Time not displaying on today top menu bar?

I have a Tilt running the official HTC WWE ROM.
I can't seem to get the time to show up on the today screen's top menu bar. It shows up when I'm running a program, but it disappears whenever I'm at the today screen. I'm guessing it has something to do with the HTC Task Manager - whenever I run the task manager settings program and then close out of it, the time will display on the today screen. However, whenever I access anything from the top menu bar, the time will disappear and be replaced by the battery / charging icon (worthless in my case because i use a today plugin that displays that information). Is anybody else having this problem?

Flash / Flashlight Notification on android?

Hey guys,
is there an option to have iOS like flash notifications on android? Still using the HTC One M7.ug
Tested apps like Flash Blink and LightFlow pro, in both apps the flash works in test modes of the apps, but doesnt work when a notification comes
in (whatsapp etc)
Everything is set fine I guess.

I use Tasker to do this for example:
Profile 1: Screen off + SMS received ---> Launch Task #1
Task 1:
Turn flashlight on
wait 50 ms
turn flashlight off
wait 5 s
go to action 1
Profile 2: Screen is turned on ---> Launch Task #2
Task #2:
Kill task #1
You can make as much profile as you want so for example you can set different flash pattern for missed calls, sms, for a specific contact etc..

You can "capture" app notification in Tasker to trigger a task:
New profile:
---> Event ---> UI ---> Notification ---> Owner app ---> Whatsapp
+
--> State ---> Display ---> Screen off
=
Task 1:
Turn on the flash
wait .05 sec
turn off the flash
wait 5 sec
go to step 1
you also need an exit task or an independent profile to kill the previous task so it stop blinking when you turn on your screen:

Conditional task

Hi,
I've made a bunch of [what I assume you will think of as] crude profiles and tasks. The main ones are the location profiles for home/office/workout etc. I've also created a "normal" task, which I've set as exit task on the appropriate profiles. Now...the problem is that if I'm at home, the night profile kicks in, I leave home (or some other combination) the normal task will fire - and even though I wanted a silent phone while sleeping it might go off will all kinds of alarms.
So...is it possible to set the whole task so that it will only fire if there are no active tasks in an array of specified tasks? Or....have the normal task fire whenever no other tasks are active?
Cheers!
You could use an if statement and use the below variable, and do not match regex, then put else and add stop then end if.
Tasks Running (dynamic)
%TRUN
A comma-separated list of any named tasks which are currently running. The list always starts and ends with a comma to make matching easier, if it's not empty.
So, in my task I should have
1. IF %TRUN ~ ,hjemme,jobb,
2. ELSE
3. STOP
4. END IF
5. My first action
6. My second action
?
It should be like this
1. IF %TRUN !~R ,hjemme,jobb,
2. Put all your actions here that you want to execute when the other tasks are not running.
3. Stop
4. ELSE
5. Here you add all the actions that you want to execute if ,hjemme, jobs, are running.
6. Stop
7. END IF
8. Stop

Hello, what is it with this thread?

Hide "Running in the background" Notifications Android Oreo 8.0

On Android Oreo notification which has been annoying users has been the “App is running in the background” notification. The notification cannot be removed nor can it be disabled, so you have to put up with it taking up screen space in your notifications.
While it’s not possible to permanently disable the notification without root access, it is possible to effectively permanently snooze the notification so you'll never see it again.
Just download AutoNotification from the Google Play Store. .
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joaomgcd.autonotification
Instructions:
1. Open Notification Blocking
2. Select 'Android System'
3. In All Fields Optional/Filter Title, key in; running in the background
4. Done.
WORKS! THANK YOU!
German Version , in Title: anderen Apps angezeigt ... it must be a part of the sentense of the notification on the top, to make it work. Thank you again!
Hide running in the background notification. In the playstore works good for me too
Does this work in android 10?

How to disable "Power Consumption Control" notification

I get this repeated annoying notification of "Power Consumption Control" that one app is consuming power in the background. This is because I have permitted Tasker to run in the background. I need it to run in the background and therefore do not want this notification to repeatedly come which I have to dismiss.
Please tell me how to disable this.
Go to app manager then set the battery notification as unimportant notification. Try if it works ?
I did that already. But now the notification sits in unimportant. It is less annoying but is there a way to completely disable this particular notification.
On my realme c3, the battery notification can't be turn off at all! Dammed realme.
