did you wipe after updating?
No, What steps would you suggest for wiping. Trying not to lose all of my data if possible.

Well let me preface this by saying a phone like this with no SD card...you might as well get used to, occasionally, backing up your content on another device (external hard drive, computer, cloud, etc...) because sometimes you'll have to wipe to fix an issue.
That being said, I would back up anything important and then go to SETTINGS > BACKUP AND RESET > FACTORY DATA RESET
This method will wipe EVERYTHING on your phone, but it will fix 99.9% of software issues. It's worth trying. Plus it's always a good idea to do a factory reset after a major update.
I updated to Android Pie via OTA a few weeks ago and since then my phone in not able to install apps in any way, tried Play Store, Galaxy Store and ADB and nothing works, they always get stuck at the installation part.
What's interesting though is that if I go into secure folder and try to install from there, it actually works so I have no idea what is happening.
I cannot factory reset as I'm on a trip and I need the settings on my phone to be working fine.
Any ideas?

Try wiping the Cache Partition in Recovery Mode. That should fix your OS issue.

Already did, does not work at all..
I was thinking about installing the indian update for the March security patch maybe that would help. I'm in a COO CSC is there a problem with that?

In that case back up all the data stored on your device and perform a hard factory reset.

As I said I cannot do that.. Isn't there a way to troubleshoot this without factory resetting?

1; Try clearing play store cache in
Phone Setting/app/ (3dots show system apps)/Google play store.
2: or clear data and cache on play store.
3: or remove your Google account and clear data and cache on play store and re-log into your Google account.
4: or Do a factory reset!

Since it's stock ROM, try wiping cache from recovery. If that doesn't work, then factory reset ? (Backup data !)

Did you face the problem after updating the device or installing any app ?
Try booting into safe mode and check FP to rule out any interference by 3rd party app

Have no idea there are no extra apps apart from google...
Hi there,
I started experiencing a weird issue with my camera after installing March 2020 update yesterday. When I try opening the camera app (including the google cam as well) it just "keeps stopping". Also the flashlight is no longer available - it is greyed out and cannot be clicked. My phone is stock, not rooted, not modified.
Has anyone experienced the same issue?
Any ideas on how to resolve it are appreciated!
If you have updated from 9 to 10 without factory reset, I'm afraid you'll experience more glitches.

Hi, I have a strange problem with google maps. After updating to the latest version, the application closes all the time (without giving any error). Clear app data helps but only until the next restart. When I uninstall all map updates it works normally.
Here is a video how it looks like: https://streamable.com/idq37q
Roll it back to the factory version...

Updating gmail and gmaps from Samsung factory versions always yields a worse version
Gookill sucks.
My problem seems to be memory related. When the application is open or I quit it (but I won't close it completely), it starts up normally. When I force it to stop, it won't start anymore (I need to clear cache and app data to work again). Anyone have an idea how to fix this?
