Hi Guys. didn't notice this until today as I was selecting an event in calendar (Huawei Calendar) and clicked on Show on map. usually when I was using Google Calendar, if I would click link to the location of the event, Maps Google would open but on the Huawei App it opens a website amap.com which is for navigating in China?
I have checked the Huawei calendar app but sadly haven't found any settings there.
is there a way to change it so Maps Google would be used?
Me too
I don't think it's always done that.
I am on a Mate20 Pro.
Can't see any setting to revert to Google maps.
I have the same issue, appeared in EMUI 9
I have tried to contact their support and ask for this, but somehow I forgot the exact steps to recreate it.
Could someone help me out? Was it the link to maps from the notification of calendar?
edit: ok found it. It looks like it is for events which are coming from google calendar down to Huawei calendar app.
I will test it and contact support.
edit 2: Correct. If the address is added on calendar.google.com and will be synced to Huawei P20Pro.
Once event is opened in Huawei Calendar app and the user will click on "Show on map" link underneath the address - it will open Chinese maps website.
I have opened a ticket with UK Huawei Support and provided them screenshots and small video

Hi XDA, I need some assistance in finding the APK for the stock android wear stopwatch. Prior to 6.0.1, I had both the Samsung stopwatch and the stock Google stopwatch, after installing the update I could not find the stock stopwatch anywhere on the watch, I have attempted to search thru OTA and system dumps for the APK but so far I have had no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. Here is the app I am talking about.

Update
So after finding a pull of the system from July 2014, I have found that the stopwatch is contained within the DeskClockMicroApp.apk and its matching .odex file, now I need some assistance as the apk has a conflicting package name with the clock app currently installed.
Update 2: Progress
So I have decompiled the apk, changed the package name, and recompiled and signed with a debug key. The app works when launched via voice actions and set as default stopwatch HOWEVER it does not show up in either the native app drawer or wear mini launcher (It also does not show up in the app drawer when installed to my phone, however, creating a shortcut within activity launcher allows launching and using the app)
So here I am, the app works but you have to use voice actions, if anyone knows how to fix the icon, please reply.
Hello,
I am using a Huawei P30 Pro, the model is VOG-L29 on EMUI 9.1.0.168.
I use this device as my personal mobile, however I have added my organisations work profile to the device.
After the work profile is added to the device, all of the notifications become generic, regardless of whether they are my personal notifications or work related notifications.
This is how they look after the profile is added:

Generally the Whatsapp notification will have the person that has messaged me, and a preview of the message, and the Google Play Music notification will have the Artist, Song Title and Play/Pause buttons.
I have reviewed all of the app notification settings, and everything looks to be setup correctly. I have gone through the P30 Pro settings and ensured all notifications settings are set to display, as well as ensuring everything relating to the work profile is correct.
As I am the person that has setup the work profiles for my organisation, I have reviewed all of the settings as well as contacted Google support (As we use G Suites Mobile Device Management) to see if this is an issue with the organisation settings, or the device its self. Google support is convinced that it is an issue with the P30 Pro.
This morning I have setup a Motorola Moto E5 with a personal account, and then added a work account afterwards (Using the same method as I did with my P30 Pro) and the Motorola displays notifications correctly.
It would appear this issue is specific to my device, and I am wondering if this is a known issue or if there are any solutions.
Thanks.

[UPDATE #2]
Some xiaomi devices have Webview **Disabled** and no way to uninstall updates
Fix:
Uninstalling the latest updates from Google Chrome should stop apps from crashing on your device. Do note that if your data on Chrome isn’t synced with an account, you will lose all of it.
Just uninstall Chrome Updates.done
Good Luck
Hello there! New to this forum! So, here's the thing - I live in Europe, Poland, and about 2 or so years ago, I have bought a P30 Pro phone from one of our local stores - I highly doubt that it is a Chinese version of the device, but I might be wrong. Either way, I have recently installed Google Contacts app from Play Store, as I have wanted to make it a default on my device - I am wanting to use it with cooperation with the official People app from Microsoft on my Windows 10 PC, so that I can easily message my family or friends from my computer - But since to do that I would need to have Google's app manage my contacts, rather than the preinstalled dialer on my phone, I decided I would be willing to adapt and change my habits over to the new app. All would be nice and easy, if my phone actually detected Google's app I have installed and let me change it to default contacts app in settings, which it doesn't. Any idea why that might be happening?

Thank you, that worked. I was kinda surprised that it needed to be the Google's dialer app but glad it worked.
Got my phone debloated yesterday and started adapting it to my preferences.
I was very happy with the look and widget functionality on my P30 Pro and ideally would like to replicate it.
Here is a screenshot:

I am using Nova and an icon pack called 7null, but this is no longer available on the appstore - and can't find it on my phone.
Not a big deal.
The widget showing the time is Zooper which unfortunately is not longer available. I love this widget as it's extremly customisable - I chose to have it connected to my google calender so it always shows the next event. Phone temp not important. Tapping the clock takes me to the alarm, tapping calender opens google calendar.
I tried to transfer the app and downloaded it as APK from the web, but nothing happens when I try to install.
Anyone know if it's possible to install or if there is another widget that has a similar look/funtionality?
The next calender event is number 1 for me. The option on the phone right now just showing the entire calendar month.
thanks!
Reinstalled the Vivo store which enabled me to install the APK - now I just need to figure out how to remove the widget name without losing the app names
try this
go to setting->Home screen,lock screen & wallpaper->home screen settings->icon style,size & name->turn off show icon name
tried that but that removes app names which I need. I just want the widget name gone. Never had widget names displayed on other phones
