Can I add chrome and remove "internet" on the bottom apps

I want to add chrome to the bottom dock on my telus note and remove the stock browser icon....how can I do this?

If your on stock Touchwiz then open app drawer, press menu, then press edit. Then simply drag the chrome icon to the dock.

Tap and hold works on the icons on bottom. Then move the old icon to trash or a empty slot and tap hold the chrome to move it to the quick bar on any place you want

Damn. I guess telus has that feature disabled on their touchwiz. Neither option worked for me.

[Q] How to disable One-Hand Mode

Hello folks, my little fingers always trigger the one-hand mode(somehow). I see nothing to disable this(where is the turn off switch eh?) hell of a thing nor know spesific app/service name to knock it the f* out. Can anyone point out? Thanks.

Tap in the black area of the screen. Disabling the feature is in settings.

Hi, you can find it in settings, can't tell you where exactly ( I'm on a custom rom)

I mean how to disable it completely, 'To close, tap to darkened area' is not what i need lol. Neither Epic, nor EU rom has got 'disabling' option or im blind.

Found a way to disable it manually by following build.prop string:
ro.miui.has_handy_mode_sf=1 change value to 0.

My 11 years old cousin even edits build.prop. I don't think that he's an advanced tho.

One of the downsides of using another SPen that I've experienced is that the SPen normally stored in the silo needs to be ejected/removed before the screen recognizes the SPen.
How do you handle this?

you can turn off pen detect so that's not an issue.

Settings > Advanced Features > S Pen > Power Saver. Turn that option to "off". Works like a charm.

Notification bar gets greyed out randomly

Hi all,
I've noticed that my notification bar occasionally just greys out and only changing the theme temporarily fixes it. I looked around and saw this was also present on some other Xiaomi phones, but has anyone figured out how to stop this?

Never seen on any Xiaomi-device (only owned 3 though). Which rom do you use?

i heard that caused by application that have night mode feature, so disable that night mode in that app. In Indonesia it caused by night mode from detik.com application.

I saw that too but even with it disabled it happened. It seems whenever you use YouTube or some full screen video it happens. I flashed MIUI10 dev beta and I haven't seen it anymore.

Could be the launcher you are using?

For anyone having this issue on miui 9 , just disable dark mode on messages(Google one) app . If not , disable on any you might have dark mode enabled.

I'm coming from Honor 8 that I've been using for almost 3 years and I just recently bought K20 pro in India.
I do tend to take screen-shots often as a way of storing reminders or texting articles very frequently.
EMUI has a very handy approach to taking screenshots for a specific region or cropping them in a single gestures whereas MIUI approach is cumbersome. I found that there is an an app called Screenshot assistant that replaces Google assistant (I don't use GA at all).
So I was wondering if I could switch it up. Is there a way to do the same?
