What's the point except putting your CPU underload? The screen doesn't have 4K resolution anyway

Watch what exactly?
Like I said, the screen is not a 4K resolution screen, therefore even if u set the video to 4K, you're watching a 1080p video whilst putting ur CPU under extra loads

Fool's logic....support @SleepingAran s post. You are repeating a Microsoft error message text/post....technically correct information but totally useless to the customer, just like a bicycle for a fish.

Beats me?
Our screen do not have 4K resolution that's a fact. So even if u enabled it, you can't see 4K, and putting extra working on CPU for nothing.

So i saw in a friend's iphone that after recording the high fps video, it was possible to edit that original video and edit the slow motion selection whenever they want...
Is this possible in our case (as long as the original 120 fps video is in the phone in the 120p folder)? or will we never be able to edit selections after that one time?
maybe someone develops a video editing app to edit the original video to stretch the timeline again of the original video....

if you have saved the original 120 fps video, you can only edit it again/in album app when you have the Sony Movie Creator installed (look at update center if it isnt installed yet).
now on the video there will appear a little symbol where the video can be opened in movie creator. now you have the possibility to cut the video or to choose a part of the video where you can adjust the speed of the video (1x , 1/2x etc) .
hope this will help

Hi. gsmarena and wikipedia state this phone is capable of 1080p at 30 and 60 fps and also 720p at 120fps. Is it an error? I can't find it in the video settings. I'm on MM 6.0.
Thanks!

120 fps Video is now handled within a Camera App called Timeshift Video.
To access it swipe right in your camera window, if not installed add the camera app from Google play store.

My phone's resolution is 540×960 and my TV's resolution is 1080×1920. The picture looks extremely bad in the TV. Is there a way to get better quality in the TV? Also the response time is almost half second. Can I reduce it somehow? For video it's not much of a problem but for browsing and games, it's frustrating
Thanks in advance
Edit: I use ClockworkMod's "Screen Recording and Mirror" and "AllCast receiver"

There's an app called second screen on the play store. It lets you boot your device using another screen resolution. Root required. :good:

4k video sample works too.
I was looking around in my camera settings on my Nokia 8 but couldn't find a 1080p 60fps option which surprises me since 4k 60 is available. I downloaded the Google camera port and tried it on there too but the video is zoomed in dramatically.
The spec sheet on GSMarena doesnt say 1080 60 either.
Is this a bug or does Nokia not want this phone to have 1080p 60fps? If there is a solution I'd really like to know!
Thanks.

You should try GCam but for this you should download this APK:
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.2.apk
-Install APK File
-Open the app then go to video settings.
-Disable image stablizer and close the app.
-Open the app again and switch video recording.
-There should be box called 30 top of the screen, tap it.
-Select 60.
You can look at this link more detail:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-8/themes/modded-google-camera-hdr-nokia-8-t3713411
(Note: I assume your default video recording mode is 1080P).
