Hello i completly remaked and upgraded old do not working module for new Magisk 17++.
Warning, dont work with Magisk 19++
Version for 19++ is fixed by DessertArbiter here:

My new name for this module is Volume Steps Plus for Magisk.
With this module you can change number of volume steps fo Call or Media how you want.
Preset is 25 for media and 10 for In-Call volume steps.
You need have instaled Magisk 17.0++.
And maybe (i am not sure), if this module don't work for you, try install BusyBox module for Magisk.
Command for edit values in terminal is:
su
VoSte
Must be write like you see. Uppercase V and S.
Important: If you have already installed older version when 1.2.0 or other Steps Plus module by some else, you must remove older version i Magisk frst.

Sorry but download working for me, i uploded file here on server.

Hello, its a same mechanism what me use too in module.
Maybe you must remove the version what you use and try install my.
You must reset phone after you install new module, and after you set new values, you must reset phone again.
PS: I tested it on Magisk 17.3 and module was working and on Magisk 18.0 i working too.
Command must be: VoSte - Must be uppercase V and S.

Strange, I first installed your module, rebooted, changed the values in Terminal Emulator and rebooted again.
You should mention that su is necessary in terminal.
Nevertheless it didn't work.
Which phone and ROM are you using?

I use LineageOS 14.1 and i have Magisk 18 with active Magisk Hide and Systemless hosts data.
It works on mimix2 xiaomi eu rom v.8.12.27 magisk v.18 Thank you

I tried this and the other module again, both are working for media volume, but not for ringtone volume. I guess it's a restriction for MIUI ROM.
Xiaomi.eu ROM 8.12.27 on Poco F1 with Magisk 17.3.

It is the same version, just few fixes in style and in text.
I tryed uinstall module from my phone, download here install it, but everythink is ok, i don't know what is wrong for you in module. New version works fine for me and old version worked too.
I always test it before i upload module here.
It works fine for me but when this module is active my device does not pass SaftyNet check in magisk witch is required for me to use some other apps. My device is Xiaomi mi A2 running stock android 9 pie and magisk v18.1

Dou you have installed safetypatch v2 magisk module? And have you installed busybox module?

I tried this in my oppo and got it working on Lollipop despite ColorOS being used. Didn't need buildprop mods in that. The Mate 7 has the custom navbar which creates problems. Just installed Xposed on the Mate 7. Edit your buildprop first if you want to try it because Xposed framework install stops navbar working if you don't. About to test it, rebooting. System optimising.
I may flash back my TWRP backup as I don't really need Xposed on this phone, but I did need it with the oppo as it's my daily driver now and my music player. If MinMinGaurd works properly it will be worth keeping because the pop up ads here on XDA make me insane! I almost stopped visiting this site because of them and I won't pay every three months to be ad free. That's extortion.
I'd be happy to donate to the cause for better reasons, but ads are one thing I detest and a reason I start to dislike Google. Now XDA follows with this......
EMUI actually replaces a lot of tweaks I used to use Xposed for anyway.
Do not do this without doing a recovery backup first!

I did the buildprop alteration and it boots ok, no bootloops and navbar still works with hide and pulldown present.
Will install a few modules and test. Gravitybox runs but can't use a lot of the cosmetic alteration settings of course. I do now have my skipping music tracks with volume buttons and changed it to 25 volume steps. YES!!!

I found most modules won't work but the phone is stable and framework is stable and active.
I have installed ActivityForceNewTask but not sure if it's doing anything yet.
Gravitybox (not many settings activated as some will FC the UI or just not work) which does work for some settings I wanted.
MinMinGaurd (add blocker) which is working.
VolumeSteps+ (only changed number of volume steps for all audio streams as other checkbox settings don't work)

You won't be able to customise cosmetic things in the Mate 7 because of EMUI.
If that's all you want Xposed for, don't install it.
If you fiddle too much trying to make cosmetic changes to the UI, it will force close or bootloop.
You need to have a rooted phone with a decent file manager like ES
That first line is in the buildprop but has a 1 at the end. Change that to 0.
The second line needed to be added in mine, then save the file and reboot.
In buildprop, the 1 or 0 is a digital switch, on or off. Like options of true or false.

I understand what you say but when a was on Lollipop i use Xposed with module like flat bar indicator and that work fine.
For buildprop i don't find any line with ro.config.hwtheme or ro.config.hw_theme.
Maybe because i'm in B513 still beta in France. If it's not possible to change icon bar or something I think rollback my phone to Lollipop.

I think his message got lost in translation somewhat. Lucky Patcher and Xposed are two separate things. Lucky Patcher is used to patch (it's in the name lol) applications to do things like add new features, emulate in app purchases (ie free IAPs) and so on. It also does not require Xposed, only root access.
Xposed is something entirely different, and is also something I do not know much about. I will definitely install this and see if it works.
KoganFR, you're likely to be right about the difference with MM and LP. Mine is on B331 LP. It runs stable, no bugs so didn't want to risk MM and never tried it.

Q: Why its need to depend on a framework?
A:
1. To make the module size smaller.
2. Update faster.
3. Fix bug faster.
4. Less code to write.
5. . . . as more. .. .. as you explore. .. . .
Q: What is the deference?
A:
1. When you first installing AlienoidMod one of its function is cloning audio config files from your system, ....yes cloning, not only coping because it not only copy the config files from system but also their respective permissions, se-context etc. Then when u install ViPERFX module it utilize those audio config files AlienoidMod cloned before and utilize several functions from. So you can use several Audio Mods for Magisk (if based on AMF) all togather.
2. If you are a module developer you do not need to put lines of config file's codes in any audio lib file, all you have to do is use the 'amf' command line interface, which is very simple. like currently
'audmod <source dir> <target dir>'
or
'amf audmod <source dir> <target dir>'
command can clone the all necessary config files from source to target directory.
3. I'm also writing more functions for 'amf' command line interface to make it more powerful that you could use in various type of modules.

I had a similar issue, try installing the alienoidmod module, rebooting and then installing the viper module.

All necessary audio config will cloned by AlienoidMod and All V4A patching n Deep buffer removing will done by the ViPERFX module.

For two of you and other, I want to inform that as this is at in testing stage and builds are now testing so I don't changing the version code for new builds during this testing periods so when I updated a new test build all you have to do is follow the steps below.
1. Remove previous test version AlienoidMod, ViPERFX and other module related to them from Magisk app.
2. Reboot
3. Install AlienoidMod form Magisk app or twrp
4. Reboot
5. Install ViPERFX and or other AlienoidMod module from Magisk app or twrp but if, then you have to keep a reboot gap between them.
6. Reboot.
That means you have to install freshly after a new test build comes. Please consider this boring kinda steps while this testing period. When the release build will come you don't have to do this necessarily.

Same issue here. I'm on latest global miui 8. (8.5.4.0)
If I press "yes" to install the driver, nothing happens.

It's the same thing on RR 5.8.4. Viper4Android requires reinstall the driver.
On Samsung 6.0.1, I even cannot install your modules sucessfully. Both AlienoidMod and ViPERFX modules status shows "Module will be updated at next reboot". If I flash your modules through recovery, modules status shows "No info provided".

INTRODUCTION
I have finally found a way to fix the Xposed incompatibility with MIUI 9. If the official v88.1 is not working on your device then try this. Take in mind: this modded version of Xposed it's for MIUI 7.9.21 and higher! We can use this version which works perfectly until rovo89 solves the MIUI incompatibility.

Have you provided Rovo with the requested files? I think it's better to help him so we have official support/version on Miui from the master himself then a "hacked" version.

BTW I tried this on Mido (Redmi Note 4 Global version Snapdragon) but it bootloops there are 3 vibrations after a while but nothing happen. Miui 9 7.9.15 beta.

Thank you for your hard work, it partially works, only one problem I want to report: If I disable the 'Disable resource hook' option on the xposed installer settings menu(which was enabled by default interestingly), the device bootloops. This is strange for me, because even if I don't install any app that using the resource hooking stuff, it still bootloops. So some modules are not working because of this. Can you test if modules that are using resource hooking, works for you? (MinMinGuard, or Flat Style Keyboard for example) My device is Xiaomi MI6 xiaomi.eu 7.10.12 7.1.1 by the way.

What? The "disable resource book" it's not actived by default!
For me (Mi Note 2, MIUI 7.9.21) Everything works perfectly, also modules like xmiui which uses rousources hooking, but only partially becouse it's for MIUI 8, not for 9.

DOWNLOAD ROM

First time installing crDroid to your MIX 2S, or coming from another ROM:
***To boot it up, use miui oreo as base, it doesnt boot on pie miui versions***
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
a)If somehow it isn't booting, you will have to format data (cause of encryption)
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
-Volte (it might be my carrier too, test it by yourself)
-Gcam is force closing(MGC_5.3.015_MI8_V1a), i will try to fix it (it might take a while, cause im new in terms of compiling roms etc.)
No other bugs encountered yet, if you have any post in thread and i will try to help.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

If you use a lock with root access, and not an application by the administrator, then fingerprint unlocking works fine
This might be crdroid specific issue.

when I work with the launcher, I have problems, if I launch the app / widget and then press the "home" button and re-launch it - the animation is disrupting.
A bug appears when using any launcher.
Okay, but this is probably crdroid source bug, since the trees i use are stable (i think).

NEXT UPDATE will be when crDroid base updates, i might fix gcam till the update comes, also i heard dt2w works for some people and for some not, i will look into it and try to fix it as soon as possible, bc im a human too, and cant use my computer(im still in school) all the time.
PS. you can use this rom with every miui based oreo, cause I tried with pie based miui and it didnt boot.
