Hi guys,
i have a Mate 10 pro on which i've installed an android PIE rom and i would like to install the stock firmware (emui 9.0).
I've downloaded the update file (update.zip and update_full_BLA-L09_hw_eu.zip) but im not quite sure if i can simply flash them using twrp recovery.
Could you please help me and explain me a little bit how to proceed and install EMUI 9.0
Many thanks

You can't directly flash those with TWRP, you can use HuRupdater but going through that forum I haven't seen anyone use it to flash pie over pie (yet) from reading the forum on that tool it seems to be a pretty simple task.

I have Paul O'Brien's stock L09C432B136 ROM which used to serve me well but for sone reason when doing the 3 finger flash it comes up with software incompatibility error.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to downgrade to marshmallow?
Use the beta rollback downloads from Huawei website
More info?
I must reinterate I've successfully upgraded via b136 to nougat but I thought that a full stock ROM is able to "take over" and completely flash stock ROM.

I was on Eva-l09c432b178 and i have downloaded the rollback package for Europe and now my phone shows Eva-c900b300 (intermediate firmware)
After this i am still trying c432b136 full firmware, c432b182 as well on sd card dload via 3 button method, but i am stuck at 5% and fail. which firmware i should go for ?
I would use the firmware listed with the rollback package, I believe they are paired for the fact the work together. In my case for the UK the rollback package was paired with b166. Worked perfectly for me. Then you can apply b132,
still no luck with the c432b166 firmware provided in the link, i was on c432b378, i followed the instructions of rollback and now my fone show c900b300 but after that i am unable to apply EVA-L09C432B166, its stucks on 5% and fails, then fone shows message to restart.

I got stuck on B300. What I did was use SRK tool to install TWRP & use that all wipe B300. With no OS I then used SRK tool to reinstall MM recovery. From there I installed the Paul O'Brien B136 from dload. If you are confident your B166 is good you might want to try that.
Problem solved, i was transferring the update.app files via data cable and i was getting errors, i just used a card reader and transferred the dload folder to sdcard and it was all ok. its strange but worked for me. now i am on c432b182
Hello everyone, I'm using magicrainbow version 3. Now I want to go back to android 6.0 emuix 4.xx have not. It can be loaded via twrp or huawei's rollback file, or loaded via dload. If you were using MR v3, please be aware of post #3 in that thread that descrobes how to go by HWOTAs back to stock Android N, from MR v3
It was alse discussed many times in the same thread how to rollback from N to MM.
You can search through the MR v3 thread for rollback or roll-back and you will find posts describing the process
Generally, you must not rollback directly from MR v3 to Android A, it cannot work
First I have to go back to android N stock. Then use rollback to MM. very thank you for the help.: tốt:: tốt:

Is any way to get OTA updates so that the root is preserved? Even if there TWRP will be broken, the main thing is to keep the root access.
Can i not downgrade my phone to android 7 and just unlock the bootloader? or is it necessary to downgrade it? i have nokia 5 android 8.1 btw..

Hi,
We're all waiting for this famous update to Android EMUI 10?
I have a solution for you!
Test on version C432 Only!!!! test at your own risk on the other versions... I am in no way responsible for your actions.
/!\This method has the effect of resetting the phone!
> Remember to make a backup if necessary beforehand! (via HiSuite on computer for example)
I couldn't be held responsible for a possible phone brick or anything else, if you've never "tweaked" phones, just wait for them by OTA on HiSuite.
In the first case there you need a stock firmware, no superchouche of operator.
If you have firmware with superouche of operator, you must downgrade to version 9.1.0.310.
If you are on stock firmware and have version 9.1.0.346 or 9.1.0.0.347 you can switch to Android EMUI 10 directly if not you need at least to update your Phone to version 9.1.0.346 or 9.1.0.347.
If you are on firmware stock in 9.1.0.346 or 9.1.0.0.347
You are required to have a USB stick with a Type C -> USB adapter or a NanoSD.
1. Download the update file ANDROID EMUI 10 UPDATE CLICK TO DOWNLOAD
2. Extract the "Software" folder from the ZIP file
3. Format your USB key in "exFAT" format
4. Copy the "dload" folder that is located in the "Software" folder that you just extracted to the root of your USB/NanoSD Key.
5. Open your dialer and type "*#*##2846579#*#**" without the quotes
6. Click on "4. Software Upgrade" then on "Memory Card Upgrade"
7. Your phone will ask you to restart, do not disconnect the USB/NanoSD Key!
8. The update will done your phone will restart within 5 to 10 minutes (automatic default reset data)
9. Enjoy you are in Android EMUI 10
If you are in firmware with superchouche of operator
To get ANDROID 9.1.0.346/347 you need to drop to 9.1.0.310 to update to 9.1.0.346/347 without sim card inserted.
You are required to have a USB stick with a Type C -> USB adapter or a NanoSD.
Important /!\\
Remove your sim card during all operations, you could insert it only from the moment your phone is updated to 9.1.0.346 or 9.1.0.347, if you insert it before it will not work!
1. Download the update file ANDROID EMUI 9.1.0.310 UPDATE CLICK TO DOWNLOAD
8. The downgrade will done your phone will restart within 5 to 10 minutes (automatic default reset data)
9. Update your phone to version 9.1.0.346 or 9.1.0.0.347
10. Check your updates with HiSuite, then look at the file "SystemUpdate_xxxxxxxxxxxxx.log" in the folder :
"C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\HiSuite\log"

Right, install twrp through odin, make sure you boot straight into twrp from download mode. Then wipe date and reboot recovery not the system. Then flash the multi disable zip from the download link. Then flash magisk and reboot. All done
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TBp5hIrzIljYvOquI1H9L78YFtskxMDn/view?usp=drivesdk
So what if I already have twrp on my android 9 ,but now I wanna flash android 10
You got me there bud, My advice would to try a dirty flash to android 10 with Odin, but chances are you may need to flash twrp again not to sure.
Thanks, so what would I need to install twrp on my android 10(s9)
Just follow the instructions above with the link you need to flash that file after you flash twrp to stop the boot loop. Obviously you need Odin to flash twrp
