is AOD still broken as it was on Oreo? (assuming without the clock apk fix) as i prefer to have the stock clock.

Dear All,
I have use Rom Toolbox Lite to change the Display from 320 dpi to 240 dpi successfully on
Kingdroid V3 and
Criskelo V7
Everything works perfectly EXCEPT
TouchWiz Home NOT working and
Samsung Chinese Keyboard Not Working properly
does anyone know howto install S3 Svoice mod into this roms
please help?
thank you very much!
All Samsung apps (touchwizz, dialer, calendar etc) won't work with custom dpi's. You'll need an alternative launcher (recommend launcher7 or adw).
You can get the dialer to be usable again by setting one handed operation in settings, that will resize it so its fully visible again. Alternatively use another dialer from play store.
Have not experienced Samsung Chinese calendar but imagine its the same issue. Would highly recommend swiftkey 3 tablet as an alternative with excellent Chinese support, much better than stock.

you can find that in an Asian rom and select in input in settings the language.
Itsbpossible Samsung changed the location to the Samsung keyboard, so you might have to set it there.

Hello,
I used rom toolbox to lower LCD density from 240 to 190, as a result I got much more usable space on phone because all the icons are smaller and much more content can fit on screen while everything is still readable.
There can be some bugs that have to be fixed by custom launchers so heres my setup:
-Official ICS V30a rooted rom
-apex launcher
-grid size set to one higher than stock
-rom toolbox pro (free version works as well)
-(UPDATE 1) widgetlocker for lockscreen
Only bug that apears with this setup is on a lockscreen, transparen gradiant is small, visible and ugly but Im gonna fix that with custom lockscreen and update you on that.
Have you ever tried this? Whats your experience?
Heres how to do this:
ROOT REQUIERED!
Get rom toolbox, go to performance, click build.prop, click file icon upper left in top action bar and you will see LCD density. Set it to 190, reboot. Then play arround with launcher to make it look good.
UPDATE 1: I used widgetlocker to configure lockscreen and that completes the setup.

Hi,
i am the owner of a oneplus 3t with Oreo and i cannot use Floatify anymore because Google doesnt allow screen overlay?? I dislike the stock lockscreen and how the notifications are showed.
I have used floatify with notifications as an alternative before i upgraded to Oreo. In the past i have also uses NiLS to show notifications on my stock lockscreen but this app doesnt work on Oreo.
Is there an alternative app that shows notifications on my stock lockscreen /
Is there an alternative that replaces the stock lockscreen with notifications?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, as you all know there is big difference in samsung experience home and touchwiz launcher. The only issue which just bother me alot is that of big font size of the labels of icons without changing the dpi. Is it possible to smaller the size of the labels on Samsung experience home? Like in one UI, i really do not want to upgrade to Pie right now. Screenshot is attached
Just so you know pie update uses something new called OneUI and not Samsung experience 9.5 which was on android oreo 8.1.
Go to settings > display > font and screen zoom
And adjust the font size... Hope that helps
I just Installed android pie with UI, How to change screen grid to 8*9??
grx touchwiz not work in android 9.
AFAIK with the stock launcher you can't set that grid size. You would need to use a 3rd party launcher like Nova or Hyperion.
