KitKat from LG both has terrible RAM management. I had to restart my phone every 48h to stop it from restarting my apps.
Besides that it's quite a good ROM. Very stable, bug free. Workes much faster than KitKat.

No, to me, it's faster than kitkat, but that might be because I flashed the kdz then reset the phone. I don't use CM because video recording doesn't work.
So after rooting my l90's I noticed my OTA updated one was at least 5 times slower than my offline updated ones. This is not an exaggeration, while installing an app, I was able to remove apps on my other phone, and install the same app, before the app finally installed on the OTA updated phone. That's just the start, menus are slower and there is tons of lag. I'm not sure exactly if it's the OTA that is the issue, but all of my l90s are at most a month old, and were purchased at the same time, so I doubt it's hardware. The firmware of the ota is identical to the offline updated, although I can't definitively determine if updating over the air is the issue because I only have one phone with the OTA. That being said I have also reflashed the same firmware with the offline method onto the ota, and it has made no changes.
Hi guys,
I have encountered massive sudden unresponsiveness about 3 times since I've got the phone and I'm trying to troubleshoot the problem.
The phone becomes very unresponsive with extreme lag and eventually after a long wait it reboots itself. I saw it twice on Nougat leaked beta and just today, on official OOS4.
On one occasion I encountered while it was charging in the car, and navigating. It was frustrating as GPS wasn't reliable. Phone felt warm too.
However, on other occasions, I was doing some simple tasks like browsing FB and the issue started. I highly doubt this is CPU throttling as I I've gotten the phone hotter before without any problems.
Now, is there any app which logs CPU resources in the background? Kinda like Windows task manager which tells you which app is hogging resources. I have Wakelock detector which is great, but the app using more batt is not necessarily the culprit.
So far, I replaced LightFlow with LED blinker and will monitor. Any ideas, feel free to share.
Thanks for reading!

if you saw these on Nougat leaked beta, its normal, because as the name says, its an old build, not the one that came out before EOY. On official build, its normal as well, being Beta 1 build. I`m using it too, and I encounter a lot of lag, small freezes , and things like there. These are going to be fixed, but we just need to simply wait for OnePlus to do their job. And I`m ok with this, since I`m also working in development branch and I know how their processes work

Thanks. I've searched quite a bit for this issues but I couldnt find it. I felt that nobody else saw it. The occurrence might be low, but the problem is big. Phone becomes unusable for quite a substantial amount of time.
Lets see how it goes.

Have you tried to reset to factory settings after update? That might help

I didn't feel the need for it, as all my installs were clean from scratch. So having this issue across at least 2 FW tells me that it's likely a rogue app causing this..
What about the stable version of Nougat here?

Yup.. I am using that right now. Saw the issue once so far.
Hard to say if it's a rogue app without knowing which apps you have installed
I'd recommend a factory reset since that's usually the first troubleshooting step. Try installing apps back slowly, and only the ones you absolutely need. I'm on the stable nougat build and haven't noticed that happen with me yet.
Hi, I recently ordered an x2 pro (Global) based on its great on paper specs and the huge amount of glowing reviews on YouTube. But after I ordered I read on Realme's forums and a little on here about users experiencing multiple bugs in the newest update (c26) Including but not limited to , massive battery drain, slower charging, phone overheating, decrease in SOT by as much as 60%+, low FPS in games (especially PUBG), lag in launcher, microphone not working in calls unless you cycle speakerphone on/off etc. So that's a bummer if true. My question is kind of a poll of how many are experiencing this, or if its everyone? And if it is everyone, what is the recommended newest build until a fix comes out ? How is c24? Is it worth the minor bugs to have the newer interface, or is it just as unstable where I should just avoid Realme UI all together right now and just get the latest Color OS build ? Thanks and I look forward to everyones opinions and info.
Most of what you saw on C26 is not true ! What is true is loss of SOT primarily ! A significant portion of it ! Around 2 hours for me from 9 hours to 7 and that is really bad ! About PubG that is the game not the phone , to minimize "lag" use performance mode on game space ! Charging still is fine !
Remember most users are from India and summer is here so any phone will heat up .
What I recommend for most people that has their bootloader unlocked and has some custom recovery flashed is to go back to C24 . No battery problems and lags , is the best RealmeOS update FOR NOW !
Good luck ! You will love your new toy ?

Yeah the C24 android update is good , I can't find anywhere , but finally I found in Russian realme website , anyone wants to get this firmware , just download it from their site , the charging animation and the speed of the phone is also good .
Anyone know how to block the ota's ???
Thanks guys, going to install c24... It is prompting me to update to c26 from a10.... Anyone know how to disable ota's (temporarily) until a new update is out then I can turn it back on... If I knew what server it was checking I could block it or something. Anyone that know how to do this please let me know. Thanks in advance.
No real issues on c26 for me and I know a lot of people are happy,
No battery drain,in fact getting 10 and half hours SOT according to Accubattery,
Only charging once in the morning for 15 minutes,
Not a gamer so don't have the game lag that may just be an issue with the game such as PUBG,
No lag in launcher for me,using stock launcher with animations off,
Sound quality is actually louder and clearer for me than previous RUI updates
Only thing I did notice is occasionally hang in chrome where would just have to close chrome to get out.
C.24 I had worse issues with sound, hanging and phone restarting itself with flashing Realme logo.

Definitely,The newest update c27 is even better and as stable as colorOs,I Am in Europe but both the Indian and EU software is the same so you could get the software file from either support page and update, just download and use the file manager app to select the download file,
Easy

hi, i have an s10+ exynos (g975f) and i think i have been having problems since i updated from android 9 to 10 from updater. First, when I'm typing the s10 it seems to get stuck because I'm typing at a normal speed but keyboard puts other words!!!!!! this is very annoying, I was about to throw my phone on the floor!!!
Second, my phone is overheating more than usual, and this version has a lot of bugs with a lot of apps, even when i updated them. Really this cellphone has cost me much money i don't like to hate it. has this problem happened to someone else? i have some experience flashing phones (old models) but i think i know how to use odin and other programs well, and i wanna know what you recommend me guys, i would like to root with magisk the stock rom but i don't know in what version i can do that, i didn't like android 10 so much because of this errors, i just want compatibility with all and work calm and i don't want to flash custom roms because i need Samsung's original apps like gear 360.
I have heard the best rom for this model is stock rooted? I wanna know how to extend the battery life too, it has increased since the update.
What can I do guys?
Note: I did the Android 10 update without wiping data
Hi bro,
Even i have the same exynos model indian version and i dont face any lagging lr freezing issue like u have told above but even i face the heating issue.
I think u should format your device once it may help.
when my phone update to Android 10, I wipe the data clean and I have no issue with the phone at all. You should try it.
