I came from Aquarios Rom, Android 8.1, I flash without firmware, that's ok but the wifi and fingerprint won't work, everyone have the same problem. And how can I fix this,

I noticed but with at least 2 Pie roms.
After flashing Pie rom and boot, and reboot to recovery, there is no option to make /data backup. Always!
/internal_storage is always 0MB and there is no way to flash anything from internal storage in TWRP.
How to make backup than or flash anything?

Tried several pie rom for Redmi 4 prime, same issue:
"Cast/Miracast" cannot be used, when connecting to a wireless display adapter, screen will turn black and desktop will FC/crash, looks like a soft reboot. Same adapter can be connected correctly with no issue under 3rd party 8.0 rom (e.g. Lineage15.1 https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1hGQoixLYwJZWNx0pcPVF-DlKi11Wb-_U)
Can anyone test it on this rom? Much apprecipated.

This ROM come with Lawnchair. On Pixel app there are Calculator, Gmail (no other email app), and Calendar.

What are the default Dialer & Messaging App?

So far all things are good. The only problem is some apps crash but after uninstalling and installing from play store it gets fixed. I restored 75 apps via titanium backup and only 2 of my apps FCed: Reddit and mx player

This is the most stable and featureful ROM I tried so far.
There are only 2 small things I noticed:
- However I have the latest available version, 20190225, the system notifies me that an update is available. Checking it, it shows the build I already have.
- I miss a feature, the profiles that are set based on bluetooth- or wifi connection. I love the possibility to set ring- and call volume based on the connected wifi: home or at my workplace.

Amazing Rom, i will flash it. What about fingerprint?can work normally?i heard that pie rom is trouble about fingerprint after reboot.

Have you tried other pie versions, Crdroid for ex, aren't you getting random app crashes, especially with chrome?

The Dev is trying to fix the bug but VoLTE will be the last bug he will look into, and u can use camera picture workaround until the camera bug gets fixed.

Calls are not working it system ui restarts when called or arrived

For me Camera was working fine .
Its just a volte issue ,these days almost everyone is using jio . And without volte we can't make call in that . So it's my humble request sir to fix volte as soon as possible otherwise This rom is just perfect .

If you can send/receive messages, can receive calls, but cant make them, download the two files from -Here and replace them in system/priv-app. You will need root for this
GSIs
This Havoc build ships with Project Treble compatibility , meaning you can flash a GSI as System Image from TWRP. Please don't report GSI bugs here, report them instead to the GSI's maker. A Format Data from TWRP is required after flashing a GSI in order to avoid problems.
Technical details on our Treble implementation:
This device is a community-treble device, meaning other devs before us made it compatible with Project Treble, using the oem partion as a vendor. GSIs still have some problems regarding cpu frequency scaling and camera. You have been warned.

I've been trying further. Night light wasn't the thing that made my screen stop working, it was setting the brightness to minimum.
If I set the brightness to minimum, the screen always goes off.

But, I cannot find anyway to update Havoc in the future (no update rom found)
Is it impossible to update in the future without reflashing it everytime ?

As we are not official Havoc (notice the Unnoficial tag) we cannot use the OTA system that Havoc has in place, so the only option is reflashing everytime

Some times you may be able to dirty flash. But as we are in the middle of the entire bringup and some big changes are happening left and right, dirty flash may sometimes leave you with something unusable

Finaly I've choosen to stay on Havoc, the best rom in my opinion
But i've got a problem, not critical but annoying...
In settings, sound & ringtone, it's actually impossible for me to change ringtone, notifications or others. Since I push to change, all the settings app crashes. All the others fonctions is OK.
Do you want a kind of report or something else if it can help you ?

HUH, that's the last thing i thought could break. If you can grab a logcat of it crashing that would be fantastic

The same issue here Not possible to change call signal... After several attempts - "settings application" stopped working. Havoc flashed directly on new stock 8.0.
.

.
And... nope! Last version (20201207) didn't change a thing - still setting app crashes... This rom is SO close to perfection. This above setting app issue, and lack of fingerprint pad configuration - if someone would like to use it for example to sleep/wake the phone.
One way or another - the rom is great, congratulations, I was nearly crying when I had to go back to my previous fully functional daily driver...

Has anyone discovered any solution or workaround for this issue?

Bro, I need to install Dolby Atmos. Please try to add in it. Also One more problem.
I tried to set pin on my tab but the system ui crashed and i restarted the device. Device was not locked but it ask for pin in settings > security.

Guys dont install this I lost my imei number and baseband version with play protect certification. This is not a proper build.

Hey, sorry for late reply, but I think this has happened because com.android.phone doesn't work properly on this ROM. You can try to flash another ROM (try using stock firmware) and see if imei is still there. Imei are stored in a different partition of the storage.
