Hi Everyone,
Recently got my P20 Pro and love it so far.
The only thing is that I sometimes discover the wifi setting turns itself off.
Does anyone know why this happens and how I can go about keeping it on?
It's the only android phone where I have experienced this. Just now I have also switched on the WiFi + setting to see if that does anything.
Any pointers/ advice gratefully received.
Cheers.

Hi there. It's the CLT-L29.
I've just the Wifi+ on and will see how that fares.

Got the phone few days ago, and its great. BUT, for some reason when the phone switches to 4G because of low wifi connection in my bedroom the phone will constantly reboot itself, real annoying problem obviously.
Ive been looking for a solution but havent found it..

I'd suggest contacting Oneplus support. This doesn't sound usual.
Been having the same problem, exactly as you described it.
I was wondering if my ROM had anything to do with it, are you running a custom ROM?
Were you able to fix the issue somehow?

I'm running resurrection remix nougat rom, and am still having the issue.
Current thought was to use something like Tasker to disable 4g when connection on wifi, and reenable when losing wifi signal.

Found the solution on a oneplus forum. Remove the myproximus app. Really.

Hmm... try finding something that's involving "Smart Network Switching" and uncheck it if possible. I'm sorry if i didn't help but i don't really know about Oneplus's ROMs.
Hi all,
I got a brand new Huawei P20 Pro this week and it keeps falling off my Wi-Fi network, I can't precisely replicate it but it is enough to make me think the phone has a fault.
Has anyone else ever experienced similar? or should I just go straight back to the retailer? :crying:
My P20 Pro kept disconnecting shortly after connecting to WIFI and you could actually see the signal drop to 0 and then back up. The trouble is, when it did go back up it took a few seconds for the access to come back. and I fixed it by dropping my WIFI security down from WPA2-PSK to WPA-PSK.
Oh and I also had the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge on Oreo that was sorted out by a Samsung update 6 Months later.
Btw it's not a Virgin Superhub that you are using?

Yup... it is because of their stupidly aggressive battery management. I need to disable/enable wifi at least 50% of the time when I unlock it.
There is no fix. Android 9 beta is no different.
I would recommend to you what I would tell anyone... If you are still in the return period, exchange the phone for something else. They will never sort this issues with this phone. There are just too many, especially considering their crazy slow update history.
I had a similar issue on my P20 Pro and after resetting network configuration the problem is gone, at least temporarily.

I am very concerned to read this. That's hard to swallow for a new £600 purchase

How long have you been good since the network config refresh? It's been 26 hours since mine and so far so good.............
I did read on some thread somewhere that it is a fault of Android's "restore" of wifi SSIDs and passwords, if it is that, that would explain why the network config refresh has (at least some sort of) an impact.
Mine has been working fine ever since

I have checked but it does not resolve the issue. I'm confused, don't know what to do again. Is it possible to revert the last update I did, I believe it is the culprit. Or is there another solution to this?
I have global Venus mi 11 phone since last security update my phone suddenly shutdown/restart or sometime freeze then auto restart.
Also sometimes force close any app mostly Twitter and YouTube.
Any solution??
Note. Phone not rooted or try not to rooted. And two time factory reseted.
Have this problem too..
Today it restarted for me too...
Happening to me recently too
I had this problem before, and my phone finally bricked 2 months ago. After that, Xiaomi got my bricked mi 11 back, and send me a new phone. You'd better backup the data in case your phone suddenly bricked (or wifi is broken).
Do you have the MIUI 12.5 or 13?
Same here, it happens usualy on mobile internet and while browsing some instagram or fb..
So no one havent find the whats causing the problem or solution to it?
For me it happends only when im on mobile internet for example 4G here in Germany.
It happens usualy when im looking thru Instagram or facebook feed. Its strange and very annoying especialy since I use 4g a lot and need it for travel. Can anyone help? Ive reported it many times but no answers.
To me it happened only once, so all good since then.
msame worries, it was unbearable!! and that since version 15.5.20 Xiaomi.eu
Im still strugling with reboots. It only does on 5G, 4G+, 3G.. I mean on mobile network. On wifi it doesnt happend at all and I think this is problem with lte signals or software. Nothing else.. Has anyone found solution? Im still waiting MIUI 13 for eu version..

No, still happends, everytime when I use mobile internet, on wifi phone rocks, but on 4G it sucks. It happends also to lose mobile network while driving for example when I am in a call and im driving, sometimes phone cant find network but my friend has it.. Its weird problem and I guess there is no solution online.. Will probably destroy this phone because of this, it annoys me a lot.

Are you rooted?? If. Yes please look in folder /root/data/vendor/ramdump.
Are there modem_ramdump files? I have and it was filling up space...

Hi everyone! I just bought my 11T Pro about a week and a half ago and I cannot play Mobile Legends. I can open the app however, after queue for a game, it will always show reconnecting. Does anyone experienced and fixed it? How did you do it? Thanks in advance!

I have No issues at all ..
Most likely a YOU thing. I've had it for over a year non-root and only recently rooted it and both works with no difference. If WiFi, ask your ISP. If mobile data, check the freq band for the phone and your data sim/plan
