Can we flash only csc file via Odin? Do I need pit file?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
up
same question I would like to ask, which are Odin switches for the only CSC flashing?
Can I move from a multi CSC to a specific CSC (i.e.: H3G Tre Italy) and viceversa?
Thanks in advance!
I just flash the CSC no partition or pit file needed. Just make sure to *#272*XXXX# after flashing to switch over to the correct CSC.
Does it still work on Froyo? Just tried flashing Teltra's CSC onto a JPP build and TEL CSC isnt an option inside CSC Selection.

[Q] Where do I download csc for JPY firmware?

As title above
Why do you need it? Becausee you can change csc with *#272*YOUR IMEI# and then you select one that you need from menu if it's listed. Before doing this backup up your settings and data, apps....etc because once you change CSC and phone reboots and new csc installs phone does cleanup.

Sign up, log in, select your phone, then the firmware.
It should include the CSC file

[Q] need help urgent pls............

my i9000 got stuck in galaxy gt i90000 logo....
how to boot it again with diferent rom.......
it can get in to downloade mode......
need help and steps to flash a rom i am from india ........
You can find instructions on www.samfirmware.com. Just go to the rom download page. You will need to create an account first.
Anyway, it's quite straight forward. Open Odin, plug your phone into your PC with download mode on. Put the pit file in pit, the pda file in pda, phone in phone and csc in csc. (Some roms only have a single file instead of 3. That means the phone and csc is combined with pda, so just put that in pda). Leave partition unchecked. Flash.

[Q] Phone is not booting after i have repartitioned HELP!

Ok so here is the problem.
My phone randomly shutdown about a week ago and will not reboot since. Every time i try to start it up it flashes the Galaxy S start screen again and again.I tried the 3 button recovery mode and that wont work but luckily the phone is still able to go into the download mode. I downloaded odin and repartitioned the phone with the 512.pit file and now i need to flash on my firmware but i am not sure what firmware i need to use (as in which PDA, Modem and CSC). I bought the phone in Canada unlocked and i was using it in the UK. I have tried flashing with several files but they didnt work i think i was not using the right combo. So ya the problem is what files do i need to get for the odin flash and what is the correct procedure. I would appreciate the help a lot cause i dont want to pay 40 pounds to get it fixed by some Dodgey phone shop.
Go here http://www.samfirmware.com
I assume you'll have to find a ROM from Canada\US JP2 JP5
Flash with ODIN, re-partition checked, PDA, CSC & MODEM files added from download mode.
Do i need a MODEM and CSC or is just the PIT and PDA file enough to get the phone working. If i need a MODEM and CSC which ones will i need for the JP5 ?
Please Help someone...I have been smartphone less for more than a week now. I just want to know what PIT PDA PHONE and CSC files i need to get my phone working.
Try the instructions in this thread, there's also a video if you need it
