Hello guys . I recently got my mi8 SE and I must say I am loving it. Coming from stock Android to MIUI there's one thing that it anoying me a lot.
When ever I am on a call the phone makes notification sounds even when there's no notification. Makes a dung sound. I am currently running mi globe 8 12 20

Its been almost a month using this Beast. Last week i installed AOSP by Ivan 4.10.15. Suddenly yesterday my phone vibration became weird. Don't know what happened to it. I mean it was working fine. Now whenever my phone vibrates its making a crack sound & Trust me it really very annoying & It looks like Damaged Speakers. But i checked everything the sound is working fine.
PS: Tried MIUI 6 N MIUI 5.. Problem Still Occurs.
My Xiaomi MI 9 won't ring for incoming calls sometimes, it will only do so after I have rebooted it.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is there a permanent solution?

Which firmware? Try another one like Syberia

Let's go over the basics
Is it muted? (DND)
Does it have a ringtone?
Did you cover the speaker?
Was it a recent update?
How long has it been lasting?
Redmi Note 8 Pro phone not ringing for incoming calls. Sometimes caller gets busy signal when phone is not busy. Happens often but not every time, like the phone has a bug or mind of it's own. Therefore receiving calls is NOT RELIABLE> Ringtone, alerts, and settings does not fix the problem. I have a Redmi Xiomi Note 8 Pro 6gb, anroid version 10 AP1A. This is unacceptable for a phone product. What is the solution, trash the Xiomi brand and buy what? (I already don't like Apple).
I have owned an MI 9 T Pro 6/128 for about 4 months.
MIUI Global 11.0.6| Stabile 11.6.0(QFKEUXM) Android 10QKQ1.190825.002.
For about a month, when I make a call, I hear the caller's voice perfectly, but he / she does not hear me. I close and recall and everything works normally.
Tired of this unsustainable situation I made a hard reset, but unfortunately the problem recurs.
Will it be appropriate to ask the seller for a replacement?

I have a n10pro running the stock global 12.5 MIUI software. Whenever I do voice calls with my neice, she tells me my mic keeps cutting out and sometimes I'm very quiet where she can't even hear me. It does tend to start happening after a few minutes.
I have set Snapchat so that it has no battery restrictions and I have also set it to autostart.
Another issue is that sometimes my Snapchat notifications won't play the notification sound when receiving a message or snap.
I'm tempted to try the xiaomi.eu to see if it's any better but I would prefer to stay with stock for now. I usually only start using custom Ron's when my phone starts losing support from the OEM.
Other than this I absolutely love the phone, especially for the price.
edit: Went ahead and flashed xiaomi.eu and it seems to be fine now. And as added bonuses, xiaomi.eu has some nice features that are missing in the global rom, like more AOD settings and double tap to sleep from the homescreen. Very happy with the EU rom so far.

after almost 1 year with my mi11 pro miui 12 , im facing a problem - i cant hardlly hear on my Ear calling Speaker problem ...the top of the item (not the speakers)!
its turn till the max volume , also cheacked on the settings , but i cant hardlly hear .
The problem of the very weak sound only on the ear side , not the speakers .
i didnt upgrade yet to miui 13 , waiting for twrp .
can someone help me with this case?

So basically calls are quiet? Yeah, my MI 11 is similar. People said, try cleaning the speaker grille.
Or, I've also seen a tip where you turn on Mono audio. Haven't tried that one.
But call volume is also awful on OnePlus.
Call volume in my experience:
Google pixels (3a, 4a): 11/10. Super loud, super clear.
Samsung (s7, note 9, note 10+): 10/10
Xiaomi: 6/10
OnePlus (7 pro, 9r, 9 pro): 1/10 (its absolutely awful)
I had the same problem on an s7 edge and on another low-end cell phone it wasn't loud, so I cleaned it with a child's toothbrush and everything was resolved
