I can't, because I haven't got the device. @jjjhitel or @DasNuddel should've made stock kernel and edit framework, not edit the kernel.

But how did you make AOD works on a kernel based on basic touchwiz , not Grace UX ? And maybe A3 and A5 have same chipset but samsung limit scaling frequence and cores to 4Cores/1.5Ghz . Thanks if you can help dasnuddel make AOD works on Arrived ROM ????

You need to edit the framework to work directly with the kernel, you need to take a log, follow the log and then make it up.

So the question is why they dont do that maybe because after working aod they rom will be fully upgraded amd the ttead will be not popular so much A

I don't think so. It will save them alot of time (1-2weeks).

This a a port of an amazing Rom by Parth111999, Radioactive V1. Please go to his post here [url]https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j7/development/rom-t3713641[/URL] and give him a thanks. I will post some screenshots when I have a chance, but if you go to the link above, you can see the screenshots there as this is a full port of his rom. Mr.Duck254 has compiled one of the best kernels I have ever seen, this battery with said kernel is by far the best this device has ever seen. Also, BOLO. He has some monsters of Roms on the horizon, he is the man when it comes to this device as personally development on the US J7 had grown stale. Now, we are invigorated with new gusto and development has and will continue to grow in strides equal to that of the international J7 community. So thanks to those devs over there as well. This rom has it all, and no blue light filter will never work cuz of the hardware of the device.
Install instructions
Put all required files on external SD card
it should be the rom, oreo beta edge zip, systemless root of your choice, then the encryption breaker.
Next you should boot to recovery, wipe everything but internal and external storage.
Then flash the rom, edge, root, and encryption breaker.
the awesome boot logo will start and then turn off its normal with root, then the second time around the watchdogs animation will start and boot takes about ten mins. Setup your phone and enjoy.

Only two, at boot it will say edge screen stops, click close and carry on.
app linking on app edge causes a force close, its a oreo feature so just not compatible with Nougat

No, it cannot it is like that with nougat. Im not sure if you noticed but its with every nougat build. Android fixed that problem with 8.0 best advice is after you type pin hit recents then recents again it should make it quicker. I noticed it first when we got the 7.1.1 update.

then you tell me that is a failure next in all ROMs nougat.

I said that cuz it is a major glitch and if u don't believe me don't ask me. I have no reason to make it up. Go flash stock and try it . It does the same thing. I'm running revolution right now and it does it on this.i finally ported fast rom it does it on that. I ported on8v2 and it does it there. It does it on nova. It's a nougat bug. Hitting recent kills the delay.

So in other news I did find a way for blue light. With our next rom it's working

I think you did not realize my question or the translator did not work well, but in this error in stock, it never occurred to me only now that I tried this ROM, I just ask if the error is found in all ROM nougat these models that was my question

Sorry man I didn't realize you used a translator. Yes it is in stock and I have not found a nougat rom that doesn't have this bug. My apologies. Wait till you see what is to come.

Yes we are working on them

I really like Dr Ketan's rom for the note 4 and note edge, he was up to nougat when I lost my note edge. Idk if he's still building these ROMs or if he would let you port. He seemed a little protective of his work... Just an idea though

Though I doubt you can do anything with Dr Ketan's rom. Is really like to see an AOSP based ROM...maybe resurrection remix, oxygen os, nitrogen os, dirty unicorn, etc....something pure Android or very close

I'll post a project roadmap and a kind of "support policy" in a couple of days to set expectations. Basically, all comes to "if you made any modifications - it's your decision and you can't expect any help". It's pretty... spartan-stylish, but after all we're focused on walking the walk, not talking the talk.

@karevn Thanx for your work on this Xiaomi forsaken phone, as well as all the other devs! I'm using the rom since about a week, very stable so far.The only problem i have with latest build is some "click" sounds when i'm talking on whatsapp on wifi, didn't test it with data or any other app till now.If anyone else having this problem i'll try getting a logcat, else i'll try a clean install first.
A small request, since it's unofficial, can we have a network monitor on the status bar?It's very useful in general.
And a question, is 2.2 ghz the maximum we can squeeze from this cpu?Can we reach 2.4-2.5 even at the cost of increased power consumption?I'll be happy to help in this direction since i have some experience.

The main goal of this project is to provide a stable usable rom with smooth performance. So, I'll never integrate any bells, whistles or serious overclocking/undervolting. Snapdragon 625 is good as it is - fast and power-efficient with careful configuration.
On the WhatsApp thing - check if the is WhatsApp-specific or system-wide. If it's system-wide - post an issue at my github tracker.

I'm using your ROM since November if i remember correctly, and it is fantastic!
I'm even reading 4pda thread (translated by google) just to check your messages, updates and whatsoever!
This rom is fantastic, but i have to tune a bit because on MY Redmi (not on others, since i did not read anyting related in xda nor 4pda) i have spontaneous reboot.
I'm mitigating them using "interactive" CPU so i get about 1 reboot a day "only" (i even tryed to use only 3g or 4g). With impulse i have many reboots
With Voodoo Kernel i have no reboots. It seems some tweaks you did, don't work very well with just my own device
However with one of your rom/kernel it was all perfect (it was the one you gave us just without hotplug, about 2 months ago).
I know you are asking for logs, but it is just my device who has such problems, so i will not ask you to check just for me

how do i use Default System icon like RR in Lineage Os ??

Any of you need any translations or proofreading, just in case? I'm a frequent visitor on xda and an occasional visitor of 4pda and fluent in both languages. Would be glad to help.
Using this ROM right now, extremely stable, battery life is probably the best I've seen on markw - 12 hours later I still have over 50% and that's with a lot of usage including videos and music, OTAs actually work (are they pulled from the google drive? I'm just curious how someone managed to make it work on an UNofficial ROM, it's amazing) albeit only on the next day after the installation, only had one app crash a few times and I probably know the cause. Very smooth, LED works fine, no longer randomly reboots on low 2G signal or at all. No bloat or random apps I just don't use that other ROM devs force in there (some launcher - I either use the google one or Trebuchet, Substratum - I don't even use it at all, I much prefer the stock look, Xposed - If I really want/need it I'll rather install it myself). Generally very pleased to actually get rid of MIUI AND also have a fully functioning device running a ROM that doesn't need 10 fixes and a kernel flashed afterwards.

Big thanks for this Rom is the best what i have use! But i have onley one Problem. The LED dont works for any App. But wen i Charge my Phone IT works. I have Do a clean wipe install. Is there anywhat wat i can Do?

i use nova launcher & Rounded Edge is available on RR but Lineage hasn't . i want to turn Round Edge from Default in Lineage .

Now im on the last xiaomi.eu built based on miui 9 , but MM, but i was looking to jump to nougat.
I had the aicp, and the RR, but between the few bugs of then, to me the worst has the lost of network cover.
How this version work? And agaisnt over Los built here, what have diferent?

I don't have the latest Twrp 3.3.0 .but i think 3.2.3 might do the job or am i wrong??

Well I only observed front camera bug within few hours of usage. It is very stable like oreo 8.1.0 if the front camera bug can be fixed.
Since @KassemSYR has been able to port it and fixed front camera, I would advise you download his ported rom. I only need the fixed because I had already flashed j7 prime 2(g611f) and I don't have much data to download the ported rom.

im currently using the blackbird os, it seems really good rom all is working.. i hope mr @KassemSYR will provide how to fix the front cam for stock g611f

Hello friend, I tried to install the rom through twrp, but an error appears (error E1001: failed to update system image). I use the latest version of twrp 3.3.1-0. my device is the 530H xxu. I installed LineageOS 17.1 GO 08.04 without any problems, but this one has a bug of not loading instagram effects, sorry for my english.

Thank for letting me know ur problem , btw i am also using the same twrp image with latest update amd also the things is doing good without any bug in a rom ; i think u just need to reflash the image of twpr or use another theme such as pitch black recovery for ur device , which i have uploaded earlier on this android development page so plss check it ok , lastly i would recommend u too plss reflash the rom again ot use some custom kernel for ur device . Instagram latest updates have some bugs on start of app , so plss try to reinstall the app once again .

Yes my bro this is my stable rom, everything is working well and fine , u don't need to worry about any thing , pixel experience ROM is known for it's battery life and performance , so u don't need to worry about anything ,just simply flash it and enjoy the experience of real pixel phones.
