Custom rom without root to play pokemon go

Hi guys,
Last update of pokemon go block rooted devices so i ask if it exist a custom rom without root to play pokemon go.
Is it possible to unroot CM13?
I don't want to go back to 5.1.

There are tools to hide super user for banking apps etc. You can try them, maybe it works.

I didn't try any xposed module or app to hide root but it seems that it doesn't work for users who tested that. People talk about "magisk" but i never test this and i don't sure how install it.

Finally i achieve to install magisk and it works perfectly!

saw from other posts that RootCloak doesnt work.
Even the Approved Apps for RootCloak doesnt include Pokemon GO

I use magisk with bliss and it works so i didn't try rootcloak, but i don't achieve to unroot nuclearom in order to flash magisk. Any advice?

Magisk with CM13 and Xposed

Hello guys. I'm tempted to install Magisk on my Zenfone 2 ZE551ML. I have the latest CM13 Nightly + Xposed and I want to ask if Magisk has any problem running alongside these two.
Another question is if I can still use the built in CM13 root.

Im running on CM 13 (ZenFone 2 Laser ZOOL) stable and it works fine.
The only problem is that with xposed active the safetynet check don't pass. But its just a matter of disabling xposed and rebooting when necessary.
I dont know if the differences are too significant, but hope it helps.

That means Magisk doesn't work with Xposed ? Or I just have to unninstall Xposed and then install again after installing Magisk ?

Magisk itself works perfectly with Xposed installed, only Magisk Hide that doesn't hide Xposed.
So if you don't plan on using any app that checks Safety Net (Pokemon Go, Android Pay, for example) You won't have any problem.

and what about the built in CM13 root ?

I think the newest Magisk auto removes it when you flash it.
But I had manually removed before installing magisk on mine.
But in any case, if I remember correctly you can just remove it thru the SuperSU app before flashing Magisk.

No problem. Just remember to make a nandroid backup first if you are worried.

Yea I havnt tried it thou but the Magisk has modules that can be loaded kinda like Xposed installer. Well there is Xposed framework modules maybe Someone's tried them but on Nougat it's only thing I've seen so far about it.

Can I trick an app into thinking i gave her premissions? (no root)

I have an app which asks for permission to my contacts in order to start. (She is installed but won't work until ill give her the permission for my contacts).
Is there any way to make her think she has Permissions to my contacts without giving her?
Or to hide the real contacts so she won't be able to see them?
I looked around and saw Xprivacy but I have no root so is there any other option?

That app is a big no-no here on xda, so i suggest you edit your post and remove it.
Can you provide more details, like your device and your android version? Xprivacy works up to marshmallow, if you're on Nougat you can try xposed extension protect my privacy, but i think it requires root too.
Since your have xposed installed, why don't you install root? I'm assuming you have a custom recovery to flash xposed so root should not be an issue.

Sorry, but I've seen your post in the xposed general forums, so i assumed you were looking for a n xposed related solution.
I do remember an app that used to decompile and recompile apks while removing permission requirement, but that was old and i can not remember the exact name, maybe try an app that gives you access to appOps on your rom to control access from there?

That app is considered warez/promotes cracking other apps, so it's against xda rules

System UI Battery Icon change

So ever since I got my first Android (Gingerbread) I've hated the stock 'brick' battery icon.
I've mostly used Gravitybox over the years to change it to the circle icon.
But I see Gravitybox isn't available for Android 11.
I've rooted and have EdXposed installed. I'm wondering if anyone can help or have a method of changing the battery icon. (A theme/ icon pack)
Id rather not go through the process of trying to manually unpack system UI, maybe there is another way? But I'm not finding it.

Yes the newest version works no problems. I'm not sure if magisk repo has newest version of edxposed, I had to find it on xda the other day.
Although I'm not using anything with xposed yet...

I assume you still lose GPay when you use xposed, right?

Sorry didn't fully test it, but with the new beta version of google pay, it let me log in and use the app (unlike old versions)

It would really be helpful if you could let me know what version of Riru module, what version of EdXposed Manager, and what version of EdXposed framework works for you, and if you're able to pass safetynet in Magisk.
There's so many factors with edxposed and without being able to do a backup, I would really appreciate specific version numbers, if possible, before flashing anything.

Here's screenshots of what I currently have setup. I did a reboot after each Module install, but not sure if it's necessary.
I also installed riru core v21.3, then updated to the latest, also not sure if was necessary, but I did have issues my first go around installing this but I didn't reboot after each Module installation.

I tried latest xposed and gravity box on my pixel 4a 5g, it works but for some reason, google camera force close, I must disable gravity box in order to make gcam working, nothing like that on your pixel 5?

I actually have a 4a5g, same phone as the 5 basically. Gcam closing happened to some people on older version of xposed I believe.
