I have had this setting on other custom ROM's and it does seem to be an official feature of Android, but I can't seem to find it anywhere in EUMI 9. Did Huawei disable/not include this or was it moved? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks! sorry about my bad english
I was quite sure I could disable Peek globally for all the apps, but actually... Actually I can't find such feature. You can for sure disable it per-app in Settings --> Notifications.
Hello, dear community,
I just recently got me a P10 (Stock ROM / rooted (Magisk) / HyperPlus kernel ) and was wondering why there is not auto-brightness setting available. I can neither find a toggle in the quick settings nor anything in the 'normal' display settings. I obviously searched Google/XDA but there doesn't seem to be anybody else missing it, only found some reports about screen dimming problems with EMUI 8 when openingsome apps, which seems to be a totally different issue.
Has this 'feature' been disabled with a recent update or did the Huawei P10 never have it at all? Could it have something to do with my phone begin rooted (Magisk), using a different kernel (HyperPlus) or choosing another design?
Thanks in advance for any help
Auto brightness is included in stock and in open kirin lineageos.
Well, that's what I've thought. But do you have any idea why this setting might not be available to me? If necessary I could provide screenshots... Is it enabled by default and just can't be turned off?
I definitely have to adjust it manually for different lighting conditions...
I posted a thread a while back here about the same problem I had with a stock P10.
After its 1st update, lost auto brightness setting. In the end, had to send it back to Huawei UK for them to sort out.
Could only suggest reinstalling your software from Firmware finder and hope that cures it. If not, you may have to get in touch with Huawei.
Hi all. I'm thinking to buy a MI9 but only in case I could find a way to setup multiple users on the device. I understand the MIUI doesn't have this feature by default which has been keeping me away from this manufacturer for a long time. However, I still hope there should be a way to enable the multiuser mode? Anyone?
you're wrong. MIUI has user accounts. just go to settings, special functions and profiles
Not only that, apart from user accounts, you can clone applications on one account that you won't find on other smartphones
You have second space in MIUI 11, but it's only 1 user more
I force updated my phone to android 10 and looking for an option to add a user as a guest.
I have looked through all the settings but didn't find anyway even in developer mode.
can anybody tell me whether this phone supports multiple users or not?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Android 13 supports per app language settings, but I don't see this option in the latest Oxygen OS 13 update. Any suggestions?
I also noted the same issue, done a lot of research without answer
Hey, any news on this?
I am searching this option aswell. There is no option on the phone settings. no official information from oneplus / oxygenos aswell. Another point to be disappointed at..
some apps allow changing the language on the appointment settings, that's all I found
