Hello, is here a chance to install Android Oreo (beta) on SM-N950F? Thanks for answer.

YES IT DOES! For UN-branded FW, ALL carriers must approve that FW for release!

Because Sammy OS is heavily modded to their linking so it will take time for them to get it all up and running and then testing and then some more testing.

Maybe you haven't check it. Because since November I bought it I had received 3 updates. Last one yesterday.

carriers release updates to use on THEIR network; it doesnt matter one bit who you bought the phone from..
thats common knowledge in the cellular world.. Google is the only sometimes "exception", but if their phones are sold by any carrier, i.e. when t mobile sold the nexus 6, it was T Mobile who released/approved updates, NOT Google

it does matter.
in Europe, if you don't get your phone through a carrier you get the F model.
while other variants get their updates through the carrier, F models always get their updates directly from Samsung.
until the note 8 the unbranded models(like the F models) where always first to get updates, because no carrier approval is needed.
edit: correction.
there are carrier specific F models, the carrier branding is in the csc in those cases.
any phone bought from Samsung directly or a store that isn't tied to a carrier will always have an "unbranded" csc in Europe.

Could someone please tell me which region this phone version CLT-L09(C706) is localised? I bought my p20 pro from one of the local store here in New Zealand on the weekend and it came with emui build 8.1.0.101 March security patch.

I have same device in NZ. Still on firmware 101 version. Have you received any OTA updates yet?

I bought mine from NZ too. Still on 101 but Firmware Finder shows that 120 is going to come soon(er than later hopefully).

No joy guys, looks like we'll be stuck on this firmware for long time The latest firmware on FF is not approved for our device C706. I also contacted FunkyHuawei and they were non-committal on supporting C706. I'm contemplating to debrand to C636 or European rom which seems to get a faster update.

I've also got a C706 - just received the 120 update ota in New Zealand. Much quicker than I feared it might be ?

In NZ here with c706. Still on 130 version while Soo many further updates. Huawei has always been slow in NZ for updates but from what I can under c706 is for NZ and Australian carriers and it's not tied to specific carrier this time

Same boat as you mate, still stuck on 130 and even on a quick check using FF it is still showing 130 as latest update on C706. Other than what seems to be a poor battery life on 130 I don't have any issue with the phone.

I bought a P30 pro, 256GB with a Huawei Watch GT (a "gift") , at 3.dk in Denmark for DKK 5.160 i.e. ~ $ 775 + ~$7 a month more than I used to pay for the network. It is to be delivered next week.
I know nothing about the version no., but hope it is European 432. Dual-sim should be included.
I have been quite happy with my P20 pro, but unhappy with slow very slow updates. But after a year of updates the camera i absolutely faboulous now, which it was not to begin with.
According to our DXO friends in France the P30 pro is the absolutely best on photografing, so I am looking forward to see if they are right there

So Amazon UK has it for pre-order with delivery by April 6... was able to place an order here in the USA... Funny enough, Amazon France has it as well but won't... I'll see if they scrap my pre-order but in my recent experience with the Xiaomi Mi 9, if the order is in, it charges ok and then its golden... fingers cross. Should get it before April 9th!!!!

It should go through. I ordered the Huawei super car charger from there and it said couldn't be delivered to the US. I got it a few days later. Already placed my order for the P30 pro from Amazon UK.

Mine in black arrived today and it is nice. Was able to get a 256GB / 8GB setup from an overseas contact for a little of a shipping premium. It's awesome. Worth getting however you can:good:

Just about all new phones but my daily recently was Mate 20 Pro. I can say without a doubt this is better and better then S10 and Xiaomi Mi 9 and Google Pixel 3 XL and Nokia 9

TMobile of course but yes no wifi calling since its not a phone available in the US even though I heard TMobile overseas has it as an offering. I haven't dig into that aspect to see if I can. I do know that you can always do the the Google voice workaround but really isn't a factor for me currently :angel:

I purchased mine from TechnoLec U.K. and got the unlocked Global / U.K. version for use in the USA. I did not get the best deal, but I didn't want to mess with some of the other people on eBay that seemed a little sketchy. These guys are authorized and they had 100% ratings. Hopefully it works out.

Can you confirm the phone has VOLTE on TMO US?
Place a call with wifi off and see if it still says 4g LTE.
Or download Network Cell Info Lite from playstore and go to the Device + Sim and see if VoLTE capable says "Yes".

VoLTE confirmed. Wifi Calling of course is not supported with Huawei and TMO USA

I believe one is International (VOG-L29) and the other is U.K. (VOG-L09). The bands are the same. Th VOG-L29 is "hybrid dual SIM"

Here in Sweden we are stuck at .124
I'd contact support and suggest that it's better to send out updates worldwide.
They told as usually it's on the way but not when.

153 is avaliable only in China for Ota update. You should expect 140 first. Me thinks

No I m on 124 like most of us.

Same here in Germany, stuck in 124 since i bought the phone. Unfortunatly huawei doesn't allow updates on a manual way.

Yesterday my P30 Pro arrived.
After setting it up, i searched for new firmware. My device comes with .124 and has installed .140 (about 330MB).
I´m in Germany, and my carrier is Deutsche Telekom.

So are most of China on the latest version and the rest of us are 2 versions behind? I don't understand why we would have to pay to update via the funkyhuawei surely it should just be free? I've always used Samsung's but don't recall updates bring rolled out this oddly lol why aren't the updates so just released to everyone at the same time?

I'm in Canada, Carrier is Telus and I'm on .138, got the Phone 5 days ago not sure at what firmware it was on at, but got an update as soon as I turned it on, it is now at 138.

I'm in the French Caribbean island of Saint-Martin, and I had the update a few days ago, I'm talking about .140
With Huawei phones it is very dependent on the Sim you have in the phone. Even when the phone is unlocked.
My operator is a local Orange knockoff, but it must be loosely connected to the real deal in France, and thus I had the update.

In Thailand
Some got 153 about week
Some still stuck at 109
Btw I'm on 140

There is an app called update finder. I have downloaded and opened it on my p30 pro and it does indeed offer future firmware that we have no received yet.
It doesn't appear to be OTA though and I am far from an expert. I have included the link to the app. Hopefully someone here can make some use of it. ?

I might root it because of the delays in updates, even thought its a korean version it gets the updates a month or two after global versions, plus im having some network connectivity problems with my operator because it has different frequency band with SK telecom frequency band-i live in Europe, i tried to change but it seems impossible without root.
